The hotel is nice and cozy. Staff is helpful. I enjoyed also the breakfast, it was delicious, highly recommended. When it comes to the rooms, they are a bit outdated.

The design and furniture of the room (wooden) gives the room a very warm feel. The restaurant is awesome. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a nice park around the corner. Despite the distance to the city center, fairly efficient public transit.

Exceptionally friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Choice of food and very good taste. Dessert is a feast for the eyes. However, smaller desserts should also be offered. We'll be back anyway!

Even if the organizational processes may have to be rehearsed at one point or another, yesterday after a long break from gastronomy we had a special evening at the Gimken restaurant. Thanks to the excellent team and of course to the chef in the background, who during our stay, in addition to his culinary delights, stood out especially for his warmth and therefore did a great job. Beautiful. Very attentive staff, very tasty and original dishes and excellent drinks. And for the first time in nine months, an almost normal restaurant visit.

The stay was very pleasant. I had a great meal at the restaurant. After a good night's sleep, a hearty breakfast awaited me. Completely satisfied, I was able to go home with my dog and hereby give a clear and positive recommendation.

Very comfortable new hotel in the area but very little effort has been made to make it easily accessible on foot. This is very much a ‘car required’ area, which is more the fault of the area than the hotel. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced compared to alternatives locally.

We stayed at the hotel for a night. The hotel was really good with 24/24 service. The room is cosy and clean. We are happy with the price (62€/night) and the cappuccino for 3,5€. However, the room is not really soundproof.

The room was nice, the service at the restaurant outstanding. So pitty, they place someone like Julia at the reception. Impolite and rude... for me a reason to go to an another hotel next time.

This is a great Hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in and around Essen for work and finally have found a hotel that ticks all my boxes. Good room, good staff, good breakfast, good parking and most of all comfortable bed and pillows plus a proper size study table to work on. No need to search for new hotel, this will be my preferred hotel from now on.

Spend a night here with my wife and 3 daughters.. was perfect we had a double room (with a door in between) for a more than fair price. Service was great, friendly staff, Nice bathroom with an excellent showerhead. Good beds, and loads of choise at breakfast. Would defenitly reccomend

Very good price if compared to quality level. It has a good restaurant and areas to chill out (indoor and outdoor). There is a pub just aside.

OK hotel with acceptable amenities. Only downside is that there is no restaurant for any dining other than a simple continental breakfast. You can't even use the coffee machines out of breakfast hours. However, being within 150m of 'CentrO', Germany's largest shopping mall, there's a host of options available outside of the hotel. The options available at breakfast is not very impressive. In fact, It's just basic - nothing fascinating. However, the staff are super nice and helpful - everyone also spoke English. Parking is available too. Besides its proximity to the Centro, there's not much to do around the hotel.

A modern and comfortable hotel. I was impressed by the cleanliness that I found excellent. I had chosen it for a business trip for the number of good services that there are in the surroundings. Unfortunately, due to the Covid, it was not possible to fully enjoy it. But the hotel is recommended and I will be back.

Great hotel, newly refurbished, very clean but what stood up was the night shift person Steven Denkowitz who went way out of his way to accommodate me and my family with 2 young children when we checked in at night. His customer service level was phenomenal and he was extremely kind and caring. He made our day. Thank you Steven. You are a real asset to this hotel.

This hotel is cozy and nice. Kind of noisy due to the trafic and the train station which is situated behind of the hotel. The Wi-Fi connection is pretty low. You better have shampoo and shower gel because what they offer is not enough and it's low quality. The breakfast it's diversified and they offer tasty food. Friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing shower and good breakfast. They have a huge parkinglot, which you do have to pay for. The hotel is located right next to the mall. Only thing i personally disliked was the bed, it was a little too hard for my liking.

For the price, it was excellent. Very clean room, easy check-in, tasty breakfast. Just needed more towels 😬 They had everything I need for it to be an amazing breakfast... eggs, bacon, and coffee 😋 The hallway smelled like food though and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

Love this hotel. Good room and very nice bathroom (easy walk in shower) and big breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff. Easy parking. All rooms have a/c since recent renovations . Stayed again last week. Got a free upgrade to a comfort room. Very nice! Definitely coming back. Oh and less then 5 min walk from the mall.

