The location is great, walking distance to everywhere in the city, also close to museum and a large park. The food is so great in the hotel restaurant, ‘today’s menu’ is quite a good option.

Everything is very good, especially the apartment. You can cook your own food. It is very cost-effective and the neighborhood is very quiet.

I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum. The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast. I can guarantee that i will be staying religiously now for many years to come

After a long drive from Calais, I was pleasantly pleased to pull up the hotel. Very friendly lady on reception quickly booked me in. My room is spotlessly clean but not modern but I'd prefer clean over modern and dirty every day. The restaurant was busy but squeezed me in to a very tasty meal with a waitress helping to translate the menu into English. Come and stay and not be disappointed

Just as the first Time we came into the room, surprised us the most is the cleanliness. Especially in the bathroom it was really excellent. Great place to stay! We stopped here for a night last weekend along our bicycle tour and were well impressed. The rooms are big and modernly equipped. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is excellent and staff is friendly and quick.

Position of a hotel is very good, if one is comming with a car. I think that a rooms are small, withouth a desk, where one can put his laptop to work or to read (book, newspaper or something else). We stayed here for 4 nights and it’s a lovely hotel. Each and every staff is helpful felt like home. The only disadvantage is that it’s far from the central station. I have been a guest at this hotel for years and have always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, that has changed. The rooms are still OK, but some are pretty worn out. Breakfast is overpriced for the service! And the price shown when booking is not the final price, there is also 10% accommodation tax! You might as well include that! Parking costs money too, but half the parking lot is full of junk cars...

Cheap Hotel, slept for a night after a concert there. The room was OK, Breakfast we found a bit expensive. But there are good Alternatives in the city. Beautiful, the proximity to the train station and the free Ticket is.

I recently stayed here for a week and have to say that the staff here are AMAZING!!! Ute was especially helpful. The full breakfast buffet is really good with lots of choice. I will miss the coffee. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable allowing for a good night's sleep.

Very quiet hotel, the rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet is very good, could be less pork and more poultry sausage for those who do not eat pork. The night staff is very helpful when needed. I'll be back next weekend.

This hotel is situated on a favorable location for people who want to have access to public transport (central train and buss station Gelsenkirchen), stopping mails and the Gelsenkirchen city centre. Conveniently located next to Bochum's train station, the hotel offers nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Breakfast is excellent. You can use the hotel parking for 23€ or use the near by underground city garage at a 1.6€ an hour or 14€ a day. There are a lot of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommended if you need to stay in the area.
