A lovely little hotel in the Glottertal wine valley. The staff is nice, very service-minded and friendly. We got a great big room with jacuzzi, great privacy and lovely view to the valley and the mountains. The restaurant was also lovely with greatly made local food and breakfast was excellent 😊

Stopover on our drive to Interlaken and just off the motorway. Nice typical German hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and very reasonable. Only downside was lack of convenience store nearby.

A final farewell and thank you arrived in the post today from Glottertal! We had a very nice stay there in the guest room that is located over the kitchen! Modern updated in room in a really lovely historic location. Walking down the back stairs to dinner every night was just a little extra detail that made us feel welcome and invited. Always a very friendly welcome. Excellent food at the restaurant. If you are looking for "gastronomic quality food" you will find the right place. Prices correct, including alcool. I already came 4 times, even with children, that's fine. Great new sauna. Swimming pool with nice 29° water; many thanks !

We really liked this hotel. The room was very nice. Very good bed. A lot of nice touches. We loved the river next to the restaurant. We loved the view from the room. And the pool and sauna area was great. Only minus: The gym could use some weights. We would come back!

Three night stay in the Black Forest. Well placed hotel, with good road and public transport connections. Most of the Black Forest is within an hours drive. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast served till 10am. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, set menu available. Quality of food very good and well presented. Staff very friendly and entertaining.

I was there for a long time (few months) in a single room apartment then in the inn room. It is a family owned business and a friendly environment. The staff are friendly . The nature area around the Inn is beautiful and nice if you like walking or biking. The place is easily connected by train to waldkirch (4 minutes) and Freiburg (15 minutes).

Our stay at the Hirschenstube Gästehaus Gehri was excellent. The room was very comfortable, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was also really delicious (something to look forward to each morning). The location proved to be great with fun outings and good food spots in the local surroundings. Our thanks and we'll be back soon!

Lovely old school place with warm and welcoming service and a selection of local specialties. My favorites are the 'Rahmschnitzel' (schnitzel in a creamy sauce) and from my most recent visit the beautifully tender ox tongue with madeira sauce. So good.

The rooms are modern, very clean and have everything one needs. There was a desk with two chairs, a closet and even a small balcony. The staff was extremely friendly and we were able to work in the newly created open work space. Breakfast is decent, not huge but nice options and everything was tasty.

Rooms are OK but the one I had was not as big, the bed was broken and make noise. Breakfast was very good. The bathroom was very spacious, I like the hotel and I hope I will be able to go to the renovated rooms next time. Good food and nice room. The owner was not very friendly at the beginning, but this changed completely after a few hours. There's free Wifi.

Hygene could be better. It was not so clean in the room. We had a dirty toiletpaper for example. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean and had plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean but tiny. Great to stop at while visiting Freiburg. The only problem we had was its accessibility. I stay about 5 nights in this hotel per year for some 4 years now. The hotel used to be very nice but as it is very often at full capacity, it is losing its niceness. This is a very simple room in a sport centre /complex . The room was comfortable but simple, breakfast was very simple but more than adequate. This is a very interesting hotel because it is in sport facilities such as tennis courts, swimming pool, gym etc. Staff are friendly and welcomed well, telling me how to get and sightseeing spots of Freiburg. In bathroom, Shower and basin are inside, only toilet is shared. So, it was not a problem.

Went there last year, had a room with a king sized bed, the room had a shower but the bathroom was shared with the other rooms on the same floor. The food was awesome and reasonably priced. As a mid priced hotel I can only recommend it. Friendly staff as well.

Lovely hotel, we arrived on opening night, it felt like they were already very accustomed to receiving guests. Very family friendly: staff immediately rushed a chair for our one year old, they put a very good baby bed with cute covers in the room and the staff is super friendly. Loved the shower too.