I rarely give a 5 stars, but in this hotel I was feeling well. The staff were really kind and the breakfast was ok. The price was also good compared to the two connected rooms which I liked a lot. The beds were good and the room was very clean.

Aparts in Oberhausen is a very tidy, comfy place. We stayed for just one night however I can tell that beds are large and comfy, very well equipped kitchen and overall - great value for money. Friendly staff and good localisation - I can recommend it!

A cheap but nice hotel had a good time the breakfast was only 5 euro. It was a bit busy during the festival I went to but the did their best to help me.

Just OK for one night. Cleaning was OK. Location is a bit far from center, but on walking distance. I was going to a concert and it was closer to the venue's location. It is a bit old hotel, but quite nice. There was no shampoo but luckily I always bring mine. There was nobody at the reception most of the time. Anyway it didn't bother me for a one night.

Nice place to stay for couple of days. I was sort of missing shampoo in the room and tea was only available some days during breakfast. That's the lost star.

the food is good with many verities, the rooms are very basic but pretty wide and clean. better than some 4star hotels we've been to. fair prices and friendly staff too they added a baby cot with colored sheets, pillow and cover which I thought was cute and cozy

The hotel is old but the rooms are pretty good, they include the breakfast that is very tasty and the people in there is very kind, only that not all the personal speaks English. I had a great time in there. The main saloon is quite good for events like weddings.

Great place to stay in Bottrop, just not very central. The room was minimalist yet cozy, breakfast was diverse and very tasty, and they also had a great looking restaurant, but I didn't have the chance to taste their food. Finally the hood around the hotel was very picturesque. All in all, even if you don't travel with a car, with a bus you'll only need some 20 minutes to be there.

Small hotel situated next to one of the main roads of the town. Clean and spacious rooms with a comfortable bed and free WiFi. Due to a steep staircase not suited for disabled people. The Chill10 hotel is a lovely hotel. The rooms are very decent. But what really makes this place special is the lovely staff and the amazing atmosphere. Also, the restaurant is a great place to be with a nice selection of (vegan) options. The location is not particularly special, but it is very practical.

The concept of this hotel is pretty simple, and it's perfect for some holidays, when you are not looking for high quality service. It's standard rooms, for 5 people for what we got, and you can find the minimum requirement inside rooms. The prices are so pretty good, and help to travel in this area, without spending a big amount inside hosting for sure.

We stayed for one night passing through. The building is rather unique and nice to look at. Many rooms on 3 floors and not too expensive. Rooms were ok and clean. The room has a big window to the corridor which is fine for light but every passing person can see in which was not comfortable but thats why they invented curtains.

Feeling like being at home. This hostel is just great. we were here to celebrate the 3rd birthday of our daughter. Accidently we forget the wrapping paper but the reception manged to get some for us. This is great service and need to be mentioned. The rooms are clean and the bed are good, and all for a very fair price. We will come back and you should really try this hostel.

Next time when we visite schalke 04, we will come back to this place

Not that bad, but not that great. Room was clean but quite old. Bed too soft and had a "plastic" feel. Breakfast was OK but sortiment was limited. Conclusion, not worth the money.

The Hotel in itself is fine, staff Nice. The floor in the hallway makes a noise when you go over it. Toilets could be cleaner. All in all, ok.

During my stay of several days, before 5 years there, I was with the room, Service and the very good Restaurant very satisfied. Friendly staff, cleanliness and the good price - performance ratio in a very quiet location are very good. The good accessibility and connectivity of the transportation system are worth noting...

Nice and simple B&B. All the furniture is from the IKEA with some wear and tear. But all okay. The bathroom is fine enough but the details should monitored (Black silicone round the shower). Breakfast is simple and delicious, but lacks some fine tuning and a little bit more extras like yoghurt.
