Staff members from reception to breakfast were grumpy and did not like dealing with English speakers. Breakfast was satisfactory. Room was dated and bathroom sink so small it was difficult to brush teeth without water getting everywhere, but the room was clean and bed decently comfortable.

Comfortable hotel a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Staff friendly, excellent breakfast and comfortable bedroom with balcony. Only problem was that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom so we left the window open as it was in the middle of the heatwave. I ended up with dozens of mosquito bites which was not a good start to the holiday.

My first visit to Bavaria (I’m from the UK)- the lake was recommended. I spent 2 nights & it was the best stay of my week away. Central location, clean, quiet & comfortable room. The staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast, coffee & homemade cakes all superb. Excellent!

Great little hotel with very nice, clean and modern rooms and comfortable beds. Very nice staff. Small but nice and more than sufficient breakfast. Hotel and restaurant are highly recommended. High quality and tastefully decorated, well-kept and clean, very friendly and courteous staff. The room is large and well equipped. The bathroom has a modern and a large shower. In the restaurant we were pampered both at breakfast and at dinner. My conclusion: I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

We didn't stay there at this occasion, but we went there for dinner almost every evening during our stay at Dießen Am Ammersee. It is a lovely, quiet Turkish restaurant to eat. The staff is very friendly, service is great, the food is delicious and light. It is nicely decorated and you feel very welcome.

The apartment was great! It was very clean and totally cute. The apartment was equipped with everything you need. We would love to come back :) We were warmly welcomed and the time to check in was agreed with us in advance. A very nice and charming hotel.

Fabulous location right on the lakefront at the quiet end of the lakeside path. Staff helped us out by letting us in when we arrived early and also next morning when we had some problems following up on a Covid test. Breakfast was plentiful in a lovely spacious dining room with a great view of the lake. Be sure to sit on the balcony to watch the sunset over the lake.

The Seehof is the most perfect place to stay in Herrsching. Set directly lake-front with the most idyllic Bavarian look and feel. You truly feel like you are on a set from a movie. Directly outside the hotel is a pier where 2 gorgeous pleasure cruise boats dock and carry visitors across the beautiful lake Ammersee. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The hotel we selected for its location and proximity to the lake and S Bahn. It was noticeable that the room had not long been renovated which was an unexpected surprise. Very comfortable bed and ample desk and storage space. Good selection of food provided for the buffet breakfast.

We had a fabulous evening meal in their traditional stube and all the staff were very attentive and made us very welcome.

It was easy to find it, park our bikes, check in and out. Wi-Fi was ok. The facility is in the good condition and all are clean. People working there are nice. Breakfast was included, típical german food. The restaurant next to it offered the delicious meals. (good quality) People were very nice. They were flexible to let us adjust our booking when there’s an unexpected accident happen on our way.

Room quite spacious with a sofa, a small table, but no tv. Kettle was available outside the room, but it was dirty. Shared bathroom, no shampoo, only soap. Location not that great, and not worth for the buck. Although check in was at 5pm, we got a room at 1:30 pm.

Too expensive for a place that does not have.parking, no breakfast included and shared bathroom. Decoration is questionable, but that depends on each ones perception.

The location is great, but the hotel itself is a bit old, which they try to position as an art hotel. I found a layer of dust on the wardrobe. Obviously you don't look on top of it very often, but you breath dusty air, and this thing needs to be swiped from time to time

Enjoyed a night at Landhotel Endhart. Front desk had useful local information and excellent English. Parking was free and on site. Breakfast was terrific in a wonderful natural light setting. This is a great base to explore the area.

My double room was super comfortable, clean and spacious. 4 stars for the room however because I could easily hear doors opening and people talking. Shouldn't be the case in all rooms. We took one of the economy rooms and therefore there is no elevator to the 1st floor. There is free parking, if you want to keep your car under cover there is an extra charge of 7 euros. The ‘comfort’ room is great! Modern, clean and very well thought out. Attention to interior finishing, lighting, and all necessary facilities in the room. The bathroom is modern and spotless as well. This hotel had the typical German architecture. It was in a semi-rural area near Oberammergau where we were going for the passion play. Our room had a nice balcony, separate bedroom, large sitting room and bath. It was not real modern but was comfortable. The food for dinner and breakfast was very good.

