Did not stay or eat in the Hotel but the set up outside is very nice with Fall decoration . The view is beautiful so it is worth a visit because the surrounding Towns are also very nice . You can drive up to the Hotel with the car so for people with disability or if you just taking a ride it is perfect too

On new year's eve my friend and I wanted to take the last S-bahn train home after celebrating the new year in Gernbach Altstadt. Unfortunately some strange men started following and harassing us and we ended up missing the last train. We weren't the only ones that missed the train and together as a group of 4 women we tried to shake these men off. Because we were afraid and especially with groups...
Staff was Very Friendly!. Even we don't understand the German Language, they manage to make our stay Enjoyable. All Necessities that we needed are all walking distance! (Food, Transportation and Supplies) for our 14 Day stay in Gernsbach!

I stayed on this hotel with my wife for five nights and we absolutely loved it! The location is amazing, in the middle of the black forest the room was comfortable and spacious. The included breakfast it was so so good that it would deserve a review on itself. If you're looking for a relaxing place in touch with nature, this is the place. I definitely recommend it.

I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

We stayed for three nights. We took the train in then hopped on bus 201. Frau Peter's told us via email where to get off. Our room was spotless and modern. Breakfat was a typical German breakfast and delicious. Both Herr and Frau were a wealth of information and so friendly. We either walked to town center via a lovely parkway or took the bus. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend.
Loved the no nonsense clean tidy efficient room. Excellent breakfast. Great value for money and on the bus route to the town centre.
Service, service, service! Welcomed with very friendly, English speaking, host. Parking was easy. Building is older but in great shape. Room was good size, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom was good. Breakfast was great. Bus stop very close and easily found.
The owners were supremely hospitable and helpful. Intact they even helped a girl who had locked her keys in her car even though agree wasn't a guest on the hotel. I would certainly come again!
Service was absolutely amazing but the parking was a little tricky with all of the construction in the area at the time. I would recommend this place though. Good location. Walking distance to the casino and many other nice places.

The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony. But there were many problems - the water temperature in the showers was not consistent, there no acs so the rooms are very hot, etc During our stay there was also construction nearby so it was extremely.
Great place to stay to explore Baden-Baden. The hotel is located on narrow streets up a steep hill overlooking the town. The town centre is approx 15 minutes away on foot but we highly recommend getting a taxi back. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed.
This hotel was very nice. The room was very spacious and modern with a really cool layout. The breakfast was very good, the staff were all incredibly nice. Overall this was an excellent hotel experience, one of the best. It made for a very relaxing time in Baden-Baden. Getting to the hotel is difficult and the staff had no idea about the public transportation system and we almost missed our train but for convenience to the Caracalla spa it was perfect and you’re able to go directly into the spa and even pay at the hotel.
Best place in Baden
The best! I’m a frequent guest at Aqua Aurelia. Probably have stayed there 25 times and it is always consistent and good. Really good. I don’t have staff names correct, but two women and guys are always great - Gi, Kathy, Rene, and guy that works both desk and restaurant, as needed.
Beautiful spacious rooms at the best central location with underground direct passage to the spa. Very clean, modern, kind staff and exceptional service. I totally recommend it.
Lost one star in overall grading for 2 reasons. No one is speaking english not even the reception desk and it was hard to communicate. Also there is no reception desk service in the evening / night and the door was locked...

Cute little hotel! I did love it. Breakfast was very nice and a lot of options. Just across the street from thermal bath house I envoy the stay.
The tables in the room was not tall enough to be used for working and a part of the shower didnt work properly. Apart of that, the location is perfect and is a good price/benefit ratio.

The gentleman who checked us in was very abrupt and grumpy. He acted as if we were inconveniencing him to be there. Each question was given a vague, unhelpful reply. Perhaps it is time to retire, since he doesn’t appear to be enjoying his job anymore. Otherwise, lovely stay in an old world hotel.

We stopped here during a family trip. I’d way under estimated the place from when I booked it. Just walking into the lobby showed that this place was very nice. Rooms confirmed this. Very nice rooms, huge comfortable beds, good bathrooms.
Spa and wellness centre was free to use and has a pool, 2 saunas and a steam room. Towels and robes were supplied in the room.

Stayed at Leonardo Royal hotel with my son whilst on a bike tour. We arrived very hot and sweaty after a day riding in sweltering heat from Reims and were offered a glass of water each which was a kind gesture and greatly appreciated. The hotel is lovely and clean and the room exceeded our expectations with great facilities and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of food...

Geroldsauer Muhle is just outside Baden Baden. It is a perfect place to stop for a proper German lunch. The building also has a mini shop and a high end supermarket with a bakery, cake section and meats. The restaurant food was large and delicious. We had the curry wurst and pork which were both great. The Black Forest cake was a great way to end the meal. Service was also excellent. Paid 51 euros...
Typical local food and lively atmosphere on weekends. The dishes are quite straightforward and the service is average. There is a somewhat commercial feel to the restaurant, which is typical for this type of food. Decent place for German food in Baden-Baden, in particular on sunny days.

