On a recent trip to Friedrichshafen, I had to depart my first hotel for being really poor quality. Looking at what else was available, I was drawn to Hotel City Krone via the reviews and good location. I'm glad I did, as my stay was a delight. We stayed in a Premier plus room and found it light spacious and very quiet. The room was in excellent condition and was very clean. A great weekend place or longer stay The hotel is in an excellent spot in Friedrichshafen. We had a beautiful room that was well appointed with lots of extras that American travelers are accustomed to: refrigerator, coffee maker, plenty of towels. The properties well maintained. The hotel felt secure.

For FAKUMA show only, Just good location, that is it. Be careful for the rate when they quote to you, which was not correct! Better to reserve from Trip.com instead their front desk at all!

A bit old but clean and decently modern rooms

Our stay was excellent, we enjoyed the quiet, clean and roomy conditions. We’ll definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Not very convenient! Far from the station

The room is big and clean, with a balcony. The breakfast is great. The downside is that it is a bit far from the city center, but you can take a taxi for 10 euros or take the 50-meter-long landratsamt to Friedrichshafen stadt. There is also a large supermarket at the door. The receptionist was very enthusiastic to help with the car delivery and luggage storage, which is very good, I think.

The hotel was booked for one night (as a transit guest). The room was located in an older guesthouse, but was functionally furnished (with a new bathroom), although it lacked air conditioning, which made sleeping a bit more difficult on hot days. Conveniently located within a 10-minute bus ride from the station. Amenities were plentiful, including hand soap, body soap (for hair, face, and body), three types of towels, and a bottle of carbonated water. A hair dryer is also provided, so you can reduce the amount of luggage you need to bring. You can check in yourself using a tablet, but if you booked through Trip.com, you can tell the staff....

Conditions at hotel are ok but check in process is a nightmare. No front desk. We have to use entry panel. We have follwed to the instruction but can't walk inside. Have to call to very unpleased lady and after phone, somehow, key felt down from drawer. After 30min process with nerves we walked in to room.

Very misleading A very missleading stay from what is advertised. There is a spa although you have to pay €19.50pp to use it. The “hot tub” in the spa is just a 1 person jacuzzi bath which you must also buy on top of the spa costs. At night all the heating was turned off so it was very cold. Lodged here for a short time as it was fair priced and not too far away from the places I had in mind. Check in is really 24 hours ( key box ). Interior ( carpets for instance ) could be better but considering the price it was okay. On-site parking is additional 5 EUR and off-site parking spaces are rare. The actual location which can be noisy. Staff was friendly.

I give this hotel a three star review, the pros: Room was big and clean Cheap Quick check in Cons: The whole hotel smelt of smoken, the walls are very thin, and the front desk man was very sarcastic and a bit rude.

First a little bit difficult to find your key, the room was spacious but warm in the night.

Comfortable lodging in a historic building in an excellent location steps from the train station and across the street from Lake Constance. Excellent service. Outstanding breakfast in a beautiful setting.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Keeping in mind you get what you pay for, the shower was awful! No water pressure, hot and cold. #1 room loud next to the street and light. Request a different room or bring ear plugs and sleeping mask.

Funny Restaurant, the Schnitzel is very delicious and the beer is good as well.

Firstly what a lovely, wonderful couple that own and run the guesthouse. So accommodating and friendly. The rooms were of a very high standard, extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. The internet was nice and fast (measured it at over 50 Mbps) so I could comfortably watch Netflix in the evenings without any lag. Located just 12 mins from downtown Friedrichshafen so was ideal for me to get to work...

Lovely bakery/cafe. Wonderful cakes and chocolates. Staff very friendly. They also do brunch even on a Sunday.

Cosy place to get your coffee and delicious cakes. Sunday buffet breakfast at 10€ per adult is available. Kids below 5 years are free. Kids-friendly place. Open till 17:00.

The place is very cozy, it isn't too cramped and it also has outdoor seats. The service was good, waiters could be a little nicer though. The food was amazing and for the price, it is very worth it. It was my first time eating in a greek restaurant, and I'm happy that my first bite of greek food was at this restaurant!

Great apartment in a great location. You can walk to the city and the lake very quickly. Very nice hostess who was very easy to reach and took care of everything. The rooms are well equipped. Only the towels are quite thin and therefore quickly wet. Overall very good value for money