We came in with a Viking group for Passionspiele. We got a one bedroom suite in the main building. The bathroom was a disaster, no shower, only a big whirlpool tub, and the whirlpool didn't work, so I'm giving myself a spongebath out of the tub faucet - not fun. The room doesn't have air conditioning - common for the Alps I guess. So your choice is to sleep in a hot room or to open the windows...

We stayed two nights last week while visiting to see the Passion Play in nearby Oberammergau. The breakfasts were wonderful and our rooms were great with a separate TV sitting room. Enjoyed the views - wish we had spent more time there!

Arrived at the hotel early evening and the service wasn't great. The receptionists seemed on edge. The room was spacious, however it wasn't as clean as I'd expect. There were hairs on the bathroom floor, on the bed and the bathroom had a strange odour. The breakfast however was lovely. They had a good selection of foods.

Very quiet location, great farm, with lots of space and a wide view. Very nice and friendly family, we felt very comfortable. We were able to store our bikes safely. Ms. Onnich always suggested the best goals of the day for breakfast, which we were very happy to include in our daily planning. If we go on holiday in this region again, we will definitely ask again!

Our first holiday on a farm around March this year was super relaxing! The host family is wonderfully relaxed and natural with a loving Bavarian manner. They were always at our side with tips on the region and gastronomy, as well as sights. Not a bad hotel, nice rooms with good showers, also nice and helpful staff. There are a few disadvantages, the parking is limited, and we didn't think the breakfast was great. Breakfast has enough choice, but the rolls are dry and the range of rolls is limited, you get a pot of coffee at the table, but the coffee was unfortunately much too weak! All in all not a topper, but of course it is only 3 stars...

An absolutely beautiful small hotel packed with history and interesting features. Friendly and really helpful staff. Rooms are lovely, bed very comfortable and the cleaning excellent. Your room is always cleaned early so you can come back to it at any time. Breakfast choice good with personal table service for coffee and eggs.

We spent 3 days at the traditional Hotel Post in Murnau in August 2024. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a large selection, fresh fruit, and always an egg dish to choose from. There were also two fresh cappuccinos every day. Unfortunately, the rooms are very warm, as there are no fans or air conditioning.

I just want to offer praise where it is deserved. I stayed only one night, but should I have need I will choose to stay here again. Great staff, delicious breakfast and right in the middle of town. And all this for a very reasonable price!

Very good food and family owned atmosphere. My room was very nice and I also like the pool and sauna area. You have the choice of a take away lunch instead of breakfast. I liked that because I had to leave early in the morning.

A true gem on the highest point of Murnau. A magical, exclusive atmosphere that will be remembered forever. Marrying here is extraordinary and very personal. We stayed one night during our visit to Oberramergau, Ettal and Linderhof castle. The place was very easy to find. There are enough park spaces on both sides of the building. The host was very friendly and positive. He even gave our children some candies. It was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I recommend the place.

Andrea of Alpen Gastehaus Gerold is the absolutely the best. We spent 8 glorious days and 7 nights in the Alpen Studio that had very comfortable beds with an amazing view of the Bavarian majestic mountains from our balcony. Everything you could need was provided and we really enjoyed making some of our meals in a well equipped kitchen. Their is a newly opened Edeka supermarket across the street too...

I was there in July 2022 for 2 nights with my family. The room was perfect. The bathroom was clean and the hairdryer was able there. Furthermore, breakfast was very tasty. As for the owners, they were very friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days. The service was very good, the breakfast excellent. The room was of a good standard, as was the bathroom, if a little on the small side. The location in the village is very quiet and only a few hundred meters from the "center". We will be back, especially because of the rich and high quality breakfast.

Staff were very friendly, we unfortunately had a medical emergency during our stay but the staff were so helpful, as English speaking guests there was no communication issues at all - the customer service was excellent throughout. A pleasant upscale hotel with friendly, English speaking staff, a decent cafe and bar, great breakfast and terrible internet.

Typical winter Bavarian hotel, you can have a sauna after the cold day, and if you'd like a beer at the evening simply go down in the restaurant
