We ate at the restaurant twice. We could reserve a table on short notice. The kitchen opens at 4 pm. The food was very tatsy and the prices are according to the quality. The Zwiebelrostbraten was very good, but unfortunately the beef was from Canada.

It can make your weekend enjoyable. Very friendly and nice environment to stay here. Good for family trip also.

Amazing view over the monestary, friendly personnel and a very decent room even though we could hear the upstairs guest a bit through a creeping ceiling. Breakfast was also good. Would definitely recommend a stay.

We stayed for one night last year in May and had a wonderful experience at the Posthotel Ettal. It is a beautifully appointed small hotel with excellent service and a great breakfast. I would recommend it highly and would stay there again and again.

The room was beautifully decorated, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to cater to my every need. The dining options were also top-notch, offering a variety of delicious dishes.

Charming old hotel. Standard room was quite nice and spacious. Breakfast was diverse and good quality. Restaurant closed too early so I did not get the chance to try it (by 9 pm on a Saturday!) The gym is small with a C2 rower, bike, cross trainer and an adjustable pulley with a stack of weights. Zero free weights or benches. This was the first place we stayed at for a 12 day trip through the region during Christmas Market season, and it was easily the best hotel in the set. We were completely pleased. Wonderful staff.

3 night honeymoon stay. The desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was huge with a baloney that had a wonderful Mountain View. Very easy to travel to nearby sites with the visitor pass for local bus trips. Delicious breakfast every morning. We enjoyed the amenities - pool, saunas and massage. 10/10.

Great hotel with excellent professional and polite staff. Good restaurant, very comfortable rooms, and good location for relaxation. The towns around are rather small and seem mostly for guests visiting in the Winther months for skiing. Good breakfast. Prices are reasonable for the rooms. I will recommend staying in this hotel and I could easily return here in the future myself.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is behind a hill from the busy highway and thus quiet. The staff was also very good. However there were a number of maintenance items, especially in the shower. And you had to slam the door to get it to latch when leaving. Felt like they went cheap when they built it.

This was an excellent hotel for a 2 week stay. The hostess is extremely friendly and goes out of her way to help. The rooms are extremely spacious and everything is kept very clean. One of the best stays I've had, largely due to the great hostess.

The manager Katja made the biggest difference. She was helpful, informative, and went far beyond our expectations to ensure we had a pleasant stay while attending the Passion Play. Thank you Katja for your warm welcome and hospitality.

Nice hotel (Bed and Breakfast) in Oberammergau. A five minute walk to the Centre of the town and restaurants. The bed and Breakfast. The bathroom is very small. In particular, the distance of the toilet to the wall. Breakfast selection is rather small. Coffee is usually hot. Reception almost never occupied. But positive is the cleanliness of the rooms was on all the cases.

Wonderful stay with friendly and helpful staff, quiet location with mountain view right across the street. Sauna available from 3-8pm is a treat after a day in the outdoors. A hot Gluhwein on tap in the afternoons and the fireplace rounds off a luxurious stay. Breakfast from 8-10am is diverse and high quality. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean.

Amazing breakfast and super clean, large rooms! Wide shower and well provisioned bathroom. It was a nice walk to the city center and we enjoyed the open field with the sheep across from the hotel.

Used Arnika many times, and stayed in a newly refurbished suite - really excellent standard with bath and shower and plenty of space. Great greeting from the owners and spotless in the room and excellent breakfast despite the Covid restrictions - first choice when inOberammergau for me.

Exceeded expectations in many ways. Great jacuzzi. Easy to walk to the town. Room excellent. Staff friendly (their English not great, but then my German is non existent). Breakfast great, lots of seeds, nuts etc, etc.

I have enjoyed my stay very much. The family is lovely, loved my room, they offer a good breakfast, and the girls that came to make up my room for the two weeks I've been here are wonderful. I would definitely recommend them and will be coming back.

Everything about the rooms were nice and the bathroom was decent too. Unfortuantely there were a lot of problems with the wifi, so I couldn't work that night. Everything else was pretty good.

We have been visiting the Hotel Landhaus Feldmeier since 1997. We keep coming back because we feel like family here. The food is outstanding, the staff are very nice, and Sabine is doing an excellent job carrying on the traditions. They have a great New Year's Eve (Silvester-Abend) party!

The building looks very nice. There are many places to see and you can easily visit them without vesicles. The houses are nicely decorated. The natural views are also mind blowing.

We loved our stay here. We came for the Passion Play and Erol & Petra made us feel so at home. As if we were family. The place itself was excellent. Very close to the station and to the city center, it was super clean, comfortable, the room was spacious, the beds and bedding were great. We really enjoyed ourselves there!

This is a beautiful hotel right next to train & bus station, short 5 minutes walk to Passion Theatre and centre of town and a mini mart at the petrol station opposite the hotel (which opens till 10pm while we were there). The is a great place with big rooms and good bathrooms. Public transportation is right outside the hotel. The hotel has its own parking lot. As I prefer rooms without carpet, the room was perfect for me. Breakfast was well served with coffee or tea. I enjoyed a week with very friendly hosts.

We only spent one night here but it was very nice. Location is great (the main street may be a little loud during the day though) the room was small but pretty, the house old but well kept. We had a hard time to find a parking spot but that is to be expected in a tourist location like this one.

Ideal place for relax with family and friends - nice mountain views, cosy restaurant, a lot of pedestrian and ski routes just a few steps away, sauna to warm you up after a walking around. A good starting point to explore Southern Bavaria with its stunning mountains, castles and villages. Wish to come back here again.

Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful quiet hotel. The staff was so generous and helpful from check-in, breakfast, checking out, and everything in-between. The views from our suite and the balcony were breathtaking. The drive to Garmisch for skiing isn’t too far, but to Zugspritze I would try and find something closer.

The location is convenient, just 3-minute walk from the bus stop and 5-minute walk from the center of the town. The room is clean and tidy. Our stay was super. All members of staff were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Our room was close to St. Peter bell tower but with the window closed we got a good night sleep. It's really local to all areas of the Oberammergau village. Our room and communal areas were very clean indeed.

This is a wonderful lodge, especially for families. It's in easy reach of the Unterammergau and Oberammergau ski slopes, which are good for beginner skiers. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We loved it.
