Good rooms - only challenge was that mine only had a single window, so limited cross ventilation. However in the summers they provided a standing fan, that was helpful. The service was good. Beautiful property in old Bamberg. Located in the heart of the historic district. Michelin star winning property is a guaranteed good stay. Comfortable and clean rooms. The service is always outstanding. The food is also fantastic. If nothing else, come for the Bavarian style breakfast and relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel has a new side and an older side. I think AC is only on the new side. There is a spa/gym in there basement limited to an exercise bike, a treadmill, and a very nice sauna. Close to the old town. Good sized room. Shower-bath. Air conditioning and lift. Close to the bus station. Very comfortable bed (but unfortunately it squeaked). Refrigerator.

The AC in the room wasn't working even though the unit had just been remodeled. Guests are not able to lower the temperature.

We stayed over the weekend its very busy and our room overlooked the front where there is a Brau haus so was a bit noisy, not the hotels fault. Great spa hotel with the BEST breakfast buffet EVER!! The spa was also great. Nothing like leaving your room in a bathrobe and walking to a HUGE spa with everything you need. The only downside is the bar. It is VERY small and understaffed.

It is a good place to stay because is near to center, my room was very quite. In case of a next trip in this city, I will choose this hotel definitely. It seems strange for me the opening way of the doors. Seem unsafe because you can hit someone if he/she is passing on the hall when you open the door.

Hotel receptionists are very nice and helpful, but the facilities are not doing well. My first night was so hard since the room was like a furniture. I had to attend a business meeting with 0 hour sleep since the air conditioning did not work. I reported this the day after and the receptionists took an immediate action.

The hotel is not big. After arriving at the hotel in the afternoon, we waited until the check-in time but were not able to check in immediately. The room was not ready yet. Cheap rooms and very modern. A car is a must to arrive, but it's very close to the Puma and Adidas factories so ideal if you want to shop there. We stayed there as a stopover for a long journey and were impressed by their Suite room.

Best buffet breakfast I have ever had in hotels

The first impression was very good. The reception was very friendly and the whole team was extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms were also very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was completely sufficient and very tasty. The evening menu was always fresh and also very tasty. Even if we had to change something, it was no problem.

Friendly people, cozy rooms, excellent food and an outstanding location - all one can wish for. The location is the perfect trail head for a nice short, medium or really long walk; and afterwards a well-executed massage will prepare you for dinner, which was fantastic as well.

We spent a long weekend at the Stempferhof with 3 families and 3 grandchildren. We all really enjoyed it, everything was perfect, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very large, we had a superior double room. The breakfast was varied and the dinner was very good. We will definitely come back. The beautiful terrace is currently being finished.

The Stempferhof is quietly located on the outskirts of Gößweinstein. The town center is easy to reach on foot. The staff is friendly and competent. At the same time, the Stempferhof is suffering from a shortage of staff, which is currently plaguing the entire restaurant and hotel industry. However, there were some spider webs between wardrobe cabinet and wall. Pillowcases were clean, but pillow stuffings were old and smelly. They charge for parking 4 Euros? This is crazy considered in the industrial area. For breakfast 14,9 EUR/person? it’s really too much. Rooms clean and bright. Stuff OK.

I had stayed here for a month. I would not recommend this hotel. The facilities were not up to the mark for the exorbitant price they charging. Receptionists were friendly and helping. Wifi speed was good. If you have no other options in Erlangen, then only go for it.
