THE LIBERTY Hotel Bremerhaven, BW Signature Collection in Bremerhaven

The rooms in the hotel are absolutely small, there is nowhere to hide suitcases and they are always underfoot. Note that the balcony in the rooms overlooking the water is shared with other rooms in the hotel. And the occupants of neighboring rooms can look into your room through the large glass doors when walking along the long shared balcony. You have to keep the curtains always closed and sit in the dark. There is no coffee machine in the room, only a small kettle and two bags of cheap instant coffee. There are no plates or cutlery in the room. They couldn't bring them to the room. Had to go down to reception myself and pick this up. The whole hotel is not very clean and now I understand why. They clean here only sometimes. The location of the hotel is good, but the terrible service kills all the positive impression. I will never stay in this hotel again and can't recommend it to anyone.

I stayed from the 5/6th of August for work. The location is nice and I stayed on the first floor with a view over the waterside. The area is calm and peaceful and the male receptionist was friendly and helpful at arrival. Unfortunately I forgot my AirPods on the desk next to the bed and found out later that day. My checkout was at 07:00 and I called later that day around 18:00 to report that I left them in the room. I could see on the find my network that they were still at the hotel one of them last seen at 09:16 and the other one at 15:23 showing that they were around the lobby. I spoke to a female receptionist who had an impatient tone and tried to get me off the phone asap taking my information and saying she would call back. The next day I called again because they had not called back, this time I spoke to another receptionist and she once again took my information and said that she would call back. The day after I called again this time the receptionist told me they were very busy and that the rooms don’t necessarily get cleaned everyday so It could be that nobody had yet entered the room and that they would once again call back. I emphasized that the batteries run out and that it would be difficult to locate them, they would call me back. Last Friday I called again and finally somebody contacted room cleaning, she called me back stating that nothing was found and if I was sure wether I left them at the hotel. I explained that the location can be tracked and that they most likely have been moved out of the room since the location pointed towards the lobby area so somebody must have taken them. Also items on the find my network update their location by connecting to nearby iphones. If left alone in the hotel room the location would not be updated. After telling her this she said she would one again call back, and you can already guess it that has not happened…
