Amazing hotel, at the beach promenade, with big ADD (with good food, quality and breakfast choice), super health and wellness, indoor pool and big Spa (including big beauty saloon and various applications).
Best and only rooftop bar with life music … must visit !
Nice outdoor culinary venues and along many Private Palace Hotels food & beverage outlets along the promenade.

Binz 2019
A lovely destination with lots to see around or just to lie on the fantastic beach. We usually try to stay at the Arkona Strandhotel as it fulfills our wishes and is right on the beach, in addition it is walking distance to most things

Staff is friendly and location is amazing. The breakfast is plentiful und nice. The spa area is nice but rather small.
The hotel itself is rather old and quite dirty in the common areas. The room was okay and had a nice little balcony but also not the super clean.
Unfortunately we had bed bugs. We immediately got a reduction without any problems so there is at least that.
Be sure to check whether they added the usage of the garage on your tab (they did with us although we came by train )

Great room and location but the cleaning is not real, they don’t really clean the rooms or change the sheets and no vacuuming so the rooms will get sandy even if you ask for cleaning they don’t do it properly and no vacuuming! Small pool but okay also The sauna and pool is kind of dated!

Worst stay I have ever had.
I have booked double room for 2 nights for 350€ ! In description stays Wellness , SPA, Saunas. By the fact I have booked just a room for that price, no one informed me before stay that I can not use these facilities! But they are available to book online!
By the way they write about 4 - 5 stars, but in real it is MAX 3* hotel. Old cracking sofa inthe room, Double bed all time transformates in 2 single beds putted together and no bed fixator for it at all.
In bathroom a lot of sand and someones hairs...
I have asked for another room on reception desk, she told me that I can pay 250 € more and get another room! Such a shame! 250 EUROS EXTRA!

Terrible internet. Poor selection for breakfast, front desk was not helpful at all!
No manager available for discussion. Linen and towels had blood spots and used like 10 years in a row .
Overall terrible experience and would not ever return or recommend this hotel to anyone.
Save your time and find another place.

Arkona Sky Bar on the rooftop is only bright spot in this trip!

It seems that this hotel was build during the 70s and hasn't developed too much since then which is typical in this part of the island

The rooftop bar is very nice, it is decorated in style and has sea views. The personnel is really friendly. Definitely the place to be in Binz.

Very bad comunication.We booked room
via booking.com with sea view .They gave us room
on the ground floor open to the street.Was not able to open window in the night.Never coming back.

Lived at Arkona Strandrecidenzen connected to the hotel and only had the breakfast buffet here every morning for a week. It was great!!! We enjoyed it very much. It must be said that the personal here is some of the most friendly and helpfull we have ever experienced!! Thanks for making the beginning of our days great🌹

They host the AFD. Breakfast is good. Rooms are too hot and noisy. In addition there is no AC, so one has to leave the door open almost the whole night to be able to sleep. The curtains are old and dirty, and don't block hardly any light. The rooms are overall old and dirty (carpet is very dirty). The pillows we got shouldn't be called pillows as they were very thin and old (we asked for two additional and these were good. so if they have good pillows why put the bad ones out by default?) Cocktails in the bar are pricey and the worst I had in a long time. Staff is so so - some are okay, some are almost rude. It's the beach and location that makes the holiday nice.
