The shower was really uncomfortable; I had to keep pressing it for the water to come out (maybe I was using it wrong). But the location is pretty good, right in the west-central part of the city. Would it be more expensive during cherry blossom season? The window faces a children's playground, which is a bit noisy during the day and not ideal for naps. The bed sheet was funny. I noticed a hole...
The location of the hostel is a bit scary. So, the way to the hostel in the evening was scary. The check-in time was so, so slow. I arrived 10 minutes before the check-in time, but I was only able to check in after 30 minutes.
Really nice, very clean, people are very polite
hostelin yeri şehire biraz uzak ve hostelde resepsiyonda kimse yoktu. Bir sorun olduğunda muhattap olarak ilgili kimse yoktu.
Booked a single room and it was clean and a good size. Decent shared area too and plenty of showers / toilets.
There is need to improve on the check in times . I ended up not checking in because my flight was delayed and they insisted that checking in time was between 4pm - 7 pm . I ended up booking elsewhere to cater for my flight that was landing around 9 pm .

I've been to lots of hostels and hotels in words , this one was one of the most pleasant stays I've had. The room was soo cosy and the bed and walls and floors were so clean. Nice bar downstairs also clean and cosy. The English speaking lady Nikol ,( who I thought was the owner) was very friendly and was pleased to answer any questions. Although I planed to stay towards the center next time .. I...
Well, since it's a hostel it was okay for me. It's not a hotel. I had a clean room and bed. TV was there and it was working. However since there were multiple rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom it was loud. Bathroom looked worn down. In the morning it was always in use and therefore I had to use the kitchen sink. All in all, it was o...kay.
Terrible rooms but wonderfull food. If you have hard sleep and thongs to bathroom its enought to live.
Affordable hostel for travellers with shared bathrooms. Bar with restaurant. Serene place and just 20 meters from train station
This hostel is OK, I was staying here with 3 friends for the gamescom 2013 trade fair and we had to pay 150 euros each person for 6 nights, which is really overpriced but a decent price because all the hotels in the area of Cologne raised their prices before gamescom took place. The bedrooms were fine, one double bed room was on the 2nd floor of 1 side of the building and the other was in the basement...

Stood for 2 nights on a room with 4 beds and was really good. The room and toilet is very clean, comfortable beds and well organized. There is also a nice and relatively large space y the reception for socializing, playing some games and cook something. definitely recommend this hostel
A lovely and friendly hostel. So cool there are an arcade and Nintendo games in the common space. You can have free tea and coffee in the kitchen, though some kinds of coffee charge €0,50. The only problem I met was that there was no hot water around 00:00 so I could only took a cool bath.
Very nice place to stay! An Owner is really kind, there were no problems with storing our suitcases before checkin time, rooms are clean, the location is really good and price is really fine! Honestly, one of the best hostel in Köln. Thank you!
Very recommended. I booked here for the gamescom days. It was the cheapest and it is only five to ten minutes walking distance to the event. It is managed by a single person only and it shows everywhere the love he has put to his hostel. Everything is clean, the carpets are new and not millions of years old. There's a small kitchen where you can have free coffee and then you have to clean your glass...
The hostel was a very good one, it has a good atmosphere, the staff was friendly, it had a kitchen so it was easy to cook your food and some money. The location was very good being 20 minutes to the cathedral. All in all a very pleasant experience. Would come back again!
Great hostel with very kind service and warm atmosphere :)

Self-service entry, excellent central location, neat simple room and bathroom. Beware: no lift, narrow stairs to the rooms, in my case 60 steps up.
Clean, a little dated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Biggest issue was a delay in receiving our check-in code.
Friendly staff and daily cleaning. Hot water and heating is good. Location is pretty good close to the center. However the pillows are very old and not so comfortable. Wifi is pretty bad with interruptions
Perfect for just a place to sleep Very sweet little room we had to twins. Storage is good 2 wardrobes to share stuff. All very clean and beds were comfy. Check I in very easy they just give you a code for keys. Bathroom was clean however it was very small and no shower curtain or door so the floor got very wet and had to use our hand towels to mop it up leaving us with no fresh hand towels
Just what we needed, affordable and walkable to the Laxness arena. Window opens for air circulation, no A/C. We will return.
Decent, but average and small room Had no issues with my stay, but the room was average and small which was good enough for me.

