Aava Whistler Hotel

A perfect hotel in a prime location near the Whistler village. The rooms are great, given the cheap price tag. Rooms are clean and well organized and spacious. The TV is a bit small and occasionally malfunctions, but it isn't a major problem. Additionally, the Soundflow alarm clock is an innovative addition to the aesthetic of the room as it allows a better flow of audio. The staff here are friendly and smile at you as you pass through the hallway. However, one complaint would be the expensive parking of the hotel. It is also not too big a problem, considering the overall pricey atmosphere of the village. Even with all of the neighboring hotels, Aava still manages to differentiate themselves with their splendid services and excellent rooms. If given the chance, the hotel would definitely see us again.

Stayed 3 nights recently at the Aava with my wife. Location is excellent, right across the street from access to Whistler Square in Whistler village. We were upgraded to a Superior King room when we booked and it was a nice room. Lots of space on the 3rd floor with vaulted ceilings. The bathroom was a bit small but everything else was fine. The property has been renovated but some areas were still a bit tired but for the price and location it was not an issue. Would stay again.

The hotel itself was nice and the rooms were comfortable. The pool area and hit tub is a great place to relax. The location is walking distance to everything as well which was perfect. I wish I could remember the name of the front desk employee who helped on us multiple occasions. She was super friendly and always gave our dog a really nice welcome! We would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel in a very good location. The rooms are big. The equipment is not luxurious but practical. Everything was clean and the rooms were made tidy. There are two negative points. For one thing, the air conditioning is extremely noisy. We had to turn them off while we were in the room. Secondly, the rooms are poorly soundproofed. For us, earplugs were mandatory even with the air conditioning off. But all in all a good hotel.

Excellent little hotel super close to everything, very reasonable rates, and extra-mile level staff. I’m not into pet friendly hotels, and had I observed any trace of an animal in my room was prepared to leave. The room, while simple, was clean as a whistle, had a Keurig, a fridge, and enough space for us, our kids, and the hockey gear. The lady at check-in was incredibly accommodating to my requests (stupid late check out associated with my kid’s game) for a small extra fee, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. Just excellent!
