Been here for a sales conference. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, were all good. Would love to come back for a break from city life.

On the road from Budapest to Switzerland. Great warm reception. We travelled with a standard poodle and were shown two rooms to choose from. One was more spacious and we chose that one. Greater quality for a great price. Midtown and close to everything. The only downside was the lack of English speaking staff.

We had lunch here during our bike tour around the Chiemsee. The waiter was very nice, the food was delicious and we had almost no waiting time.

We always enjoy coming here now Kevin has owned the Seemannshof in the third generation. Thanks to him and to Elli and Mrs. Meier, such a great house in a quiet but also central location. We used to go here with friends, then with our children and now as pensioners. We always like to come back. Marion and Uwe.

We enjoyed a wonderful break from the big city here, the peace and quiet and idyll did us a lot of good. The rooms are spotless, clean and equipped with mosquito nets. The breakfast was just to our liking, with orange juice, fruit salad and eggs if you wanted them, homemade jam and as much coffee as you wanted. We were also able to rent bikes for cheap and got lots of tips for restaurants and excursions...

If you are looking for peace, a great breakfast and very attentive hosts, you have come to the right place. An insider tip for the less hip city dweller looking for relaxation ....... When it comes to bicycles, there is still room for improvement .......... ;-)

We will definitely go back to the Seemannshof, we were very impressed. You will be greeted warmly by the host and you will also get tips on where to eat nearby, as well as hiking tips or other activities.

The hotel is OK. Rooms are spacious (even the single). The pool and sauna are good, however the restaurant is trying a bit too hard to be fabulous. The quality of the dishes is fair, the size and combination of flavours could be improved upon.

A nice place for a short stay. The hotel is an bit oldschool but the rooms are modern and well equipped. The staff didn't speak English so prepare a dictionary. Overall very positive: nice, calm and clean. Very good breakfast.

We have been to the farm several times now. For our children it is paradise. The Meyer family really does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The apartments are tastefully and functionally furnished. Everything is very clean. We're guaranteed to come back more often

Very nice. We had a great time at the Keilhof. Great location, quiet and relaxed in a family atmosphere. The boss and boss are super relaxed, very friendly and take great care of the farm and guests. We were able to experience a great vacation here. Super child-friendly, typically Bavarian beautiful, loving and helpful care, a small selection of animals, fantastic views of the mountains and the Chiemsee and a great starting point for excursions! We would choose this accommodation again and again and recommend it to others!

The best vacation in a long time! Super friendly hosts, so many animals and the huge garden (for free use !!!) with a view of the lake. The rustic apartments are clean and very well equipped. We were on the farm for two weeks. The farm is well suited for children. A small playground with a trampoline and animals to stroke pass the time. Our apartment was equipped with all the necessary things (except for a microwave, which we also didn't need). The location with the view from the paddock to the lake to the Alps is wonderful. We can recommend the farm without reservation.

Cozy restaurant just beside the lake. Enjoy your food and have beautiful view of sunset there. Its possible to rent this restaurant for birthday celebration etc. Price quite expensive.

On my way to the Königsee with my bike, decided to spend the night here on a rainy and windy day. The staff that guided me to my apartment was very kind and customer-oriented. The bedroom was big enough and had a nice view.

The hotel is in a great location. Room with a nice terrace and a nice view of the Alps.  Nice sized room. Room was clean and interior is maintained. The food was good. Very personal, and friendly staff. Strongly recommended.

A very quiet, comfortable, clean place with a beautiful sightseen. You can have breakfast with: milk, coffee, tea, fruit juices, water, cereals and bread with butter and jam. You can also eat ham, eggs and vegetables. The staff is very kind.

Amazing breakfast. The rooms have great views. It is tranquil and relaxing. They have a restaurant with pretty decent food. Everything that you need. It's also very close to the highway if you need to leave early.

The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly and the view from the room is amazing. Also the breakfast was very good and various. I highly recommend the hotel. It was only a 14 minute drive from Chiemsee.

Very lovely place in the heart of country, very much off the beaten track. No elevator so too much of a chore to bring suitcases up to the rooms. Cheerful & helpful staff during breakfast which was a bit limited in the selection.

Friends of ours stayed here after a party and we joined at short notice for breakfast the next day. We received an extremely friendly welcome, the breakfast was good and inexpensive (even as external guests we only paid 7.50 including coffee). Simple and old look rooms - need to be refreshed because they were not so clean anymore :( But people here is kind and available. Stay one night and we had 3 rooms each one being nearly the same (1 double and 2 simple rooms) Room keys are usable for the entry door because there's no reception after 7pm.

The farm is very centrally located, yet quiet. The children can safely let off steam on the large area and play with the animals. The apartment had a great view of the mountains and was equipped with everything necessary. A few board games were also available and the hostess tried very hard and gave good tips. We (2 adults and 2 children) are looking forward to the autumn holidays, which we will spend for the third time with family Irger overseas. We feel very well there, welcome (so to speak with family connection) and like to live in the new, very clean apartment under the roof.

Relatively old, traditional hotel that might have been a 4 or 5 star many years ago. The room was sufficient but lacked any kind of character. The service in the evening was non existent, the breakfast team very helpful instead. The location is great in the middle of the city

Went to Traunstein with my wife and ended up on this charming hotel. No problem accommodating the late arrival, room was clean but a bit long in the tooth, a good breakfast rounded off the impromptu visit. The hotel is great! In prime location for shops and restaurants. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. Nice big and clean apartments, with all the basic equipment you need. Decent prices and kind staff. Free WiFi, an outside pool, a sauna and breakfast-rolls service to top it all off. Booked several apartments for a larger group and certainly enjoyed the stay.

There are really very few places in Germany that never disappoint, and the Gasthof Hinterwirt is one of them. Unique and cute accommodation close to the Chiemsee. Basic but well thought out concept. The hall with it’s shared kitchen and generous seating area is well decorated and has cozy lighting. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers are simple - which was no problem for us but might be something to consider for others.

Spent a long weekend there with a group of friends, due to the number of people it was possible to rent the entire space, so we could sit undisturbed until 4 in the morning around the cozy campfire. Wonderful service, all requests could be met. The huts are well heated, despite the very fresh outside temperatures. Gladly again.

We ran into this wonderful hotel in this beautiful rural German town in early June. It is located south of Traunstein and west of Salzburg. The view of the mountains is stunning.
