Very nice and clean hotel Great indoor pool and things to spend time.with the kids

I visit this hotel last year and it's still the best hotel I have ever been to! The staff were so kind, the rooms were clean the food was amazing and the view was just like as if you're in a picture! 100% worth visiting

Hotel is located right on the road, therefore the rooms are extremely loud. Pool and sauna are lovely, but very small for the number of guests for the hotel of such size. We couldn’t even get beds in the resting area

Overall amazing hotel! Amazing views, perfect service, breakfast is delicious and luxury experience! Small comments: Matt of beds was not the best, would be better to have a double/king size

We where greeted with a smile and a warm welcome by Jane. She then immediately offered us a welcome drink and began our check in progress, which was quick and easy

She recommended to eat at their upstairs restaurant letting us know that they have amazing wild boar goulash which the owners kill themselves when they go hunting

In bad weather, the sauna and swimming pool are inviting, which are also very clean. A very beautiful pond is within walking distance

Even our little furry friends were thought of. So cute :-) Everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff is wonderful, you can really feel the family atmosphere, very warm and really sweet

I spent Christmas there with my daughter and son-in-law and it was more than perfect, so much so that we didn't even want to think about going home. The rooms were very comfortable, nothing was missing

The menu for Christmas was simply "SUPER", many thanks to the great chef. The breakfast buffet was also very good, nothing was missing. Not to forget the wellness area, very beautifully designed

Very attentive, friendly staff. The rooms are clean and, in my opinion, equipped with everything you need. The breakfast offers a good selection. Bread rolls must be ordered the day before

The only point for improvement here would be more choice of courses. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential, and we can imagine returning

Overall a good hotel, however they advertise peace and relaxation with an indoor pool and sauna, but this is hardly possible as there are children all over the area and it feels like a children's playground

Too bad: the bedding was too soft and our windows overlooked an overhanging meadow where cows equipped with bells grazed, making them very noisy at night

The hotel is very clean, room cleaned every day, towels also changed every day, good breakfast, simple and efficient dinner once, decent swimming pool to cool off

The owner and the family are nice and friendly. The room is clean and breakfast is variety and great. The location is not far from Titisee. It takes us 10 mins to get there. We would stay there again.

Beautiful blend of traditional German hotel with very modern updates. Some how blended perfectly like still seeing the old wooden beams of the building but having a wonderful rain shower in the bathroom

Ok so the food was amazing, the service was excellent. I also proposed to my partner here, the staff were fantastic in helping me make plans. We had a fantastic evening, cant wait to come back.

Our room was so comfortable after a long day of travel had two chairs to sit in a nice bed and a place for everything

Could not hear any of the other guest from our room. The most important thing to me is a clean room and it was so clean everywhere! Towels and sheets perfectly white and soft, hardwood floors and rugs excellent

We ate some dinners at a pizzeria six km away, a hit with children. with a variety of fresh breads, cheese and fruits. They make eggs to order, though that's not advertised - you have to ask

This hotel is perfect for families, as it’s extremely kid-friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable

Beautiful walking trails all around, the map collection captured in a grandma's file kept at Reception. The property is very well located for skiing I imagine, with magic carpets & ski shops/restaurants next to the hotel

While booking the stay, the hotel offered a fairly expensive price for dinner, but didn't needlessly push it (unlike some other larger hotels in the area, which is why we chose to stay with them)

The quiet ambience, the friendly helpful staff and the incredible food make this a wonderful visit. And the scenery is beautiful!!

I mean simple googling, not even talking about Spotify or YouTube. Since there was a bad signal from my phone provider as well I had to live without Internet. I think for an expensive hotel this shouldn't be the case

And the location at the big street was noisy, but still bearable. The view from the balcony was very nice if you disregard the big street. I wanted to give 5 stars but WLAN was simply unusable

Nice location near Schluchsee, expensive wellness resort, good breakfast. The atmosphere is old school fancy, except for the wellness part, which is modern fancy and I liked a lot

Some other small details like elevator on my side was just until 1st floor, my room being in the 2nd floor were surprising, but not necessarily very disturbing for me personally

We stay here when we want to visit Hinterzarten. Excellent buffet frühstück with fresh made waffles and eggs to order. Room were clean and will be updated next year but price for what you get is best in town

Amazing peaceful quit place in the middle of the black forest. The hosts are very nice and lovely, Wifi is limited and not working everywhere in the hotel. We will definitely come back here.

