It's a great hotel. Good sized rooms and bathrooms. Nice and quiet. There is a gym on the 2nd floor, mainly cardio machines. Breakfast had a good choice. No food in the evening, which is a shame. It does a few snacks but no dinner menu.

Very quiet hotel on a public transit route, not far from the main train station. Check in is via screen with a virtual assistant. The hotel values conservation efforts, so hall lights are automated, and everything is digital, so there is no paper waste. The lobby is modern and appealing. Ice cream available for purchase, and there is a foosball table in the lobby. Everything was very clean.

I recently stayed at a GHOTEL in Bochum for a business trip. The rooms were well-maintained and cleanliness was upheld. Additionally, the self check-in process was efficient and straightforward.

Lovley Hotel- couldn't fault it. Nice location - you can take a tram to town that take 5 minutes. Nice toom and modern bathroom. We requested a cot for my daughter and it was not a problem to get it sorted.

Very basic - but expensive - stay. The room was clean but very small and a bit worn. The bathroom was VERY small eg. you could not sit on the toilet without your knees were hitting the wall. Not so expensive hotel very close to the Bochum station. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is surprisingly quite ok for a hotel of this category. If you are not expecting a big room and only stay for a few nights it's definitely a recommendation.

I was positively surprised by this hotel. The receptionists were very friendly, everything was well furnished and decorated. Inexpensive hotel with big clean rooms (62 €) . nice breakfast with wide range of food for 14 € and an own garage for 8 €. Small garage with small parking places and to me a good chance to damage the car ... the garage is the only negative part of the hotel . for the rest, price quality very ok 👌

Conveniently located next to Bochum's train station, the hotel offers nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Breakfast is excellent. You can use the hotel parking for 23€ or use the near by underground city garage at a 1.6€ an hour or 14€ a day. There are a lot of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommended if you need to stay in the area.

Nice rooms and friendly staff. If you stay longer than two days, you have to ask for cleaning, if you want it every day. The restaurant has a nice furnishing and an attentive staff (when it is not a soccer game on television) but the food is poor.

4 star? Well, I think someone was playing a bit fast and loose with giving out stars! In my view, a 3 star would be a more accurate reflection: No room safe, No fridge/minibar, No drawers (just shelves), No room service menu or hotel guide, No bellboy, No signage of how to pull up in front of the hotel, a bar that doesn't open until 16:30, so no lunchtime drink and an bathroom that could do with modernisation...

Can no longer confirm the negative reviews. All employees were very nice and tried hard, so you can turn a blind eye if not all processes run as fast as you would like them to be. The rooms were clean, the food was plentiful and tasty and the coffee machines worked, and there was also filter coffee at the table.

The hotel is okay, the rooms are clean and the professionals do their best. It didn't deserve these bad reviews. The hotel guests should rather work on their behavior towards other people.

Good enough hotel for the Bochum-Wattenscheid business area. Nothing particularly special about it. Rooms are a little on the small side and don't have a power outlet near the bed, so you can't charge your devices and have them readily available overnight. Service was nice and the buffet was ok.

The 2nd time you were there. This time with children in the family room. As always, friendly. Breakfast buffet is large, varied and always replenished when it is empty. THE ONLY thing is not to find fault, if one says in a Restaurant, you want to the children to eat beforehand (as is usual) waiting for the children for a very long time or until the is brought by the adults.

The TRYP HOTEL is a 3-star category, the rooms are accurate and clean, it smells fresh and makes you feel at ease in the comfort that one receives. The staff is friendly, well dressed and courteous. You will feel in good hands as soon as you enter the Hotel.

I remember this Hotel, had stayed here a few years ago when I went for Drupa, my stay comfortable, Nice and Happy, they have a nice bar and lovely environment, beautifull surroundings, Ruhur Park A very hugh and a large area for shopping/movies etc is very near to the hotel.

Really nice hotel. The rooms are a bit older but can't say anything wrong with them. Hotel has a large sauna area and is also right next a large shopping centre. There is also free parking which is a big plus.

Great place to stay! We stopped here for a night last weekend along our bicycle tour and were well impressed. The rooms are big and modernly equipped. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is excellent and staff is friendly and quick.

My best stay at a youth hostel so far. The rooms only hold four beds making it easier to rest and get along. The hostel is close to a lidl to get yourself some food, even though its proximity to a frequented place for people to hang out may make it a bit noisy in the summer. The room was really clean. Each room has its own shower room and toilet. The staffs are really helpful. The breakfast had a lot of varieties and tasted good. And the cost was included in the payment for the room.

WiFi does not cover the entire facility, some rooms are very tiny specially with six persons in there. WC are tiny and are together with toilet and shower. The food is very good for the place and the most valuable there is the staff who is very nice and lovely people

I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum. The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast. I can guarantee that i will be staying religiously now for many years to come

Stayed there for about a week, loved this place! Very conveniently located with both side entries from the Viktoriastraße and the Bermuda Triangle, walkable from Bochum Hauptbahnhaf. Neatly minimally decorated rooms with everything exactly where they should be, in a white peaceful colour scheme. The cafe/restaurant downstairs is great, they serve fantastic breakfast! The entry can be a bit confusing...

Never stayed here but spent a few hours at the bar, which is also the reception. Friendly service and good beer, can recommend the local Bernstein beer.

I visited at a sunny Friday morning for breakfast. The service was fast and friendly, we got to choose where to sit, the food was reasonably priced for beeing extremely tasty and the overall atmosphere was relaxed.

All in all, it was a nice stay, just a window on tilt in the first floor is to be recommended remains to be. The surrounding businesses have the To and exhaust air from the kitchen to the same height. Constant watering and zip. Nice staff, the only thing I missed is a shower/Shampoo
