The hotel is located far from public transportation, about 20 minutes walk, you can order a taxi. The rooms are large but do not have a refrigerator or an electric kettle. Things like this are required in such a place because you are in a remote place. Stopped in for lunch. It was nice, large portion at a good price. The waitress spoke english and was helpful for me. I had the schnitzel with fried potatoes.

Great steak and shrimp (I preferred the steak), and great side dishes. The personnel were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Excellent atmosphere. Definitely a must do. (And the music playlist was fantastic for all ages !)

Friendly staff and interesting experience to stay two nights in the UNESCO area. Our room was cold and we couldn’t regulate the temperature but a receptionist quickly fixed the issue. We stayed for the Taylor Swift concert and the rooms were so cool!!! Love the concept and how clean the hotel is. Only down side is the shower wall to the room is glass, not a lot of privacy. There is nothing around the hotel at all.

Great value for money. We got a family room with good space and very comfortable beds. Breakfast room was light, airy and with a green planted terrace. We enjoyed our continental breakfast. Staff members were very friendly and polite. Parking is right by the hotel.

Germany Trip Room was not thoroughly cleaned. We found dust on the table and others areas. Refreshments left in the room without explanation that you will be charged if consumed. This was very wrong and should have been told the moment we check in.

Had a room at the top Floor and the best thing about it was the view. The room itself was Ok but nothing fancy. Furniture and bed was quite old and used. Had the door open for some fresh air during the night but this made it very noisy. Breakfast was OK and all in all it was a good stay in this fairly convenient location.

This hotel is situated on a favorable location for people who want to have access to public transport (central train and buss station Gelsenkirchen), stopping mails and the Gelsenkirchen city centre. It has simple but sufficient facilities and rooms. And the price to be payed for the room is okay. Because it is situated in the city centre there is always some noise of course.

Last minute reservation as we had issues with our bathroom at home. I needed a place to use the toilet, shower and sleep. The front desk and Bar staff are friendly and quick.
