Where to stay in Diessen am Ammersee

Really nice location with a friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and our room was very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel located in the center. But breakfast was disappointed as you had to select you meal the evening before in German.

Comfortable hotel a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Staff friendly, excellent breakfast and comfortable bedroom with balcony. Only problem was that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom so we left the window open as it was in the middle of the heatwave. I ended up with dozens of mosquito bites which was not a good start to the holiday.

Very good hotel I recommend it very near is located a large lake. The rooms are spacious clean and cozy

Was there with my company for lunch. Food was almost perfect - salad was a bit too cold and the optic of the main course could be improved. But after all, it was nice to stay there - I prefer it to Unterbräu, to Strand Hotel and also to the restaurant at the sports fields.

Very clean hotel and very friendly staff. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired! Cozy rooms with good facilities. We had a room with a sun terrace and it was fantastic. The location of the hotel is ideal to enjoy Diessen and the Ammersee. Always my pleasure.

My first visit to Bavaria (I’m from the UK)- the lake was recommended. I spent 2 nights & it was the best stay of my week away. Central location, clean, quiet & comfortable room. The staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast, coffee & homemade cakes all superb. Excellent!

Great little hotel with very nice, clean and modern rooms and comfortable beds. Very nice staff. Small but nice and more than sufficient breakfast. A star deduction for the clairaudience when other guests are talking in the corridors. You can hear every word. Still very recommendable! In the picture you can see Zimmer Goldchickchen.

Cozy and the right place to relax and enjoy the time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are renovated and look great. A good sleep on the bed is pre-programmed 🙌 Very nicely furnished and I find the sanitary facilities a little too small (cramped) The rooms are very noisy.

the hotel is in a quiet place, the environment is beautifully arranged, the hotel has charm, quiet, cozy and tidy place, the staff answered all the questions at any time of the day, we arrived late, so late check-in was a great choice for us, the rooms are clean and warm, which I like, the warmth is huge plus, great experience, good luck 🙂

Hotel and restaurant are highly recommended. High quality and tastefully decorated, well-kept and clean, very friendly and courteous staff. The room is large and well equipped. The bathroom has a modern and a large shower. In the restaurant we were pampered both at breakfast and at dinner. My conclusion: I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

We didn't stay there at this occasion, but we went there for dinner almost every evening during our stay at Dießen Am Ammersee. It is a lovely, quiet Turkish restaurant to eat. The staff is very friendly, service is great, the food is delicious and light. It is nicely decorated and you feel very welcome.

Wonderful, here you come as a person and leave as a friend! High quality breakfast! (if the hotel were surrounded by greenery it would of course be even better, but you can only hear the street slightly)

Very unusual hotel with extremely nice staff. You feel very warmly welcomed by the employees. Unfortunately the hotel is pretty noisy. Also, my TV didn't work and my bed creaked.

Great hotel with charm: Individually furnished rooms that are simply cozy. Super nice staff who respond to individual requests (gluten intolerance). Lakefront property with private boat. Super delicious breakfast. If you are looking for a hotel away from the usual Upper Bavarian design and decor, but still want to feel 100% comfortable, this is the place for you.

The apartment was great! It was very clean and totally cute. The apartment was equipped with everything you need. We would love to come back :) We were warmly welcomed and the time to check in was agreed with us in advance. A very nice and charming hotel.

Superb location with a beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. We took a room for my wife and kid and were positively surprised that it had a door between the two sleeping areas, what made it extra convenient

Fabulous location right on the lakefront at the quiet end of the lakeside path. Staff helped us out by letting us in when we arrived early and also next morning when we had some problems following up on a Covid test. Breakfast was plentiful in a lovely spacious dining room with a great view of the lake. Be sure to sit on the balcony to watch the sunset over the lake.

Just stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved it! So much friendliness, everyone said hello and was ready for a chat. The rooms were nice and cozy and fantastically clean! The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Perfect location. Lovely lake views and easy access to the ferry. Full round trip (North and south) well worth the 3. 5 hours.

Beautiful location with friendly staff receiving us upon arrival. We reserved a table but we’re not able to dine there due to personnel issues, can happen. It was pretty easy to find another place around the lake, but don’t forget to reserve first. Back in the room we had some awful smell receiving us from the drain. The friendly lady came from the reception and did her best to fix it. Thanks for that...

Ein schönes Hotel am See. The breakfast is flawless. Be sure to spend some quality time on the private dock. I can’t think of anything to complain. All good. Come here and enjoy the beautiful life at the lake.

We spent Easter 22 at Ammersee-Hotel. The hotel is well run and gives a family feeling. From the minute we arrived, everyone was very friendly. Rudi, was exceptionally friendly. (he might actually work at Steg). Also another lady who's name I didn't get.( She had a hearing aid) . Simply friendly staff. We loved it. Our dog even got a nice blanket, with water bowl and treats. We have visited dozens of times, it is one beautiful place. Too much to list, super friendly, great breakfast, dinner, patio, drinks, rooms. Charging station for your hybrid car. Beautiful view to the lake Ammersee. We will be back again, hopefully soon.

The hotel we selected for its location and proximity to the lake and S Bahn. It was noticeable that the room had not long been renovated which was an unexpected surprise. Very comfortable bed and ample desk and storage space. Good selection of food provided for the buffet breakfast.

Wonderful views to the mountains at the lake, a splendid place to spend time for a few days. Food was good, and the service was good. The room was neat and fitting for a few day trip.

Nicely situated hotel but we friends had an amazing time at drinks. The best views of the lake and pier. A lot of couples walking around and enjoying the romantic atmosphere. Service was good. Must say best place to have drink with beautiful views.

Astonishing and beautiful view from their outside biergarten! Fish dish was also well-cooked, everyone can easily enjoy it. Almost none of fish bones and at least no chance to stick in my throat. Tip: Weißbier was really good at this place with this view!

It's a lovely stay.Beautifully styled spacious room, excellent service, wonderful restaurant with an exotic menu. All set in a very Bavarian background in walking distance to the lake and one of these cute baroque onion church towers
