Hotel Schillingshof

A very comfortable hotel, friendly staff, relatively spacious rooms, good breakfast. Only disappointment was dinner. We were on a package for the Passionspeil and dinner the night before was a set menu that was the worst meal we’ve ever had in a hotel! Cooked hours before and inedible.

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed some spa and wellness. The wellness area is beautiful and I felt very comfortable there. The massage at the hotel was excellent and super relaxing. The food was excellent, including breakfast. The rooms are nice too. There is a lot to do in the area and you can go on great hikes directly from the hotel. The mountain railway is directly opposite.

I stayed there for a week with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary. It was very worth it. The rooms were really cozy. We personally had a beautiful valley view, which you could really enjoy from the balcony. The hotel staff was always friendly and courteous. You always felt at home. Breakfast very easy, cool and casual in the morning, apart from the great selection, and very chic and sophisticated in the evening, with a really high quality kitchen. The wellness area was very nice. The pool totally enchanted me personally. The view of the valley from the water is breathtaking. The bar was always open for an after dinner drink. All in all, it is very close to people there, almost like a family. Already after the first day, it was noticed how we prefer to drink our pot of coffee and it was ready when we came to the table. The nice staff at the bar also quickly noticed that we simply love their Virgin Caipirinha, or as one of the staff called it: "unleaded" ^^. The boss was also very close to people and kept making his rounds at the dinner table, asking if everything was ok and giving great tips. Thanks to him, I discovered Murnau and its great Staffelsee, especially the local confectionery café "Krönner". The hotel and the place offer a lot of great opportunities to get away from it all and in my opinion is IDEAL for a couple's vacation. Keep it up!

We had a short but very nice stay at the Schillingshof. Very friendly and attentive staff in all areas, really great kitchen - we ate excellently and the eye eats too! Very nice and large swimming pool and sauna area. From the swimming pool with the large panoramic window you have a great view. Especially when the sun goes down very atmospheric! Perfect to switch off and relax. Thank you for everything, dear Schillingshof team, we felt very comfortable!

The Hotel Schillingshof proved a good base for our stay in the area to see the Passion Play. Our room was clean, quiet, and everything worked well and we enjoyed the daily maid service. The hotel pool is lovely with gorgeous views . The breakfast buffet was one of the best. We had dinner at the hotel one night and the food was very good, the service however felt rushed and our server left the impression that we were a bother. I was surprised that I couldn't pay for dinner with a credit card but had to pay with cash.

Stayed here two nights. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and had a private outdoor balcony. Breakfast was included and was a nice buffet. We had dinner one night and it was fresh and tasty! Indoor parking was available for a small fee, or free parking outdoors in on-site location. I'd love to stay here again sometime and enjoy the surrounding outdoor activities!

This hotel was fantastic! The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean. The food was well prepared and delicious. The staff were also still very aware of covid and took precautions.

Classic Bavaria. Offers a lot in terms of pool, workout room, game room, reading area, etc. Quality service as well.
