Very nice place to stay in the calmness of the Black Forest. Quiet, yet just a few minute from Baden-Baden. The owner-chef was very nice and helpful. The food was great and we enjoyed the time in breakfast and dinner a lot!
The room was very nice and clean (water and coffee included), but can use a touch of slightly better maintenance.

Best German restaurant I have tried so far, local products, local talent and service, I personally took the Ragout and has been the best I have tried, I didn't hesitate to give 5 stars, definitely worth to try.
We had dinner here.A very intim place. The chef took us the orders as well. Very professional, calm and with a wonderful gift of cooking. My son connected with him like in 3 minutes. For sure we will come back.
If I lived in the area, this would be the place I go to at least once a week. The food was awesome, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was great. You won't be disappointed.

Did not stay or eat in the Hotel but the set up outside is very nice with Fall decoration . The view is beautiful so it is worth a visit because the surrounding Towns are also very nice . I stayed on this hotel with my wife for five nights and we absolutely loved it! The location is amazing, in the middle of the black forest the room was comfortable and spacious. The included breakfast it was so so good that it would deserve a review on itself. If you're looking for a relaxing place in touch with nature, this is the place. I definitely recommend it.

There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

The owners were supremely hospitable and helpful. Intact they even helped a girl who had locked her keys in her car even though agree wasn't a guest on the hotel. I would certainly come again!
Service was absolutely amazing but the parking was a little tricky with all of the construction in the area at the time. I would recommend this place though. Good location. Walking distance to the casino and many other nice places.

The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony. But there were many problems - the water temperature in the showers was not consistent, there no acs so the rooms are very hot, etc During our stay there was also construction nearby so it was extremely.
Great place to stay to explore Baden-Baden. The hotel is located on narrow streets up a steep hill overlooking the town. The town centre is approx 15 minutes away on foot but we highly recommend getting a taxi back. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed.

Overall this was an excellent hotel experience, one of the best. It made for a very relaxing time in Baden-Baden. Have to say one of the BEST hotels we stayed in on our trip round Europe. We wanted to explore so didn’t make use of the Spa this time but it looked like a great experience.
The breakfast was a 10/10 with a lovely waitress taking our order as soon as we sat down. Such good options were available.

A nice typical German spa town cafe. I needed espresso, eggs, bread, cheese and cured meat for breakfast and found it all here! Next time I would stay here.

I don't know the hotel, only talking about the restaurant.
Waiters speak German and English.
The menu was not very well organized, but the service was helpful and explained us everything.
We had a "menu" with soup as starter, salad, main dish, and dessert, for more or less 18€.
Compared to others restaurants nearby, I think that this one is a good option.
The hotel is functional, nothing special in the room, we had a mobile air condition which most of the time was leaking water, the service and staff are very welcoming and helpful, the breakfest is good and the food at the hotel restaurant is delicious!
Overall Baden is an expensive city so the value for money in this hotel is good.
Way too long waiting time till the dishes will be ready. Also the allergens specification in the menu is totally messed up, there is an error in every second dish.
Good duck, but the steaks are overdried.

It's a bit of a walk up the mountain, but the view is great and there's a big balcony. But checkin is slow and many things are not provided, for example, some people have disposable toothbrushes and some don't. The overall experience is OK.
The hotel I stayed in when I first came to Germany. No passport was required and I could check in directly. The lock of the single room was broken, so I had to re-acquire another room and it was upgraded for free. Overall, the price/performance ratio was very high and breakfast was included

Geroldsauer Muhle is just outside Baden Baden. It is a perfect place to stop for a proper German lunch. The building also has a mini shop and a high end supermarket with a bakery, cake section and meats. The restaurant food was large and delicious. We had the curry wurst and pork which were both great. Typical local food and lively atmosphere on weekends. The dishes are quite straightforward and the service is average. There is a somewhat commercial feel to the restaurant, which is typical for this type of food. Decent place for German food in Baden-Baden, in particular on sunny days.

Excellent apartment: clean, spacious and with all amenities. When we were here there was a lot of noise in the hallway in the evening and morning. Because there's no personnel on site, there was nobody to take action on the noise.

Very responsive hosts. The level of repair of the device is very high, it is very comfortable to live in such housing. From the outside of the house, you will never say that everything is so comfortably furnished there!

For the price very nice room and good location. Check-in was a bit complicated as the door code didn't work and we had to call 3 different phone numbers.
Large, clean and modern furnished apartment. The shower was noticeably large. The breakfast room was small - it was difficult to keep your distance here - but due to the few guests it worked well. The breakfast was plentiful and lovingly prepared. Scrambled eggs were offered fresh.

Under the circumstances due to COVID19, it was a very successful stay.

Probably typical for the area, but the rooms were rather small. The bathroom door won't even open 90 degrees before it hits the toilet, and there is no room to move around. No A/C in the room, either, which we knew ahead of time, but it's worth mentioning.
