Where to stay in Bad Breisig

Had a room with a balcony, which gave us amazing views overlooking the Rhine. Bed was comfy and breakfast had plenty of choices.

Excellent breakfast! Staff I dealt with were great. Rooms are okay. A bit outdated. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Pool (cold) and sauna are small compared to the size of the hotel. The free parking fills up fast during peak season, but you can pay to park in their garage.

This was a wonderful hotel that I wish I could have enjoyed for longer. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms did lack outlets but I believe that is because it is older. The hotel had a very friendly and helpful staff. I was happy I could easily rent a bike at a low cost for the day from the hotel. The main selling points of the hotel are the location and view. Book a room with a balcony and “Rheinblick” and it will make up for the somewhat outdated interior. Staff are friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay, can recommend.

Very used hotel, that has seen better days. Smell of moist in the corridor, but not in the room. Very quiet room with excellent beds. We slept very well. Wish they will remove the bathtub. Very problematic to step up into it, not to mention down from, in a safe way. The water preassure is not the best. Driving along the Rhein river and found the hotel, good value and looks over the river peaceful for February but imagine it can get very busy due to its size. Would visit again plus easy parking on site.

The location is right on the Rhine in a very desirable area of Bad Breisig. The hotel has a cozy restaurant with outdoor seating, and the room was spacious.

Wonderful stay. Out second time here. Proprietors are simply wonderful and accommodating. We had some extra needs and they were simply great. We left our cycles and baggage here for a weekend so we could do some other things. They are just great, the rooms are nice and the restaurant has great food. And we simply love Ellen and Joachim. ❤️

Superb location, our room overlooked the Rhine River just 20 meters away.

Everything could have been perfectly fine (room, food, staff) - but a bunch of loud drunks in the night ruined our sleep - and we had to switch to another hotel. The noice didn't come from inside the hotel, so it's not directly the Hotel's fault, however the attitude ("I heard nothing", "No, you cant just leave") made sure we wont return here.

A beautiful hotel with first-class service in a relaxed yet always friendly atmosphere. A prime location directly on the Rhine. Perfect for pleasant day trips, for example, to Koblenz or Cologne. It's also very suitable for cyclists. We had a very nice, modern room with a large bathroom and a fantastic view of the Rhine. All of this at an excellent price-performance ratio.

We have been your guests last year for one night on our way to Holland. I wanted to book again this year since we had a wonderful experience both at the hotel and at the restaurant. Unfortunately you don't accept dogs so we won't be able to come. This is really very disappointing. Corinna

Very friendly super efficient staff members who all go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. All speak very good English. The room was very clean and has a fantastic view of the Rhine. The restaurant food was delicious especially the chicken breast wrapped in bacon. The breakfast was very good too. Well worth a visit.

This was my third visit in three years. First alone, then with my beautiful young wife, and this month with both the aforementioned young bride and our adult daughter. The location is wonderful overlooking the fabulous Rhine River and it's traffic as well as the forested hills above Linz am Rhein on the opposite bank. We stayed there only for one night, it was a nice place and we only paid because it’s close to the Rhine river. first, they forgot to put a pillow in our room then I told them and they gave us one! The room wasn’t aesthetically pleasing though we couldn’t see the Rhine but it was ok only for one night to rest. Next time I’ll pay extra to have the front room to see the Rhine otherwise there is no point...

The hotel is located along the river Rhine with stunning views, in walking distance (around 100 meters) from the ferry to Linz. The rooms are pretty basic, the bathroom is very good. Very friendly staff. The best is the breakfast at the terrace.

Nice but small room with everything you need. Tasty breakfast, very good bread. For people on bikes or walkin' it is situated opposite the city of Kripp, 3 km from Remagen centre.

I was traveling through Germany for a week, it was hard to communicate I am not German. What a wonderful surprise at this hotel! Four language speaking waiter !! You have no idea how to gossip well after a week of silence. If you like schnitzels or schnitzels, I recommend this place ;-)

Really nice clean hotel with friendly helpful staff and a great view of the Rhine. It has a great path across the road for a scenic run that felt safe & pleasant. We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was 10/10. I would definitely recommend and will be booking again.

