Where to stay in Bonn

The room and the gym are very clean, and the equipment is excellent. The view outside the window is wonderful,However, I find it hard to understand why the ceiling in the room is leaking. I called and was told that all the rooms are like this. As someone who has trouble sleeping, I am a bit disappointed.

Bonn Marriott Hotel is a hotel that we have visited several times before. The hotel is located next to the river and in a quiet area. It is a nice and clean hotel. We stayed at this hotel because it is fairly convenient to events in Bonn. the view from the room we had was spectacular of the river. We did have an issue with the blinds. They broke and would not close. The rooms were very clean and the restaurant on top of the hotel was very nice. I will stay here again.

It's not close to any outside restaurants or bars. One small tv in small lobby bar for Euros. No other bar has a tv. Rooftop bar has a great view. Breakfast good, dinner menu downstairs is limited. Rooms were hot. Club level way below other Marriott properties

A bit of a disappointment given that this is a major international chain. First impressions are good, of a large modern hotel. However on the upper floors the WiFi is very, very sporadic. The air conditioning also didn't seem to work, being on permanent heat. Breakfast was decidedly average - obvious use of powdered eggs. Good location, only 5 mins from the metro.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel - for a total of seven nights. I booked a junior suite, which I highly recommend as it is just a bit more for a very beautiful room with lovely river views. It’s a clean, slightly old fashioned hotel by the Rhine. Some of the rooms have nice river views. The reason for my lower rating is that there is little to no wifi reception in my room. Great hotel. In a very good location, right in the city although in a very calm place right by the river. A free bar included in the room. Very clean & comfortable. Good water pressure in douche, clean bathroom. Parking under the hotel (18eur per 24h, which is quite cheap if you compare to other paid parkings). Although breakfast is quite expensive (around 20-25 EUR per person).

It‘s located in the center and you have a lot of attractions nearby. The room was clean. Staffs were friendly. The beds were not comfortable. Refrigerator was not working. Also the furniture were very basic. It has an small elevator but you can use for stroller.

Friendly staff and clean hotel. The walls are not super thick. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors when they make a lot of noice. Breakfast is very good and the elevators are really fast.

The place is good but I hated that one towel in the room had really bad smell. When I asked for a new towel, It didnt smell bad but there was still something wrong with the smell.

We are very pleased with the accompanying facilities that the hotel offers such as swimming pool, sauna and fitness. Rooms with bathrooms are clean, modern and nicely decorated. The service is up to standard and the only small complaint is the speed of the internet but that is negligible. Anyway we'll be back here again. *****

Not convenient Parking

Nice hotel. I got an accessible room, but no problem there. It was squeaky clean, well equipped with a good bed and strong shower. Only problem: the booking did not get through. Not sure whether that was a mistake by the hotel or the booking service. They solved it quickly.

Bonn has a different interpretation of the stars. This is in note way shape or firm a 4 star hotel in any other city in the world. But for Bonn it's OK. Breakfast is the best thing about the hotel. And the area it is in. The rooms are 2 star at best. Looks like a student dormitory at best

No coffee machine or fridge in my room. No drawers or safe either. Internet did not work, and their AC also was not working properly at the time. I could hear loud drilling and construction taking place upstairs all day, so I did not have a very restful experience. Spacious accommodation, well placed for easy access by train into the centre of Bonn. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Although a slightly strange mixture of residential and tourist accommodation that didn’t detract from the experience. On-site parking available for a fee but plenty of free road parking spaces. Decent breakfast available at a fair price.

I was not heaving a reservation at this hotel but at other one with same name. Unfortunately I found this out at arrival. Giving 5 stars because they were very kind helping me finding out what was going on. Also they change me some money so I could buy a new ticket for tram, and they show me the right direction. :) Appritiate it.

This is the place for conferences held by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), German Rectors Conference (HRK), German Research Foundation (DFG) etc. It's a functional venue for participants, the rooms are small but very clean and the food is okay - unless you stay for too long ;)

Very good location and a nice place to stay with easy access to the main part of Bonn. Room was good, very clean and well sized but a lack of elevators could be an issue. Unclear as to breakfast cost but staff were very helpful and kind.

Cute little hotel, small but it's cozy. The location was perfect in that everything from the train station to town to the Rhine River is close by and there was not much walking involved. The staff were very kind and the rooms were good too. Bare in mind that there is no air conditioning. Even though it can get very hot this was not a problem as the fan they provide is good enough for the job.

Stafd were lovely. Only problem we had was the parking situation - I booked through Booking and selected places with free onsite parking, it turned out that there was a parking place nearby (extremely tight to maneuver an estate car around) and it cost 8 Euros.

the room was very nice, the bed a little on the soft side and since the room was looking onto the traintrack, you could hear trains passing by as long as the window was opened.

Here for two nights for a conference. I arrived after midnight, and the automated check-in wouldn't let me in, as it owed me two cents! Fortunately some guests in the hotel found a staff member, who registered me manually. So I would advise arriving before midnight! Other than that, an excellent stay, and good breakfasts!

The cleaning service does a good job. The rooms are quiet. No good bath supplements. The breakfast is expensive. The internet connection speed is not so good. There's no fridge or anything and the rooms are too small. Oh and the pillow sucks !

We were very happy to find a place where we could bring our cat. Would be nice though if it was possible to rent a cat-tray and buy sand for the cats toilet. Luckily we brought our own.

Lovely little hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent location with some great restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby, but nothing too lairy. Only a five minute stroll to the to the city centre. My own gripe is that there was no air-con. But can’t fault the place besides that. I’d really recommend staying here.

It's such a lovely place with very friendly staff and great service. You can also rent a bike, so you can be at the river in few minutes. We also used the meeting room several times. And it's great to have that possibility. Thanks a lot for a fabulous stay, as times before.

This hotel is well situated close to some awesome attractions re A Women's Museum, Beethovens birthplace/house and great restaurants of diverse foods from different cultures. The hotel is comfortable and well maintained by friendly staff.

Our stay at the Belmont Classic was just great! We were warmly welcomed and well informed about everything. We felt very comfortable. The room was just great and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and big. The hotel is central and I highly recommend it!
