Let’s just start out with: If you want to stay in Goslar you will not be disappoint if you stay in Akzent Hotel Villa Saxer. Right from the very first contact, you will find that they’re so extremely nice. We were blown away. Smiles, laughter, interest. The room was big and had a very cozy vibe to it. You really wanted to stay in there just because it was so nice. Breakfast was splendid, and we enjoyed a lot of good options. Oh, and charging you EV is no problem at all. Dedicated chargers at the parking lot. All in all the staff and comfortable hotel made our trip excellent. Thanks!

🌟 Hotel Villa Saxer totally blew us away! Super fresh, spotlessly clean, and modern with a pleasant scent in every corner (yes, we noticed—and appreciated it!). It’s the kind of place where you feel relaxed the moment you step through the door. Practical bonus: They’ve got a ChargePoint EV charging station, which was a lifesaver for our hybrid. Just don’t forget to bring your own charging cable – unlike hotel slippers, they don’t hand these out! The staff? Absolutely outstanding – every single person we met was genuinely friendly, helpful, and warm. Honestly, we’ve never experienced service this consistently good anywhere else. Hats off! Now for the highlight: breakfast. Let me just say—wow. One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. We’re talking: • Caprese salad • Aubergine with feta and pesto • Proper cooked salmon (not just smoked!) • Sparkling prosecco (yes, at breakfast – we love you, Saxer!) • Fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, a variety of jams, and a great selection of breads If you’re lactose intolerant, one tiny minus: no lactose-free yogurt. But with everything else on offer, we didn’t even miss it that much. Rooms are comfy with excellent air conditioning (a rare gem in Europe). The beds are cozy, and we slept like royalty. We did miss having a minibar in the room, but we requested a kettle, and it was brought to us in no time. No gym, which might bother some, but hey—there’s a sauna you can rent, and that felt pretty luxurious. To be fair, gyms in hotels don’t seem super common in Germany anyway. While the hotel doesn’t serve lunch or dinner, we didn’t mind—one of Goslar’s best restaurants, Schwarzes Schaf, is just around the corner. In the evening, the hotel bar serves drinks with a solid selection, so you’re still covered for a nightcap. Breakfast staff were especially delightful—cheerful, attentive, and always ready with a smile. All in all, Hotel Villa Saxer is perfect whether you’re just passing through or planning to explore Goslar. We’d absolutely stay here again—and recommend it to anyone who appreciates a hotel that truly gets the details right.

Perfect location, right in the middle of town by all the restaurants. Room was big, private bathroom was bigger. Excellent breakfast! Made special accommodations for us when we arrived very late.

Nice very clean hotel. Well organized with parking at extra cost. Good room and bathroom. Strange was that the airco indicated to be serviceable, but only sent more warm air into the room. The only way to cool was to open the door to the terrace. Which let in the outside noise. Breakfast was excellent. The old city center was just a few minutes walk, so location was good.

Amazing hotel, very comfortable beds, very friendly staff. One of the best breakfast buffets I’ve experienced. Breakfast might be the main reason why we have returned and will return again. Parking is available with EV charging facilities. Location is great, just a short walk away from old town.

I chose this hotel based on good reviews. If you want to spend a holiday in Goslar, this is the right place. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is plentiful and the cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired. I would happily come again.

The hotel is stylish and modern. The staff is very friendly and polite and special requests are met with great attention. The very attentive staff offers a very attractive breakfast every day. In addition, the hotel has a very good central location for exploring the Harz Mountains. We will be happy to return.

Lovely little hotel in beautiful Goslar. Tasty rooms, great breakfast buffet and very friendly and smiling staff. A small minus - the balcony - could be a bit more beautiful here. The hotel is located in the city center, a few minutes walk from the city attractions. Good parking spaces are adjacent to the hotel (private space). Overall a very good experience - we had 3 nights!

A getaway weekend in Goslar´s Old Town for 2 in a wonderful hotel with great service and a fantastic breakfast! Large clean rooms and bathroom, and very comfortable beds. Can highly recommend this hotel for both shorter and longer stays.
