Leonardo Royal Hotel Baden- Baden

Pros:
1. Convenient location.
2. Hotel after renovation.
3. Very good breakfast! (buffet...red fish, champagne=))
4. Nice staff.

Cons:
1. The hotel is still being renovated. But it is not indicated on the website and it was an unpleasant surprise!
2. The website indicates that there is a swimming pool in the hotel. But upon arrival it turned out that due to the renovation it is not working.
3. Cleaning in the room could be better. Quality control would not hurt.
4. During check-in, at the reception, guests are offered a glass of champagne (for children - soft toys). We were not offered anything until we asked ourselves. A small thing, but still not very pleasant.

Despite the shortcomings, I give 4 points (mainly for the delicious and varied breakfast :) )

We arrived at midnight and were greeted by Criston, very kind, smiling and always ready to help.
He is a wonderful person who made our evening more beautiful with smiles and solutions to our needs.

The hotel is very clean, modern and minimalist design, diversified breakfast with many food options.
All the staff are kind and knowledgeable.

For us, it was the second time staying at this hotel during our journey to the Netherlands. Currently, the hotel is undergoing renovations, so we were fortunate to stay in a beautifully renovated room this time. The new room was tastefully decorated with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Unfortunately, the hotel is quite noisy, and we were woken up early by the construction workers. This was a minor inconvenience, and it might be helpful to inform guests about this during the booking process so they can plan accordingly.

Despite this, the location of the hotel remains a significant advantage. Situated in the charming Baden-Baden and surrounded by beautiful nature, the hotel provides an excellent base for walks and exploring the area. The proximity to local attractions and thermal baths makes it an attractive choice for both travelers passing through and tourists wanting to stay longer. We will certainly consider staying here again, especially after the renovations are completed, to enjoy the improved facilities and the stunning surroundings once more.

Great, new room. Amazing breakfast, new & beautiful spa. It’s 3 min from the amazing park of baden-baden.

We enjoyed our weekend stay in this hotel. Our only concern is that there is construction work going on during the week and naturally there is some noise and dust.

I stayed at Leonardo during a business trip. The room was spacious and clean. All expected amenities were available. Breakfast was a real highlight: well made arrangements of local food and greet choice of coffee. I didn't try the restaurant but the food looked delicious and the bar is well equipped.
Plenty of parking space and a quiet neighborhood together with quick access to the tunnel where the bundesstrasse connects to the autobahn makes this location a good choice. You can easily walk into town within minutes and without mayor traffic.
Pool was not accessible during my stay due renovation but that was mentioned to me.
I can fully recommend Leonardo!

Good location, spacy and clean room, a set of additional pleasure are available like spa, swiming pool even I couldn't use it, didn't have time; and the main carachteristic is the friendless of the reception desk staff!
