Outdated rooms , okay service - but the view from the Riverside rooms is fantastic

Location is very good, 🆗 but only continental food

The decor of the room was archaic. The bed was like a large raised plank with two separate mattresses. The chairs were shabby. Overall not very impressive. But the dining was excellent with a superb view of the Rhine. The breakfast was good. Three stars because of the room's getup. Staff were very helpful.

Beautiful rooms, great location and nice Service. However, the building is getting on in years, and it could be more thoroughly cleaned.

We were for the umpteenth time in the Hotel zur Mühle. The room was very nice and with a balcony. The food, Service and friendliness is just great. The Massage fact, our body very well. You can recommend this Hotel always. It would be nice if a small fridge would be on the room. This would be for many a drink in a cool matter. Also a small swimming pool is also available. We will definitely come back...

Superb location, our room overlooked the Rhine River just 20 meters away.

Everything could have been perfectly fine (room, food, staff) - but a bunch of loud drunks in the night ruined our sleep - and we had to switch to another hotel. The noice didn't come from inside the hotel, so it's not directly the Hotel's fault, however the attitude ("I heard nothing", "No, you cant just leave") made sure we wont return here.

The location is right on the Rhine in a very desirable area of Bad Breisig. The hotel has a cozy restaurant with outdoor seating, and the room was spacious.

Wonderful stay. Out second time here. Proprietors are simply wonderful and accommodating. We had some extra needs and they were simply great. We left our cycles and baggage here for a weekend so we could do some other things. They are just great, the rooms are nice and the restaurant has great food. And we simply love Ellen and Joachim. ❤️

Great little pension in a lovely little town.

Claudia was so sweet, she really made us feel at home! We ate dinner at the Gasthof and it was delicious. The breakfast was also great, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, boiled eggs and a big charcuterie plate! A must-visit if you are in Bad Höningen!

With so much hospitality you just have to give it 5 stars. The room was very clean and cozy. And although Mondays are closed, I got a very tasty, freshly prepared meal in the evening. The breakfast was more than good and then I would like to thank you for the nice conversations. If I'm in the area again, I'll happily stay here again.

Had a wonderful five day stay at this hotel. The host was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The breakfast are amazing, with loads of choice, and more than enough to eat. And the chefs evening meals are amazing. Enjoyed my stay and can't to come here again.

A beautiful hotel with first-class service in a relaxed yet always friendly atmosphere. A prime location directly on the Rhine. Perfect for pleasant day trips, for example, to Koblenz or Cologne. It's also very suitable for cyclists. We had a very nice, modern room with a large bathroom and a fantastic view of the Rhine. All of this at an excellent price-performance ratio.

A room with a river view...even from your bed...the view of Linz at night and the ships passing by as you fall asleep...beautiful... Very clean and quiet room, comfortable bed and flawless bathroom... wonderful. Attentive, friendly staff make breakfast a delicious start to the day.

We have been your guests last year for one night on our way to Holland. I wanted to book again this year since we had a wonderful experience both at the hotel and at the restaurant. Unfortunately you don't accept dogs so we won't be able to come. This is really very disappointing. Corinna

Gute und ruhige Lage direkt am Rhein. Großzügiger Parkplatz, moderne , komfortable und funktionale Zimmer mit ausreichend Platz . Badezimmer mit begehbarer Dusche. Wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet und sehr netter Service mit ausgefallenen Backwaren. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Bei warmen Wetter lädt die Terrasse mit Blick auf den Rhein direkt ein. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen.

Very friendly super efficient staff members who all go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. All speak very good English. The room was very clean and has a fantastic view of the Rhine. The restaurant food was delicious especially the chicken breast wrapped in bacon. The breakfast was very good too. Well worth a visit.

This was my third visit in three years. First alone, then with my beautiful young wife, and this month with both the aforementioned young bride and our adult daughter. The location is wonderful overlooking the fabulous Rhine River and it's traffic as well as the forested hills above Linz am Rhein on the opposite bank. It is close to the frequent and cheap cross-river ferry thus making Linz easily...

We stayed there only for one night, it was a nice place and we only paid because it’s close to the Rhine river. first, they forgot to put a pillow in our room then I told them and they gave us one! The room wasn’t aesthetically pleasing though we couldn’t see the Rhine but it was ok only for one night to rest. Next time I’ll pay extra to have the front room to see the Rhine otherwise there is no point...

