Very comfortable room and friendly staff in the breakfast area. The only down side was when our room door opened at about 7:30 or 8 in the morning and then was closed again. We assumed it was housekeeping

Great location as only a few minutes walk to Lake Constance and the outdoor swimming pools. Close to bus and train links and very helpful reception staff. Recommend.

There was no knock but it was lucky we were still in bed and not getting dressed

However, if the house is full on weekends, you will not be able to use it at your desired times due to its size (maximum 10 people). On the other hand, during the week we sometimes kept him completely to himself

We stayed at the Hotel Knoblauch for 4 nights in a double room with balcony. The rooms were in excellent condition, as was the cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and always greeted you with a smile

😊 In our opinion, the restaurant was the absolute highlight of the dinner. We've rarely eaten so well. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit, even if you are not staying at the hotel

Once upon a time we didn't want to eat anywhere else. The only "little" criticism is that the breakfast was the same every morning, so a little variety would have been nice

It's a few steps away from the pier. All kinds of restaurants and shops around you. A big supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Good clean room with enough space. It was a pleasant 11 day business stay

Close to the Promenade and in the main tourist area. Breakfast was fine. Didn't bother to cross the street to go to the room in the next building.

Good service, awesome breakfast. Value for money. Location is fantastic. Near the waterfront restaurants, 5 minutes from the bus station and 15 minutes from the main bus/train station.

The hotel is close to the Ufer promenade (lake). I just tried the food here. It was ok.

The good - Location is fantastic. The OK - No hotel parking - you have to drag your luggage to the rooms from the parking garage. The hotel has two separate buildings, and we ended up in the one behind the reception

We orderd quickly, and the food and drink came promptly, accompanied by friendly attentive staff. An hour and a half later, the place was full (we counted at least 48 guests), and more were coming

Come with your bike and tip a Radler for your effort! This place seems to be one of those local secrets. We'd suggest coming early, or reserving ahead of time, especially if your group is larger than four guests

Otherwise, there are cold meals and drinks available, with the breath-taking view. Parking is tight, and right inside the door is a sign addressing the problem, helpfully offering suggestions

There was some chopped "Eisbergsalat" (head lettuce) in the side salad - I prefer a deep green colourful mix of different leaf lettuce, and it was a bit too vinegary for my taste

Very good restaurant with typical German dishes. Price is fair for the quality and quantity. Buildind is a pretty and nice guesthouse located in a hill with view to the lake

Families with busy small children, or couples with well-behaved dogs are also welcome. There were many vegetarian options on the daily menu, with homemade "Spätzle" noodles

We were allowed to spend a week at the Ringhotel Krone and let ourselves be pampered. The food, the rooms, the wellness area, everything was great. Despite the tense environment, the staff are very, very friendly

It has not changed for some time

Usually have good experiences, mainly with a reception and breakfast, rooms are also nice and clean but i had two bad experiences during my last 2 stays where the cleaning ladies took my personal towel which was never returned and no warm water in the shower which resulted that I was sick after taking it

Next time you are around Lake Constance, you can't go wrong to stay here They have a small fee for underground parking. Remember to ask for a token to leave if you want to exit the underground parking

Great Central location right by train/bus station, so traveling around is a breeze! Also close by to almost everything you could need to walk to! Definitely recommend. We stay here everytime we are in Friedrichshafen

The location is centrally located with bus and train stops very close, meters away from the water’s edge and it was safe to walk around the area at all times of the day and night

The bar and restaurant were great, but the shining feature is the fantastic staff

Nice hotel in the heart of the city in a pedestrian area. Close to the station, and ferry. If you need the stores, they are also all within walking distance. A rich buffet Breakfast.

There have been various options to choose from, not many vegetarian dishes though (to my surprise!)

This stunning well run restaurant is a revelation the staff are well trained and more than professional they are multi lingual and look after all your needs the menu reflect the current local produce that is prepared to perfection, this Restaurant should be on your list of places to go

Restaurant is such an experience. You must visit few times and try different food so you can judge. I will consider the food in this restaurant as very good. I would recommend people to try the food here

Very nice spacious hotel, although the hotel was large it felt cozy and the level of service was similar to a small family hotel.

Simple, casual hotel with a rustic ambience! The rooms are nice, clean and cozy! The restaurant offers a good selection of home cooking! The sauna area is unfortunately not available every day of the week, as local women's clubs also hold their evenings there! Free parking at the house!

Very friendly staff, great price and clean rooms. Rooms are all in different styles. Vending machines, free WiFi and computer station. Supermarket across the street

Interior ( carpets for instance ) could be better but considering the price it was okay. On-site parking is additional 5 EUR and off-site parking spaces are rare. The actual location which can be noisy

Lodged here for a short time as it was fair priced and not too far away from the places I had in mind. Check in is really 24 hours ( key box )

I give this hotel a three star review, the pros: Room was big and clean Cheap Quick check in Cons: The whole hotel smelt of smoken, the walls are very thin, and the front desk man was very sarcastic and a bit rude.

The location is excellent, on the beginning of the promenade, 2 min from the Hauptbahnhof and Rewe, 5 min from the Palace, 12 min from the port (with hourly boats to Konstanz, Meersburg etc)

There is small private parking available for 8 eur a day, but you can also park in the street, the maximum daily fee is 6 eur - subject to availability, of course

The rooms are big and clean, with a big nice bathroom. The only drawback is the lack of balcony, but you don't spend a lot of time in the room anyway

Good place to stay. 5 minutes railway station, ten minutes walk to the harbour and just 3 minutes to walk on the shore of Bodensee lake.

We always stay here. Comfortable and a nice bar! And the food here is pretty darn good!

Relaxed hotel for holidays and business trips in Friedrichshafen. As it's a bit away from the main street, rooms are a lot more quiet than other hotels. The restaurant has nice outside seating in the summer

Decent place. Near to the lake and other eminities. Has no AC in the rooms could be horrible in summer

The service was nice, plenty of (underground) parking place. The issue with the rooms is that there is no AC installed, so summer nights can be pritty hot and the lighting in the room was with fluorescent bars

Besides that the balcony is really spacious and there is seeting available. The restaurant is oke the only problem with that, is that you need to pay directly and cannot put it on a tab of the room
