Overall, it's a nice hotel considering price-value. Rooms are clean, and comfortable. However, I wouldn't say there are enough facilities like kettle, cups, etc. We took booking with breakfast, and it was pretty good. There was a variety of different food, e.g. scrumbbled eggs, bread, coffee, fruit salad, vegetables, cheese, etc. Location is also good, although not that close to the center. The center can be reached from nearby tram station. Overall, I do recommend. The only thing it was not allowed to check-in earlier, no exceptions, strictly from 3pm which I found very strict and not flexible at all.

The stay there was as it should be. Everything was fine, well cared, and cosy. I would like to thank specifically to Siman (hope I have written it well). He is one of the hotel staff, and worked mainly in the restaurant during my stay. He is kind, hillarious and very professional. His treatment to us was perfect, and very personal, and we are very thankful for it.

I recently stayed at the hotel in Freiburg as the tour leader of a Spanish group, and I want to highlight the excellent service we received from one of the receptionists. I don’t recall his name exactly, but he was Latino, spoke fluent Spanish, and welcomed us with such kindness and professionalism.

From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything went smoothly — solving every issue that came up and always going the extra mile to help us. His attention, patience, and genuine care made a real difference, both for me and for the entire group.

Exceptional service like his truly stands out. Thank you so much for making our stay in Freiburg such a positive experience!

Booked a room for 69 Euros. It's 2.5 km from city centre but with nice quite garden and rooms. Tremendous staff, large clean rooms. I did not take breakfast but it looks nice. Free coffee and great snacks snd beers like Riegele

The hotel is very quietly located in a newly built residential/office complex. The rooms are okay, unfortunately lacking a wardrobe, but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.

Great value for money, and they also cater to your needs.

Unfortunately, the pillows were uncomfortable and the room wasn't as clean as it should be.

I've only stayed one night. The single bed was comfortable. I liked especially the pillows as they were actually filled (not like in other hotels where it only looks fluffy). The breakfast selection was great too, everything one needs to be satisfied and more. The Service in general was very polite and fast. I also liked the design of the lobby and there's plenty of space to rest/wait if needed.

I enjoy my stay at super 8. It is clean and comfortable. I have nothing to complain, so much so I extended another night on top of the original booking. ( This is not critique more like user feedback-- sometimes only those who uses it would notice and hope hotel could look into it ) The water outflow at the sink and the bath place seems slower than the water flow from the tap hence could flood easily. Perhaps could use some unclogging. If there is anything one want to " pick on" ( personally I don't think there is any), this place is about 30mins or 2.2km walk from the hbf train station. You could either take a stroll and admire the scenery on the way, or if you dislike walking, take tram no2 which cost mere €2.90 one way, less than 10 mins ride.

Hotel and rooms are good.
But no free parking. You can drive down all the streets nearby in the evening...you won't find a parking space.
Conclusion: You have to rely on the hotel's underground car park...the price is steep...18 euros per night.

Next time I will avoid this hotel.

I would rather have something a little more expensive but free parking.
