ACHAT Hotel München Süd

Room and bathroom quite large, bed very comfortable. room and bathroom cleaned (even if the moquette would need a renewal or replacement with something else).
Very close to the U3 Machtlfinger Straße, good price.
Good choice if you need to stay in that area (as I had), probably not the best choice if you need to visit the city, even if the journey with U Bahn takes approx 20 minutes.

Comfortable sleep. Could have used a +1 pillow. Very convenient near U Bahn. Parking available for a fee..

The subway is right outside the door, it's clean and the breakfast is quite rich

Wonderful place.
They were taking care of my luggage,gave me an umbrella when i needed it also.
The breakfast was rich,the bar and restaurant were amazing and love the fact that it's a 24/7 hotel.
Hard working stuff that were always smilling!

Very affordable,4 night stay with all inclusive were around 212 euros!

The metro station is 2 minutes away and 5 minutes away there's a Lidl.

10/10 for me.

OK - the good -

The rooms are spacious, bed is large, the bathroom is lux with marble floors.

it is also in a great location. It is close to the train station and has a Lidl behind it.

The barman Jan is friendly and helpful.

And the not so good -

The rooms do not have a fridge, a microwave and not even a kettle!

When I enquired about the tea and coffee facilities, I was curtly told if I wanted coffee I could buy it downstairs.

It is difficult to understand how a hotel can justify a 4 star rating if it doesn't have anything more than a bed and a bathroom.

And then there is the room temperature. It's a furnace in the room I think the temperature was set to 29 degrees C!!

And the room temperature can't be changed in room. Only the reception can.

Even if they change it, it resets the next day.

I'm not sure why this hotel needs a sauna... Just stay in the room.

As has been noted in another review on Tripadvisor, this issue is ongoing. He noted it in 2017 and again in 2019 but nothing has changed.

Secondly is the staff attitude. They aren't rude but not friendly either. Likely they are worn down by the same issues getting raised while they are powerless to change it themselves.

Unsurprisingly, I was not offered a late check out.

The main advantage of location is lost by all the disadvantages.

If that's why you want to stay here, don't let the photo's trick you, book another better hotel nearby.

The hotel could not assign two beds for me due to overbooking. The final resolution was separating a single bed for two beds. The accommodation experience was quite bad and the staff was not helpful , they promised to help me but I recalled them again.

The environment is super good. There is a small forest outside the window, and there is sunset. The location is also convenient. It is a two-minute walk from the subway. A bottle of atmospheric mineral water was also given. It is also romantic to drink alone. This is the most satisfactory hotel on this trip❤️