Next to several bike & hiking paths as well as amenities in town. Their Ebikes were fun to ride. Alex is an excellent host with information in advance and very helpful during our stay

We only ate at their restaurant, and were we happy to have stopped here?!?! There is a wonderful view over Lake Titisee and a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and service friendly

The main building is on the edge of the lake, the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. The building is typical, wood panelled. The outdoor terrace has a fire pit and a mini playground for kids

Went there for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised. The features by the lake could be improved but for the rooms they were awesome and big! Balcony and view on the lake.

There are many appartements scattered around the 'resort'. We had a very luxuries 2 double bedroom flat with 2 bathrooms, a kitchen / diner abs terrace overlooking the lake

Parking available but limited. There is also a small place where children can play after having eaten. There is easy access down to the lake, after having eaten

Every morning a breakfast 'starter' is delivered to your door to give you a boost before heading to the main building for a fuller selection

My wife had a massage at the wellness centre and she extended it because it was so good. One of the best she has ever had. And finally the staff - every single one we dealt with were excellent, helpful and attentive

The kids enjoyed the pools inside and outside to swim and play as well as the huge private park area including a kids playground behind the hotel. In case of bad weather the hotel also offers an indoor playground

I cannot recommend this hotel any more highly, it was a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is interesting and you can see great care is taken of it. The rooms were very well appointed and a high standard

We return here yearly for our wedding anniversary (at least for ten or more years now) so have seen things evolve over time. This stay was truly wonderful (helped by the weather as well)

Everywhere seemed well maintained and the breakfast is one of the best around (at least as far as our travels are concerned) with lots of choice and a notable increase in speed of service when ordering something from the kitchen (was fine before but much sharper this time around)

Inclusive dining is sometimes a sign you will have a limited menu - but not here, the choices were wide and an excellent menu. Extra touches such as afternoon tea an added delight

The setting is wonderful and the crowning glory is the wellness area with sauna, multiple pools - also outside - as well as yoga, various types of massage and much more. Parking is plentiful and available

The meals are something to look forward to each time - very fresh and well prepared. The spa and pool areas are relaxing and a perfect way to end a day spent exploring the area

Delightful, traditional, family-run since 1935. The family members participate in activities laid on for the guests such as hiking in the idyllic Black Forest or sightseeing in nearby Freiburg and much more

The restaurant serves meals for guests with many local ingredients and the wine choice is good. Some guests have been regulars for many years which speaks for itself

Despite neatly placed pillows and blankets, the bedsheets are still wrinkled with hair on it, making me wonder whether they change the beddings at all

I saw nude swimming, so I had to bring my own swimsuit, which is sold in the surrounding stores. Hygiene: tidy Summer and winter should be the best times, and the lake often fogs up in October

We took the "Respite" package which included very well sorted buffet breakfast and a delightful 4-course dinner, in-house Spa, pool, massage, and all kind of activities included with the Hoch Schwarzwald card (e-biking, etc) one gets for free at the reception, what else can you ask! Totally recommended!

Unfortunately we were under time pressure, arrived late afternoon and had to leave early the next day, so could not take advantage of the various other offerings included in the price like the wellness area and pool

The sauna, infrared room, steam bath, salt bath, dip chamber etc etc, 2 pools and a floating dock on the lake. This is the only place to stay on the water and it is gorgeous

A warm welcome at the reception, everything explained and a generous room and balcony overlooking the lake to follow. Everything was well set up, thought through and appointed

Comfortable king size bed and good size bathroom and toilet. The service and kitchen worked very professionally and to a standard required for a top class establishment

Though check in starts at 1500h, they checked us in early at 1130h because we were cold (it was very cold, -1°C, when we arrived). The lobby is fantastic and they have a very nice fire in an open fireplace in the evening

Hotel Waldeck is a very good hotel, with an excellent bar and pleasant service. The cocktail menu holds a lot of own creations as well as some other great drinks, which are attributed to their creators

The staff is very knowledgeable about the drinks and the different flavors. It is evident that a lot of thought goes into the design of the selections

They also hold a broad variety of whiskey 🥃 My expectations were excelled and the different tastes were very rich and quite exciting

We asked her did they do soup they did the soup of the day was asparagus it was without a doubt the most delicious soup we had tasted they were so welcoming to us we looked a bit untidy

Excellent location on the lake with free parking and spacious rooms. The rooms were clean but quite dated. They also have a nice garden leading to the lake but this also was in need of work. The view makes up for it!

