Where to stay in Bonn

Stay was pretty good but reception staff at night was pretty rude 😞. Like you are not native they will not talk to you in a good manner. I would always prefer maritim Bonn.

Really enjoyed our one night staycation there. Got updated rooms and had really nice and calming view there. Our son and parents really enjoyed staying there. Nice, fast and friendly services which sometime I did not get from 5 stars hotel. They deserve 5 stars services. Keep ur quality!!! Really recommend!

The staff is very helpful, good support and very good English communication. I usually stay in Maritim Bonn, but i’ve booked Königswinter recently and i did not regret it. The rooms are renovated and the location on Rhine bank is just perfect. It might be difficult to find a cab in the morning though, but the reception staff will go above and beyond to help you.

Amazing view and sidewalks next to the river. Ideal proximity to many restaurants, tram to Drachenfels ruins and castle. Convenient ferry stop few meters away crossing the Rhine to take you (including vehicles) to the other side. Covered parking right below the hotel with discount for clients. Conrad restaurant’s(sky bar) food was below below average. Old fashioned rooms. Low light. Restaurants close early, a few restaurants in surroundings. Bathroom shower is annoying. but staff was very good, which kept me good in sprits while I was at the hotel. Except Conrad restaurant’s staff, who i think was kind of manager.

The room and the gym are very clean, and the equipment is excellent. The view outside the window is wonderful,However, I find it hard to understand why the ceiling in the room is leaking. I called and was told that all the rooms are like this. As someone who has trouble sleeping, I am a bit disappointed.

We stayed at this hotel because it is fairly convenient to events in Bonn. the view from the room we had was spectacular of the river. We did have an issue with the blinds. They broke and would not close. The rooms were very clean and the restaurant on top of the hotel was very nice. I will stay here again.

It's not close to any outside restaurants or bars. One small tv in small lobby bar for Euros. No other bar has a tv. Rooftop bar has a great view. Breakfast good, dinner menu downstairs is limited. Rooms were hot. Club level way below other Marriott properties

We are very pleased with the accompanying facilities that the hotel offers such as swimming pool, sauna and fitness. Rooms with bathrooms are clean, modern and nicely decorated. The service is up to standard and the only small complaint is the speed of the internet but that is negligible. Anyway we'll be back here again. *****

Clean, comfortable, but we, unfortunately, got to repair and in the early morning there was a noise. The room window overlooked the open line of the metro which could be heard. But in General, very not bad.

Great Hotel with a magnificent Spa area which unfortunately opens late and closes at 9pm so that you can't use it after a long workday. The rooms are great but the technology for lights etc requires some getting used to. Even the most basic category of rooms can be considered luxurious (see Photos).

Nice rooms which are perfect for a few nights, everything is clean, spatious, and has a (somewhat outdated and artificial) sense of luxury to it. The open breakfast selection is nice for a few mornings, but the layout and space usage is not ideal, people tend to bump into each other.

We stayed there off season for a couple of nights, it was quiet and we used terrace swimming pool, which was heated. It was an unforgettable experience in hot pool, but very cold outside watching river. The architecture and colours of the hotel are quite vivid.

We booked a night here for the wellness area. Unfortunately the sauna we were looking forward to was not functional. Additionally, the wellness area was full of people who were either sick or very drunk and loud. It was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience. The room and breakfast were lovely. Great hotel. In a very good location, right in the city although in a very calm place right by the river. A free bar included in the room. Very clean & comfortable. Good water pressure in douche, clean bathroom. Parking under the hotel (18eur per 24h, which is quite cheap if you compare to other paid parkings). Strategically located near the motorway 59 between Cologne and Bonn, own parking lot at a daily charge. Clean und functional, but rather raddled in look and feel. Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet more on the underwhelming side; good coffee though. Good enough for some quick business trip, not so much for private pleasure.

It’s a nice hotel in Bonn. Quiet and not far from the local station. The Bonn city center is 20 mins from here. Rooms are cozy and have basic amenities. Staffs are friendly and courteous. Restaurant is on the ground floor, where you can enjoy your breakfast and dinner. You have also good options for breakfast. I enjoyed my stay here.

The rooms are what you expect from it, clean enough and a good size, bed a bit on the hard side. However, considering that we paid a significant amount for the breakfast we at least assumed everything would be available and restocked. The hotel is located exactly on the bank of the Rhine River. You get an amazing view from your hotel room balcony. I am sure you won't be able to stop yourself from going for a jog early morning as soon as you get up. It is at a walkable distance from the Bonn HBF train station and there are bus stops close by as well. The staff were super helpful. I loved their Creme Coffe and breakfast.

We bought early check in but when we arrived at 12:30pm, no room is ready. We went back at 15:30 for standard check in, no room is ready. I was looking for a central stay in Bonn. This place has been a good deal compared to other hotels in Bonn. However when entering the hotel lobby you can already see how old and badly maintained this place is. The rooms are okay in size and amenities, but the condition of literally everything is not good at all. The hotel staff is very friendly, but I will most likely not come back.

My short stay there was pleasant and the front desk staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located within the beautiful architectural and historical city of Bonn. You have easy walking access to parts of the city from there. Stores and food places within reach. The summer days are long and pleasant (gently warm) Twilight is between 9PM and 10PM.

Location great, facilities fine but despite being in the non-smoking wing and in a non-smoking room halfway down, the smell of stale smoke is so infused into the furniture that you cannot escape it. Even if you smoke, it is a little annoying.

Tante ALMA‘s is a very nice and Cosy place. Feels like home away from home. The staff has been very helpful and attend to you very well. I love that it’s situated very close to restaurants, markets, pharmacies, bars, printing shop, bakery, saloon. You literally walk for 200 metres and you have everything you Need. You also get to meet a lot of people from all over Europe.

From the hotel it takes about 40 minutes by train to reach the main train station of cologne and about 20 to get to the main station of bonn.

Nice hotel, ok rooms, small bathrooms, but thats Ibis Hotel way. Breakfast is good. Honestly can't complain about anything especially looking at the price. Only downside is maybe the location. But it is like 15mins walking to center. Bus directly towards CGN Airport right infront of hotel. (Not the case when you go from Airport to Hotel, you go off at diff station - about 8min walk)

It was like a military compound: everything was in place with max economic approach. For one night it is acceptable, but not for longer stay.

Actually, not bad. This is not a shiny place, and the location is quite outside so you need a reason to be there. The hotel is situated in the forest. It is very quiet and comfortable, Breakfast 5+. The hotel has a restaurant, the average check for two 50-70 euros. Everything is fine, only the wifi is not very stable and periodically retarding.

Decent spot with rather awful public transport and no freely usable gym. It's in a small forest, very peaceful.
