I recently stayed at Hotel Brack in Munich for three nights from 2nd to 5th August. There were several aspects of the hotel that I liked. The location is very convenient, being close to the underground and just three stops away from the city centre on the metro, with a mini market nearby. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly, providing excellent service and assistance throughout my stay. The breakfast, served until 12 pm, was decent with a variety of plated options, including eggs cooked in different styles such as boiled, scrambled, or fried. The desk in the room was good for working, and the shower was excellent, with high-quality shower gel provided. The room was cleaned daily, and towels were changed daily as well. I also appreciated the late breakfast hours and the check-out time of 12 pm.
However, there were a few aspects that I did not like. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff were rather arrogant, and there was no service with a smile, which detracted from the overall experience. The pillows in the room were uncomfortable, affecting my sleep quality, and the room fridge did not cool as much as expected, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the bathroom had an occasional unpleasant smell. While the breakfast was good, the options were somewhat limited. Another issue was that the room only had a fan and no air conditioning, which could be problematic during hot weather.

Staff were fantastic. Old hotel that was okay. No air con but provided with a fan. Did the job.

The location of the hotel is great, central, and directly at the underground. Also the staff is friendly. The choice at breakfast is small but I liked to be served at the table. Everything was clean.
What I did not like:
This was the smallest hotel room I have ever been in. The beds are far too small, and mattresses are not good. My back was aching after the second night. To get fresh air during night you need to open the window where light and the noisy street prevents you from sleeping. The whole hotel and furniture seems a bit too old.

The rooms are outdated by clean. The service is good and the location is perfect, very close to Theresienwiese and about 2km from the city centre.

I booked a room for two nights on the Booking website and the following day the Hotel reached out to me saying they mistakenly listed the room at the wrong price and that they were forced to cancel my reservation. To avoid that I would have to pay a HUGE difference (the cost was 400% higer!). The right thing to do would have been to admit this was their mistake and to host me in their hotel anyway, I would agreed to pay a small difference . Instead they insisted so much so that they forced me to cancel my reservation. Now basically I have to find another hotel and I'm the one who pays for their mistake. Not a trustworthy or honest hotel in my opinion.

A decent hotel not far from the main station (1,8km). You can walk the distance, takes about 20 minutes. Everything is ok, staff is very friendly, beds are good, pillows are ok. Night is tranquil. The rooms could get an update, but they are ok. Shower and wifi are on the medium side, but also ok. Liked it!

The hotel is nice, it's a very old building and you should know it in advance. There is no A/C in all rooms and it can be very hot during summer. You get a breakfast and free parking if there is free space (which was during my 3 night stay).
The Breakfast is nice and the service is also good and friendly.
When I received my double room I realized that it's very hot and asked to get a room with A/C. Fortunately there was a single room available with A/C. The single room (with A/C) is also cheaper in booking so I didn't need to pay more. I didn't cared about the refund for the price difference. The receptionist also told me the the new room is cheaper.
BUT on check-out the manager told me that I have to pay 20 Euro more for each night since I got an A/C. Then She said that 10 Euro per night is sufficient. I showed her that the single room is cheaper in all booking websites and there is no reason for me to pay more for the stay. She didn't believe me that the price is lower for the single room and then she said that it was a double room which it clearly wasn't. It had a single bed.
Finally the manager agreed to let me go without additional charge which I would have not pay anyway.
It was a bad ending for a good trip to Munich.

It is beautiful ❤️ hotel and the location is brilliant and the people who work there was very kindness 😀 but i hope to do air conditioning because it was hot weather in munich in sometimes finally if i come back to Munich i will book in brack hotel