We didn't get any of the usual freebies of the region (free public transport, free parking paid for by visitor's tax). For check-out nobody was available at the reception

Communication on the other hand didn't work: When I missed a call by the host I called back, but she insisted she hadn't called me, just to call me again 5 minutes later

Reasonably priced and good value for your money: nice, clean and cosy, if a little old fashioned, no sufficient heating and flickering lights in the corridor

We have stayed in the Vier Jahreszeiten in Schluchsee for probably the last seven or eight years. It’s only about a 90-minute drive from our home in Switzerland and it feels like a home away from home in many ways

What felt like a hidden gem We had a fantastic week here with our extended family, facilities and service was superb from concierge to dining. Would highly recommend and definitely go back.

This year, I thought what the heck, why not ask if it’s possible to make one for me. So I asked Herr Strassburg, the head of the dining room. He said he would see what he can do

Years ago on the dinner menu they had an amazing dessert. It was a warm chocolate cake with ice cream. Over the years I’ve always hoped they would have it on the menu again

I really appreciated his willingness to try to make it happen. And what do you know, the next day at dinner I had it. It was as great as I remembered it

Most importantly, it was a real sign of how Herr Strassburg, but also the whole team here, really try to fulfill their customers’ desires

Friendly, hardworking staff can sometimes be found in other hotels, but what is also great about the Parkhotel Flora is the fact that everyone is well trained and attentive! Not only at meal times (breakfast and an excellent multi-course dinner) every wish and need is read from the guests' mouths

We chose the Parkhotel Flora for our stay in the Black Forest because of the many positive reviews and were not disappointed. The whole house and grounds feel very well maintained

Very nicely decorated hotel. Perfect for relaxing. Food is excellent. Staff is responsive to guests' requests. When we left, we spontaneously booked birthdays for next year.

The hotel is a very old building and has bags of character. On this day of all days we were so glad of the spa. It was lovely to relax and soak tired legs in the pool

The hotel also has a small "snug" bar where we enjoyed a few drinks before bed. Breakfast was buffet style and also great quality. We couldn't resist having a glass of sekt with the tasty smoked salmon

The hotel, situated perfectly in the town centre, was a welcome sight, and despite looking like drowned rat's we were welcomed in. The hotel is quaintly decorated in a traditional style which I love

Service at this hotel was very good (I apologise I really should have taken down people's names) I would say this was my favourite hotel of the trip so far, purely based on service and atmosphere

Great cozy place. Breakfast is great and only 15-20 minutes from Feldberg.

We stayed here with our dog for 1 night. Room was affordable compared to other hotels. Unfortunately we could not test the wellness area in the short time. Location at the park perfect for dog owners

however, there are cats in the house. good, that there was an elevator, and we always drove directly to the room with the dog :-)

They tried to rise the price adding 2 times 5 euro tax...in internet was 110, they asked in the morning 120 in the end i payed 115...be sure to pay in front to avoid paying extra, personal friendly and place was clean

All rooms can only be reached on foot. There is no elevator in the whole building. The rooms are all very old but clean. Bathrobes and towels as well as bathing shoes are available

The hotel is somewhat secluded near the edge of the forest in Saig. Half board is recommended as the nearest place to eat is a 10-minute walk away. The whole hotel is very old but will be renovated next winter

The surrounding area is stunning. The views on clear days are truly spectacular. With eye you can just see the cable cars going up and down this hill

We were very satisfied! All the staff were very polite and helpful! The food was also very good! The hotel is a bit old! You just have to ignore it! The walls are quite thin so it's hard to hear anything!

Despite the cold winter weather, we really enjoyed our stay. The two children (11 and 13 years old) had fun in the large swimming pool, the bowling alley and the table football table
