Where to stay in Feldberg

We picked this hotel and location for our first vacation with our puppy, and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff, location and offering of the hotel made it relaxing and fun for both us and the puppy. There are lots of things to do in the area and our highlight was the dog friendly lake a short distance away.

I visit this hotel last year and it's still the best hotel I have ever been to! The staff were so kind, the rooms were clean the food was amazing and the view was just like as if you're in a picture! 100% worth visiting

Hotel is located right on the road, therefore the rooms are extremely loud. Pool and sauna are lovely, but very small for the number of guests for the hotel of such size. We couldn’t even get beds in the resting area. Same issue with the breakfast buffet, which has a great variety of choices, but placed in a very narrow passage. I stayed here in the late 80's and early 90's for family skiing vacation finding it online brings back so many great memories for me. I hope someday to return to visit the Sonneck and the Feldberg-Schwarzwald area. I am happy to see that this place is still vibrant and well run.

We had a great time at Hotel-Pension Kräutle. The apartment was perfect - clean, fully equipped and well maintained. The area is beautiful and quiet. But above all - the pleasant service of Anna and Martin was above all standards. We definitely recommend staying at Hotel-Pension Kräutle!

Finally a very good meal in the Region. Booked through Michelin (like other nights at other places) and we were not disappointed. Excellent aspargus, salad, local game dishes and local deserts. So great food by the family chef. Very good and personable service. If there was one disappointment it was the wine list which had many items, but overall not a great selection of quality wines.

We stayed for 2 days in this hotel run by a Swiss couple. There are enough parking spaces at the hotel. The room was very clean and lovingly furnished. The food is excellent! Just great. Very good service, nice clean and large room, al new, a new clean bathroom, very good breakfast and very kindley people. We came here for skiing. But there was not enough snow. The owners give us a card for this region. So we can for free with bus/train for free to several swimmingpools and other to do's. Its even the skipass! But there was not snow. We come back for sure!

Beautiful location with multiple great hikes in the near area. We arrived later in the evening but this was not a problem at all. We had a warm welcome and the hosts are incredibly friendly. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious and the view from the balcony is amazing. Breakfast was really nice too. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Absolute winter dream! Huge natural trunk house with approx. 200 square meters, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and garden. The underfloor heating made the whole thing even more comfortable. The log houses are unique, unfortunately the style of the houses is not consistent. The wow factor on the ground floor is partly lost on the upper floor. The outdoor sauna with its panorama window is also an experience and to this day I have not experienced anything comparable in terms of quality in connection with a chalet. Thuja hedges and concrete kerbstones in the outdoor area do not fit these...

I came here to write a review, having not eaten here in years. I still dream about the gravy they make - literally the best gravy I've ever had accompany my dish. If nothing else, phone them up and ask when they are making a batch and slowly drive by with your windows down. An all 5 sense experience. Incredible.

Nothing like a hot shower, a three course meal of comfort food and a soft pillow after a day of skiing. The owners attended us so nicely. The WiFi did not reach the room and we would have loved the room to be heated up better at the beginning, but nothing the view did not make up for. Thanks!

We stayed in apartment 1 for a short skiing holiday. The booking was quick and easy. The apartment is clean and cozy, the kitchen is well equipped. The contact with the landlords was friendly and pleasant.