Very central location - comfy beds - good breakfast! Ideal if you want to rest or party! Everything is close by - highly recommended
I only have good things to say about this hostel. Very warm reception and basically in the city center.
Clean. Modern room. Bright. A lot of windows. It's in the city center (pro and con) so if you open the window it can be noisy (restaurant, motorcycle, police - windows have a good noise cancelling. Friendly. Breakfast is sufficient. Kids friendly. No air-condition. Nice terrace. Visited in spring. Nothing to complain about.
Simply the best!! 5 stars deserving without a single star!! Perfect location and very friendly, dynamic young team. Indeed a home for a short sojourn. Keep it up!!
Very well situated and the employees were very friendly and helpful.
It was very nice and was very cheap for the location. The only disadvantage is that its very warm with a group in the group.

If you're passing through Colonia, this is a good accommodation option. About 20 minutes from the central station, this hostel has all the necessary amenities. The only downside for me is the lack of air conditioning, which makes it unbearable to sleep in during the hot season, although the fan helps a little. The shared bathrooms were always clean, and they provide towels. As a guest, you get a 1...
Such a great spot would heavily recommend. The rooms were so comfortable and the beds where way bigger than any other hostel Ive stayed in. The bar downstairs is lovely and the whole area around it was great. Staff was super friendly and the whole vibe of the place was great.
Really comfortable, clean and secure. My first solo travel experience and I was anxious about how secure my belongings would be. I couldn't have been happier with the accommodation. For such a popular and busy bar, noise was relatively nonexistent.
I only stayed one short night in that hostel but I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. I booked a dorm in the ballroom one, women only, the booth was great. Comfy and very large bed for one person, tablet/light/plug for the phone, everything I needed once I was up there. I could put my valued belongigs in a closed locker which was really appreciated. The key in the lift to the hostel was given...
I stayed here for 5 nights as a base to explore Cologne and Dusseldorf and Aachen and Trier. It was just relaxing, the beds were nicely partitioned and comfortable, reception staff were very welcoming, the location itself is in a nice neighbourhood and a short ride away on public transport from the city centre, there's a little convenience store a few doors down to buy beers and basic goods, and also...

Very nice hostel, very clean, big rooms, big lockers, staff is exceptional, very polite and helpful, exceeded all my expectations
so far the city center, is clean, with nice workers, breakfast was 5 euros and the perfect way for the metro station was so close if you wish to go Leverkusen or your other route.
Everything was great!! The rooms are comfy, with individual lights and power plugs, I was in a four bed room. The receptionists are all very friendly and willing to help! Being abke to leave food in the fridge was a very big advantage! And the lockers In the rooms are very big and comfy. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen is very spacious and clean as well. The hostel looks amazing! I'd definitely...
Had a one night stay at the hostel and the experience was great. It’s located right next to The Central station so it’s very easy to reach. The kitchen and the common areas are huge. And I like that the room has its own showers and bathrooms. However, the wifi connectivity should be improved.
Very good hostel with good prices. Nice location: all sights and Railway station are near (5-10 min by feet). Staff is friendly and helpful, good service. Rooms and linens are very clean. Comfortable beds. There is a kitchen there where you can cook. You must pay for the towels if you need it.
Pathpoint Cologne Backpacker Hostel is really close to the train station (hardly 5 minutes walking). We stayed at the hostel for 2 nights & it was great. Big rooms, high ceilings, amazing breakfast & helpful staff. The most famous Cologne Cathedral is just 10 mins away from the hostel

