This was a beautiful, clean and comfortable inn in Bavaria. The views from the balcony are amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious. One of the nicest places we have stayed in our travels.It was a good base location for exploring the area.

Nice typical german hotel next to the famous monastery, clean room with good sturdy beds. A little too pricey for the value but sufficient. We had a good stay here

Great location overlooking Ettal. Nicely furnished rooms, a solid breakfast offering, and a nice outdoor area. The restaurant was closed for a renovation, so did not get an opportunity to experience it.

Ettal is one of the most picturesque little towns you will find in the alps of Germany. We stayed for one night last year in May and had a wonderful experience at the Posthotel Ettal. It is a beautifully appointed small hotel with excellent service and a great breakfast. I would recommend it highly and would stay there again and again.

The most beautiful hotel on this trip, opposite the monastery, you can see it by opening the window, the scenery in the fairy tale becomes a reality here, it is worth a second visit. It takes more than ten minutes to drive from here to the De Linhof Palace, and 1 hour to drive to Neuschwanstein Castle. The scenery along the way is beautiful.

This hotel exceeded expectations! Very convenient for driving tours. Opposite the hotel is a beautiful monastery (Ettal Abbey), it is best to leave some time to visit it. The surrounding countryside scenery and breakfast are also good.

We felt very comfortable at the Alphotel. It's not super-modern, but it was clean and well-maintained. Highlights were the view of a mountain range from the hotel room (with a balcony and small front garden) and the wonderful terrace where we enjoyed the generous breakfast. Points deducted for the bitter coffee and the lack of a refrigerator in the room. We would stay there again anytime.

We spent one night here during a motorcycle tour. The accommodation was well-maintained and clean, with outdoor parking for the motorcycles. The sauna and pool area are available for use. We couldn't use the restaurant because it was closed on Sundays.

We stayed here as a group from South Africa to attend the passion play in oberammergau. The staff were very friendly, efficient and went out of their way to make sure that we were tended t. The food was lovely and the breakfast pack for the airport fantastic!

This was an excellent hotel for a 2 week stay. The hostess is extremely friendly and goes out of her way to help. The rooms are extremely spacious and everything is kept very clean. One of the best stays I've had, largely due to the great hostess.

Nice hotel (Bed and Breakfast) in Oberammergau. A five minute walk to the Centre of the town and restaurants. I loved my room, which included a “double bed” (two singles pushed together) which is a rarity in this town. Cheaper rooms in Germany often only have single beds. The bathroom is modern and gorgeous. Wonderful stay with friendly and helpful staff, quiet location with mountain view right across the street. Sauna available from 3-8pm is a treat after a day in the outdoors. A hot Gluhwein on tap in the afternoons and the fireplace rounds off a luxurious stay. Breakfast from 8-10am is diverse and high quality. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean.

We have been visiting the Hotel Landhaus Feldmeier since 1997. We keep coming back because we feel like family here. The food is outstanding, the staff are very nice, and Sabine is doing an excellent job carrying on the traditions. They have a great New Year's Eve (Silvester-Abend) party!

The building looks very nice. There are many places to see and you can easily visit them without vesicles. The houses are nicely decorated. The natural views are also mind blowing.

We loved our stay here. We came for the Passion Play and Erol & Petra made us feel so at home. As if we were family. The place itself was excellent. The is a great place with big rooms and good bathrooms. Public transportation is right outside the hotel. The hotel has its own parking lot. As I prefer rooms without carpet, the room was perfect for me. Breakfast was well served with coffee or tea. I enjoyed a week with very friendly hosts.

We only spent one night here but it was very nice. Location is great (the main street may be a little loud during the day though) the room was small but pretty, the house old but well kept. We had a hard time to find a parking spot but that is to be expected in a tourist location like this one.

Ideal place for relax with family and friends - nice mountain views, cosy restaurant, a lot of pedestrian and ski routes just a few steps away, sauna to warm you up after a walking around. Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful quiet hotel. The staff was so generous and helpful from check-in, breakfast, checking out, and everything in-between. The views from our suite and the balcony were breathtaking. The drive to Garmisch for skiing isn’t too far, but to Zugspritze I would try and find something closer.

The location is convenient, just 3-minute walk from the bus stop and 5-minute walk from the center of the town. The room is clean and tidy. Our stay was super. All members of staff were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Our room was close to St. Peter bell tower but with the window closed we got a good night sleep. It's really local to all areas of the Oberammergau village. Our room and communal areas were very clean indeed.

This is a wonderful lodge, especially for families. It's in easy reach of the Unterammergau and Oberammergau ski slopes, which are good for beginner skiers. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We loved it.

We liked the most the warm welcome , our room so large and comfortable and the breakfast . Oberammergau is very nice town in a good position to visit all Ludwig II residences and Ettal Abbey .