Nice but small room with everything you need. Tasty breakfast, very good bread. For people on bikes or walkin' it is situated opposite the city of Kripp, 3 km from Remagen centre.

I was traveling through Germany for a week, it was hard to communicate I am not German. What a wonderful surprise at this hotel! Four language speaking waiter !! You have no idea how to gossip well after a week of silence. If you like schnitzels or schnitzels, I recommend this place ;-)

Really nice clean hotel with friendly helpful staff and a great view of the Rhine. It has a great path across the road for a scenic run that felt safe & pleasant. We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was 10/10. I would definitely recommend and will be booking again.

A lovely hotel to stay in it is very accessable, its got easy parking and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. If u want a nice break away i would reccomend it. You can also take the ferry to visit the old town of rhein which has some beautiful old buildings. (Views to die for).

Rating Restaurant Unique Location. Directly on the banks of the Rhine. During Sunny weather, eat on the terrace and flowing vessels look. However, the range of Food is not particularly. Pizza, Pasta, Schnitzel, etc. Gaffel Kölsch vom Fass. Waiter is nice. The toilet room is maintained. Accounting for salad, Pizza and Kölsch (0,3) approx. 12-14€ p. P.

Have stayed here 11 times since 1991 in main hotel and aparthotel but unfortunstely due to health problems and a family bereavement, not recently. Hoped to go this year but current pandemic stopped that. I found the owners and their staff very helpful. Clean and tidy rooms - the aparthotel had wine glasses available. Handy for train spotters as it is next to railway station and less than 5 minutrs...

Had the cheapest room and it was still really nice and light, the lack of a fridge and safe are the only complaints I can come up with. Staff was very friendly and helpful (and most understood English). Breakfast was great, as was dinner in the hotel restaurant. The welness is a very nice extra. Everything about this hotel is fantastic, from the amazing room (with whirlpool bath!), to the honesty bar stocked with wine and beer, to the hospitable and kind family running it. Read-only priced accommodation facing the railways station in Bad Neuenahr. Very adequate room , clean and quiet. Splendid breakfast area. One of the few hotels available after the floodings catastrophe. I was on visit from Melbourne Australia.

Lovely hotel - doesn't look like much from the outside, but really opens up inside in a very welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is a cosy, shared room available for guests, where you can buy and drink good wines from the valley. Breakfast is beatifully arranged, and the location is super practical. We will be back!

A really nice hotel. It is in the middle of the city so everything you need is within walking distance. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and the food very good. I recommend everyone to take the opportunity to explore the surrounding area (known wine region), keyword red wine hiking trail. If I get close again I will definitely check into this hotel again.

Room absolutely fine. The service was okay too, but there is no permanent reception (call to check in). Since I was a guest here on a bike tour, I thought it was good that I could park my bike inside the house. The parking space could have been a separate room and not the guest room for the morning breakfast.

Fantastic pool and spa area!! More than makes up for bad wifi and no AC. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Beware google maps navigation has the entrance on the opposite site of the street. Easy walk into the center of town across the street.

This place is mostly frequented by an elderly patronage,like most places in this town. The hotel is OK, but everything is a bit old. My room was also in need of renovation, the bathroom installation were all in working condition, but certainly more than 20 years old.

Nice clean hotel with decent sized rooms and facilities. The hotel has a peacefull vibe with friendly hosts that clearly enjoy their work. They offer all you need for a good breakfast and there are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner.

We stayed at the Hotel Mietz at the weekend. The room, very spacious, clean and equipped with a new bathroom. We slept very well, the rooms are very quiet. Nothing was missing at breakfast. The staff is very friendly, we even got an extra boiled egg. We felt very comfortable. We can highly recommend the hotel!

Staff are friendly and very helpful. The Garden is beautiful to sit and chill out too. It's been a great place to unwind while working very hard in the local town.

Sehr zentral gelegen Gute Parkmöglichkeit Selbst mit 2 Toypudeln kein Problem

Das Hotel Fürstenberg ist schon geöffnet, das Restaurant wird noch renoviert. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, parken hinter dem Haus war super. Es gibt mangels Restaurant im Moment noch kein Frühstück, aber 50 m entfernt ist eine sehr gute Bäckerei. Die Zimmer sind groß, uns hat es gut gefallen.

Super friendly staff and you felt like family (especially the breakfast in your room). A great starting point for a stop for a leisurely hike. The rooms are clean but a bit old, but the price/performance ratio is right. And if you accidentally leave something valuable, it will find its way home.