A lovely hotel to stay in it is very accessable, its got easy parking and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. If u want a nice break away i would reccomend it. You can also take the ferry to visit the old town of rhein which has some beautiful old buildings. (Views to die for).

Rating Restaurant Unique Location. Directly on the banks of the Rhine. During Sunny weather, eat on the terrace and flowing vessels look. However, the range of Food is not particularly. Pizza, Pasta, Schnitzel, etc. Gaffel Kölsch vom Fass. Waiter is nice. The toilet room is maintained. Accounting for salad, Pizza and Kölsch (0,3) approx. 12-14€ p. P.

Excellent hotel, very friendly, stayed before as a group, this time on our own. Front rooms face station, but not a huge problem. Breakfast could do with some fruit otherwise continental and basic. No tea facilities so if you fancy a cuppa bring a kettle etc..

We have been going to the hotel for a long time and we have enjoyed the food and relaxing time with the place we are in a place where people can go and relax .A good place to get to see a lot of different Christmas markets in 5 days we have visited 8 of them.

I stayed twice at The Pinger in May on my outward and return journeys by train from Edinburgh to Slovakia. I am an 'Eisenbahnfreund' and The Pinger is ideally situated on a very busy railway and adjacent to the station. What more could I ask for. The room was comfortable and I will probably be staying there again in September.

I stayed at the StadtHotel Arte during a stay in Remagen for a surgery. The hotel was just what I needed. Walking distance to the hospital, pharmacy and restaurants. The staff spoke English very well and were very friendly. And the hotel was super quiet!!

Read-only priced accommodation facing the railways station in Bad Neuenahr. Very adequate room , clean and quiet. Splendid breakfast area. One of the few hotels available after the floodings catastrophe. I was on visit from Melbourne Australia.

Lovely hotel - doesn't look like much from the outside, but really opens up inside in a very welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is a cosy, shared room available for guests, where you can buy and drink good wines from the valley. Breakfast is beatifully arranged, and the location is super practical. We will be back!

Fantastic pool and spa area!! More than makes up for bad wifi and no AC. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Beware google maps navigation has the entrance on the opposite site of the street. Easy walk into the center of town across the street.

This place is mostly frequented by an elderly patronage,like most places in this town. The hotel is OK, but everything is a bit old. My room was also in need of renovation, the bathroom installation were all in working condition, but certainly more than 20 years old.

Nice clean hotel with decent sized rooms and facilities. The hotel has a peacefull vibe with friendly hosts that clearly enjoy their work. They offer all you need for a good breakfast and there are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner.

We stayed at the Hotel Mietz at the weekend. The room, very spacious, clean and equipped with a new bathroom. We slept very well, the rooms are very quiet. Nothing was missing at breakfast. The staff is very friendly, we even got an extra boiled egg. We felt very comfortable. We can highly recommend the hotel!

Das Hotel Fürstenberg ist schon geöffnet, das Restaurant wird noch renoviert. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, parken hinter dem Haus war super. Es gibt mangels Restaurant im Moment noch kein Frühstück, aber 50 m entfernt ist eine sehr gute Bäckerei. Die Zimmer sind groß, uns hat es gut gefallen.

Super friendly staff and you felt like family (especially the breakfast in your room). A great starting point for a stop for a leisurely hike. The rooms are clean but a bit old, but the price/performance ratio is right. And if you accidentally leave something valuable, it will find its way home. We decided on this house for a very short planned bike tour along the Ahr. The booking by phone (conversation with the senior manager) was immediately confirmed by email. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the junior. Our bicycles found a safe place in the lockable courtyard of the hotel. Our room with balcony and view of the Ahr promenade was very spacious, comfortable and extremely clean....

Its a very beautiful property located at a very nice location just facing the Rhine river. The top floor panoramic restaurant has an amazing view with good food and drink options.
