Where to stay in Bochum

The location is great, walking distance to everywhere in the city, also close to museum and a large park. The food is so great in the hotel restaurant, ‘today’s menu’ is quite a good option.

Everything is very good, especially the apartment. You can cook your own food. It is very cost-effective and the neighborhood is very quiet.

Conveniently located next to Bochum's train station, the hotel offers nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Breakfast is excellent. You can use the hotel parking for 23€ or use the near by underground city garage at a 1.6€ an hour or 14€ a day. There are a lot of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommended if you need to stay in the area.

Good hotel in centre of Bochum. We've been there for one night and all was good. Worker in reception can speak English. Rooms are clear but one thing that didn't satisfied us that was size of bathroom, it was too small and I think if closet was not so huge it has more space for bathroom. Parking is available for 9€ per day which is great for anyone traveling from out of town with a car and need a parking space while out and about on the public transport. Very basic - but expensive - stay. The room was clean but very small and a bit worn. The bathroom was VERY small eg. you could not sit on the toilet without your knees were hitting the wall. The service at the hotel was perfect. The receptionist could answer all my question to my satisfaction. The check-in was pretty fast. The Hotel is situated very close to my working place. Therefore I could save a lot of time to and from the hotel.

One good reason to stay here is if you're looking for a reasonable price of hotel with super easy access to Bochum Hauptbahnhof and easy to get food around and close to the Bochum City Center where you can find some shopping centers. Even though the position is rather difficult when it comes to sound levels during night time it's very clean and the staff friendly.

I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum. The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast. I can guarantee that i will be staying religiously now for many years to come

I stayed just on night, passing through from Spain. Liked the room (62, single room) with its organic shapes and round window in the bathroom. The shower head had lights in it that changes with water temperature (I think). I found everything very clean.

We spent the weekend in the Starlight Express, very friendly welcome, clean room, breakfast everything was available, vending machine in the hallway, shortcoming the vending machine only accepts small change Express is only a quarter of an hour, we can recommend it.

After a long drive from Calais, I was pleasantly pleased to pull up the hotel. Very friendly lady on reception quickly booked me in. My room is spotlessly clean but not modern but I'd prefer clean over modern and dirty every day. The restaurant was busy but squeezed me in to a very tasty meal with a waitress helping to translate the menu into English. Come and stay and not be disappointed

Just as the first Time we came into the room, surprised us the most is the cleanliness. Especially in the bathroom it was really excellent. We were surprised about the competence at the front Desk was also positive that was us when Logging on to the Wi-Fi quick assist. We were together for 1 night (23.07.16) in this Hotel and were very impressed! Very quiet and well maintained location of the hotel!! Spacious and modern rooms. Also, a nice and modern bathroom. The Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. The price for the double room, incl. To second Breakfast, was 93 euros, which is cheap, but adequate. Back for more ;-)

The hotel is very close to the railway station. It is is quite new (2 years old now), rooms are very modern and clean. The staff was helpful, but please remember that reception closes at 20. Of course there is a wifi connection all over the place

Great place to stay! We stopped here for a night last weekend along our bicycle tour and were well impressed. The rooms are big and modernly equipped. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is excellent and staff is friendly and quick.