Stayed here 3 nights with a school group. Close to public transit with frequent rides to the city centre, and very near the zoo. Breakfast was adequate with small selection of cereals bread jam hams and cheeses, evening meals were quite good with only 1 option but a very well stocked self serve salad bar. Room for 5 was quite large and all the beds were plenty big enough for a grown man. Room itself...
Beds are comfortable and clean (but you have to make them yourself), breakfast is ok, good vending machines and chargers next to every bed! Overall a very nice stay.
We used the hostel as part of a school trip, for breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
The food was great, the beds were kind of thin but not so that they prevented sleep from occurring naturally. Overall great experience.
Came with a school group. Rooms are fine, bunk beds for students, small toilet and shower room in bedroom. Clean and close enough to the centre of Cologne. Breakfast is typical German fare and good choice. Evening meals were very poor, small portions and no choice. First night was nuggets and chips in quantities sufficient for a small child and the salad bar was nearly empty. Catering staff were most...
The place is clean and organized. There's only WiFi on the ground floor which was a little inconvenient. It is a 45 minutes walk from the train station and a 10 minute cat ride. There is a train stop near by that is very convenient. I am enjoying my stay here.

Good rooms, comfortable beds. Polite people in the reception. I don't know german and they really helped me settle in. Definitely coming back again.
We only stayed for one night and had a great experience overall. The hostel is well connected to the city centre via the underground. Our checking was quick and the staff was really friendly. We even got a little map of Cologne centre and towels for free! We sadly didn’t get to try the hostel’s café/bar as we only stayed for one night, but the atmosphere seemed great and there was even live music!...
The food and drinks are good, the majority of the staff is very warm and welcoming too, but they are not really good at what they do: being waiters. Some of the waiters though are not only bad at their job, but also unfriendly and mean.
Very unusual hostel, where you have to enter through gift shop the bar. Really good staff, cool bar with nice music and environment. Rooms are clean. It was very nice to see bad sheets to put on place and I don't have to arrange them (hate it sometimes). Area is quite calm and nice.
After many challenges travelling, I finally arrived to this place where the food, environment, and people are warm. It is clean, safe, comfy, and serves a damn good selection of vegan foods and desserts, and offers delicious selection of coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The establishment is nice and well-kept, and all food is made in house. Beds are comfortable and for a hostel it is quite...
Laid back, cozy coffeshop. Basic but yummy breakfasts. Super nice staff. Great neighborhood vibe.

Location is very close to U-Bahn. Bathroom is very clean. The locker box is huge and comes with a key (for €10 deposit). Staff very kind and helpful. Comes with nice kitchen, free coffee & tea, free washing machine for usage.
The hostel feels like home. The person who received us was really kind. We slept perfectly. I recommend the place 100%
Quaint hostel located near a good public transport line. Beds were clean and already made, room didn't have bunk beds. Plenty of sockets, chest with lock was included with the price. Free breakfast was simple but sufficed. Calm, easy going place that is perfect for small groups looking for a clean and friendly place to stay. Bathrooms were spotless.
Quiet hostel with low prices. You can buy your own food to cook with in the kitchen. Definitely not a party hostel, it's good to follow the rules here and not make too much noise after 10:00pm (22h). Owner has a very extensive record collection and he will let you play some records in the cozy living room. He has traveled a lot and you can see his destinations from the map on the wall.
Under one is what nasty things you did not know, but precise information is not seemed like. How old of feel bad for him that I wondered. That plain to see and the fact worrying to come from cozy and clean. Even the bonus part of this is friendly if not what kind and do? No extra fee Breakfast can be solved and lock. In the kitchen, cook a can and some tools. Wifi is a bit weak to disadvantages but...
Nice and clean Hostel with a kitchen ( so you can use the fridge and/or cook yourself if you like). Simple ( continental) breakfast and unlimited coffee and tea all day. By underground/metro only 15 minutes to te city centre.
