Hotel Maximilian

We served schinitzel but it came 1 hour and 15 minutes later. We asked our meals and service-man joked about the service. I didn’t like his unprofessional behavior. Also meals was very expensive. Don’t worth it. I won’t come again.

Food was delicious which is the only reason I gave a few stars. We had the roasted whole trout and the pork with crispy skin. The restaurant had great reviews so we were excited to try it, even though we were not staying at the hotel. Unfortunately, the service was the absolute worst we have experienced on our trip. We were served drinks, then our food arrived, and we didn’t even have any silverware or a napkin. the waitress that took our order was not the same person that delivered our food. And, we were never checked on again, after cutlery was delivered! We ran out of drinks, finished our meals and still no one came by once. We would have ordered more drinks, but no one came. The pork could have used a sharper knife, but no one came by. After we finished (at least 40 minutes later) we sat with our plates in front of us for another 15 minutes at least. We talked about ordering dessert, but it was impossible to get attention from anyone! I finally had to go up to the bar to ask for our bill. A manager (gentleman who seemed to be in charge) was talking with a woman at the cash and I had to interrupt them to ask for our bill. I mentioned we would have loved more drinks and hoped to order dessert but that at this point we just wanted our bill. The cash girl came over (still no one even cleared our dinner plates!) and we paid and left. Don’t sit on the patio, because you will be totally ignored!
