The Seehof is the most perfect place to stay in Herrsching. Set directly lake-front with the most idyllic Bavarian look and feel. You truly feel like you are on a set from a movie. Directly outside the hotel is a pier where 2 gorgeous pleasure cruise boats dock and carry visitors across the beautiful lake Ammersee. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Herrsching will be your perfect lake front getaway and the Seehof will be your ideal central resting point with the most beautiful views.

The hotel we selected for its location and proximity to the lake and S Bahn. It was noticeable that the room had not long been renovated which was an unexpected surprise. Very comfortable bed and ample desk and storage space. Good selection of food provided for the buffet breakfast.

Really nice restaurant, lovely food and great service. We celebrated new years eve here just today and had a blast 🙌 🍀🎉 We had an amazing time and it won't be our last new year's eve here 😀 . Great live music and amazing food and service! Top!

Wonderful views to the mountains at the lake, a splendid place to spend time for a few days. Food was good, and the service was good. The room was neat and fitting for a few day trip.

1) food was bad and pricy

Any person who doesn't speak German, I highly recommend not visiting this place unless you want to have an XENOPHOBIC experience. I went yesterday to the part of the restaurant/café just to ask for a coca-cola, I was greeted with a "Servus" which I replied also with a "Servus", the employer started to speak and I asked sorry because I don't speak German and I only wanted a coca-cola. I am learning German, so sometimes I can understand some words, and I got the "Spracht German" and made me a sign to leave. I was a bit shocked with the situation, and a colleague of him passed by, and I asked if he spoke English. He just made a sign as no and also gave me the impression that I should leave.
It was just a pity because the place seemed to be nice, and I was not only willing to buy a Coca-Cola.

Nicely situated hotel but we friends had an amazing time at drinks. The best views of the lake and pier. A lot of couples walking around and enjoying the romantic atmosphere. Service was good. Must say best place to have drink with beautiful views.