The hotel is pretty dated. As a matter of fact, there was an ongoing major renovation project which generated a lot of noise. On the other hand, the location is perfect for those wanting to go to the two major baths in Baden Baden which are located about a block from the hotel. The same is true for the pleasant pedestrian area/district also located a block from the hotel.
Very central location, large, spacious rooms, and there's room for improvement in terms of comfort, such as a larger TV and a comfortable armchair for watching TV, rather than just a regular chair...!!!
This was a good choice for a short trip. Walking distance to the old town and spa. The room could use additional lighting. It was very dark.

The Hotel Bischoff is located in the beautiful center of Baden-Baden and yet quietly located opposite the Friedrichsbad. You have to pick up the key at the Hotel Laterne and breakfast was also served in the beautifully Christmas-decorated Café Laterne. The room and bathroom are functional with everything you need. The WiFi still has a multi-digit code and is very weak.
Fantastic location opposite the spa complex. Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast fine, but one day it was served at a sister hotel down the road . Building a little noisy from other guests - wooden stairs, echoey hallway, but it wouldn’t stop me staying here again.
They mixed up my booking so I didn’t have the bath or balcony I ordered. After one night with a side building view I was swapped up to the attic with a better view and more space.
Very nice, beautiful and clean room. But for hotel of 3 stars there was no place to- for example- refill water or just enjoy coffee out of breakfast hours. Internet doesnt work on phones. No hair dryer. We just came from 2 stars hotel and they had all this.

Bed & pillows good, bathroom with shower ok. Breakfast was good, had a reasonable selection. No 24 hour front desk, restaurant open till 11pm & they can arrange entry.
With a reservation for three people and 2 nights they set up room for 2. 2 towels, 2 coffee pods. You can buy more coffee pods for a cheap machine that didn’t work. Despite receiving an email with an offer to buy breakfast, when leaving the host asked why we didn’t come for breakfast as it was included. He blamed ******* for the email

I recently stayed in room 11 with my 2 teenagers: a queen bed, facing a small kitchenette with a bathroom beyond that and another bed in a loft accessible by a ladder. The loft aspect wasn't clear in the description but was a nice surprise for my 19 yo who was craving a little privacy. However had that been the only bed available to me, I would have struggled with the ladder.

Under the circumstances due to COVID19, it was a very successful stay.
Breakfast was served a la carte and was very tasty and generous. The tables had enough space and were disinfected after each guest. All staff and guests wore a mask.

Class and modern hotel in a prime location in Baden-Baden. Breakfast was a la carte and all necessary safety precautions were taken in the hotel. We felt very comfortable and safe. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly.
Probably typical for the area, but the rooms were rather small. The bathroom door won't even open 90 degrees before it hits the toilet, and there is no room to move around. No A/C in the room, either, which we knew ahead of time, but it's worth mentioning. Would also recommend against using their parking, as they have very limited space and pack many cars into it, so they have to keep your keys so...

We loved everything about this hotel. Highly recommended! Exceptional service from the receptionist and waiters, charming interior, clean and spacious room (we stayed in the suite - the sofa bed was comfortable), and nice breakfast buffet.
Beautiful cozy hotel right in the heart of Baden Baden. Easy walking distance to everything the town has to offer. Room was comfy and staff very friendly. Great spot to stay at.

Staff was super friendly and helped us get our bags up the stairs! The in house Restaurant has good food and service too! It’s well located if you’re doing a 2-3 day trip to baden baden. We got the family room which had plenty of space for the 3 of us and even a separate room for kids. Bathroom was clean and everything we needed was there!
Absolutely phenomenal stay with a lovely staff! We had such a wonderful stay; everything was just amazing. The food in the restaurant was so good for both dinner and breakfast; we highly recommend dinner here.
The customer service was just top notch and they went above and beyond for our family.
I can't even say how much we appreciated the extra set service they provided us.

Wonderful place. Perfect location for town centre and thermae. The people are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is excellent and the wine bar absolutely beatiful.

We stayed here one night and we had a lovely room. The staff were absolutely wonderful. When we arrived late afternoon, they got our luggage to the room and arranged to have a glass of wine waiting for us in their lounge. The lounge was so quaint and relaxing! Breakfast was good and location was great. Unfortunately, we had a rainy day while there but when we came back to the hotel from walking...

As per the concept, the Little Prince is in every room and there are many skylights! If you are a fan of The Little Prince, this is a must-see. However, the building itself is an old European house.
I am absolutely in love with this hotel! The service is superior and the rooms are so comfy, you almost don't want to leave! The little touches left in the room are wonderful BUT the level of service is far and above anything I expected! The staff treats you with such warmth and respect and they are exceptional at their jobs! I will stay here again and again!!
