The facility is beautifully designed and appointed, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the gracious, accommodating service is impeccable, the breakfast wonderful, the atmosphere peaceful and the location perfect

The staff is very kindly. Room was very large, large garden and magnificent swimming pools. The beakfast is very complete with a large selection of products. The terrace is very pleasant for dining or having a drink.

My husband and I got massages but there was just a curtain or thin partition between the rooms so you could hear everything the other person was saying. Not so relaxing for those looking to disconnect

This stunning well run restaurant is a revelation the staff are well trained and more than professional they are multi lingual and look after all your needs the menu reflect the current local produce that is prepared to perfection, this Restaurant should be on your list of places to go

The hotel is in a good, quiet location. The rooms are modern and practical. It's great that the hotel offers treatments with an osteopath. I was very happy about that last year. We also used the guest card often

Restaurant is such an experience. You must visit few times and try different food so you can judge. I will consider the food in this restaurant as very good. I would recommend people to try the food here

The rooms are spacious and come with a fridge, minibar selection, heating control and A/C. The only thing that is not in the room is a kettle. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone

Relaxing lounge area and outside winter garden if weather is good. The food was absolutely delicious, accommodation in big, modern rooms spotlessly clean and soundproofed from the passing traffic on the main road

It had everything you could realistically hope for and was very quiet. The extension has also created an underground car park where I was able to securely park my motorcycle for the night

Spent 4 lovely days seeing the sights around Lake Constance based in a wonderful 4 star family run hotel - Maier in Fischbach which is only a short bus ride from Friedrichshafen

Train straight from airport (Ryanair flights) into Friedrichshafen then local bus only five minutes to the suburb. (One ticket for 1 EU 70 covers the train and the bus for the entire journey

However, if the house is full on weekends, you will not be able to use it at your desired times due to its size (maximum 10 people). On the other hand, during the week we sometimes kept him completely to himself

We stayed at the Hotel Knoblauch for 4 nights in a double room with balcony. The rooms were in excellent condition, as was the cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and always greeted you with a smile

Once upon a time we didn't want to eat anywhere else. The only "little" criticism is that the breakfast was the same every morning, so a little variety would have been nice

Great Central location right by train/bus station, so traveling around is a breeze! Also close by to almost everything you could need to walk to! Definitely recommend. We stay here everytime we are in Friedrichshafen

However there were a few areas where the hotel could improve their services: - of two elevators, only 1 was working and we were on the 4th floor - the reception staff could make more effort to be smiling and welcoming - there was only one coffee machine in the dining room ( another behind the bar but generally inaccessible)

The hotel is a little distance out of Friedrichshafen but i was given a free pass for unlimited use of the trains and buses when i checked in, which was generous and unexpected

There is a train stop and bus stop almost directly opposite the hotel. My room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation

The only negative is the room i was staying in did not have air conditioning but apart from this i had a great stay

Relaxed hotel for holidays and business trips in Friedrichshafen. As it's a bit away from the main street, rooms are a lot more quiet than other hotels. The restaurant has nice outside seating in the summer

Comfortable lodging in a historic building in an excellent location steps from the train station and across the street from Lake Constance. Excellent service. Outstanding breakfast in a beautiful setting.

The location is excellent, on the beginning of the promenade, 2 min from the Hauptbahnhof and Rewe, 5 min from the Palace, 12 min from the port (with hourly boats to Konstanz, Meersburg etc)

There is small private parking available for 8 eur a day, but you can also park in the street, the maximum daily fee is 6 eur - subject to availability, of course

The rooms are big and clean, with a big nice bathroom. The only drawback is the lack of balcony, but you don't spend a lot of time in the room anyway

The room was very clean, although a little small, but very nice. It was very close to the station, about 200 meters away. The morning was also good

Simple, casual hotel with a rustic ambience! The rooms are nice, clean and cozy! The restaurant offers a good selection of home cooking! The sauna area is unfortunately not available every day of the week, as local women's clubs also hold their evenings there! Free parking at the house!

Very misleading A very missleading stay from what is advertised. There is a spa although you have to pay €19. The “hot tub” in the spa is just a 1 person jacuzzi bath which you must also buy on top of the spa costs

Conditions at hotel are ok but check in process is a nightmare. We have follwed to the instruction but can't walk inside. Have to call to very unpleased lady and after phone, somehow, key felt down from drawer

It's a few steps away from the pier. All kinds of restaurants and shops around you. A big supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Good clean room with enough space. It was a pleasant 11 day business stay

Close to the Promenade and in the main tourist area. Breakfast was fine. Didn't bother to cross the street to go to the room in the next building.

Good service, awesome breakfast. Value for money. Location is fantastic. Near the waterfront restaurants, 5 minutes from the bus station and 15 minutes from the main bus/train station.

The hotel is close to the Ufer promenade (lake). I just tried the food here. It was ok.

The good - Location is fantastic. The OK - No hotel parking - you have to drag your luggage to the rooms from the parking garage. The hotel has two separate buildings, and we ended up in the one behind the reception

Lodged here for a short time as it was fair priced and not too far away from the places I had in mind. Check in is really 24 hours ( key box )

I give this hotel a three star review, the pros: Room was big and clean Cheap Quick check in Cons: The whole hotel smelt of smoken, the walls are very thin, and the front desk man was very sarcastic and a bit rude.

The hotel has good accommodations, wonderful amenities (do try the wellness area), a friendly and professional staff, and is in a prime and peaceful location, with easy access to plenty of good shops, and entertainment venue, and fine restaurants (I suggest giving s'Wirtshaus am See on the waterfront a try)

On a recent trip to Friedrichshafen, I had to depart my first hotel for being really poor quality. Looking at what else was available, I was drawn to Hotel City Krone via the reviews and good location

I'd like to specifically mention Stefan, who I interacted a few times at the front desk. He was professional, gracious, and accommodating in a manner worthy of praise

hotel has good central location - could be rather more generous with towels - i know protecting planet important but no excuse for poor service only one towel for twin room

We orderd quickly, and the food and drink came promptly, accompanied by friendly attentive staff. An hour and a half later, the place was full (we counted at least 48 guests), and more were coming

Come with your bike and tip a Radler for your effort! This place seems to be one of those local secrets. We'd suggest coming early, or reserving ahead of time, especially if your group is larger than four guests

Otherwise, there are cold meals and drinks available, with the breath-taking view. Parking is tight, and right inside the door is a sign addressing the problem, helpfully offering suggestions

There was some chopped "Eisbergsalat" (head lettuce) in the side salad - I prefer a deep green colourful mix of different leaf lettuce, and it was a bit too vinegary for my taste

Very good restaurant with typical German dishes. Price is fair for the quality and quantity. Buildind is a pretty and nice guesthouse located in a hill with view to the lake

Families with busy small children, or couples with well-behaved dogs are also welcome. There were many vegetarian options on the daily menu, with homemade "Spätzle" noodles
