Where to stay in Homburg

Beautiful newer hotel and spa at a peaceful location. Seren surroundings at a small lake having a nearby great beer garden and alp style hut restaurant. Food was good service friendly. The hotel is new and has great views. Unfortunatly we couldn't use the spa and swimming pool but if it is anything like the rest it must be great too.

Very nice hotel with natural materials. Another positive aspect is the really friendly staff. Due to a traffic jam we didn't make it to dinner in time - but we didn't have to go to bed hungry. The stay at PETERS Jägersburg was excellent in every way. Delicious food, very nice staff, great wellness area, clean and modern rooms and the location on the lake was just great! I would definitely like to come back!

The hotel was lovely and walking distance to everything we planned on doing. The breakfast was outstanding and even had crispy bacon, not normal in most European hotels - it’s usually undercooked and floppy. Very nice and cozy place in the forest that is ideal for a family lunch. The dining room is spacious and the staff is quite kids friendly. The food is always very good and the prices are very fair. When the weather is good the kids can play in the garden where they have some toys etc.

We have stayed at this hotel for the 2 time after 3 years. It is very nicely decorated, very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Therefore, we felt very comfortable with our second visit and would come back again and again.

This hotel is located right next to the station, which is convenient. The hotel and rooms are of an acceptable standard, but nothing impressive. The mattresses were too soft, possibly worn out. The free Wi-Fi requires a login that you have to get from the front desk. They give you a printed out receipt valid for 9-12 hours. It works fine but it's a hassle requesting one login for each device you have...

The restaurant had the best ham eggs benedict I've ever had. The coffee was nice and strong, the jams, butter, and margarine were amazing and the croissants were perfectly fluffy and flaky. The service was excellent. Would recommend, will come again.

Stayed here for one night. Very nice hotel, right next to the Rosengarten. Very nice breakfast. About 10 minute walk into town. Not very good on a Saturday, as most shops close about 14.00pm.

I stayed here once in 2011 and again in 2024. It's a great little hotel. Comfortable rooms, very kind staff, and a delicious breakfast. It's also in a very nice, central location.

It would be well worth driving out of your way to eat at the Hotel restaurant, the DeHam. In the 14 days we spent in Germany and France, it was by far the best meal. In my over 40 years as a professional traveler, the dinner was a rival to any in the world. The hotel room was spacious, quiet, and accommodating. Put this family operated hotel on your bucket list.

Very friendly and very clean. For the price, no complaints. Small issue that my room was a bit cold when I arrived and I couldn't get the radiator to work, but this resolved itself.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My first room, #105 was small, with a window to the street. When the bathroom ventilation didn't work, I asked for assistance. I was given another room, #101, with a bathroom window and twice as much space, facing the back courtyard, a drive through area. Good WLAN. People smoked below my window and there was considerable traffic in the courtyard at certain times...

We stayed in this hotel for 2nights and they give us a a big room with living room in the second floor no.11.Big bathroom with shower, everthing looks new and very tidy as well. Love it. But we ddnt sleep good at all coz of the bell from the church every 15 mins or 30mins it will sound. The noise from the passing cars on the road begins at 5am in the morning. Luckily we stayed only for 2nights otherwise...

A calm and pleasant stay, beautifully decorated and romantic. Extremely warm and friendly staff. Special extra care for the little ones and they make the experience very private. Highly recommend the restaurant too, healthy and tasty at the same time. Vegetarian options could be increased.

The furniture in the room looks quite old, but the bathroom was way better. Very cozy hotel with a small lovely restaurant. Freindly staff with a central location and fair prices. I diffently recommend it if you are in the area of Blieskastel!

This is a very decent hotel, considering the price! I paid 49 euros per night. This is a really good deal! Most other hotels in the area are either closed or very expensive. The owners are very nice people, and super helpful. You can get help in French, Italian, Russian, English, and German, of course. If you don't like noise, ask for a room that faces the forest. Great location and friendly staff. Also food and drinks are nice IF the kitchen and its personnel is not understaffed. Unfortunately that was the case in marriage season when the kloster had a lot of guest. You would expect better for the high upper range prices you pay here.

We visited the Gebauer guesthouse over the weekend. Our apartment was very spacious and everything was very well maintained and very clean. We were greeted directly by the very courteous hosts. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning. All in all very recommendable, we would love to come back! 👍🏻

Mini cash bar in room. Nicely set out coffee and tea area in common area. A nice stroll around town will lead you to some nice bakeries and eateries. Very quite and a soft bed. The shower is a space age super machine that is touch controlled. We checked in at noon with no proble. Very close to Zweibrucken and the giant outlet center.

The location was just what I needed as a stopover from Switzerland, before driving through France to return to the UK via Eurotunnel (following the quarantine restrictions imposed this last weekend). There is easy access to the A6 road. There is cheap local fuel and food shops in the town too. Free hotel parking outside my room, and at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, meant my bikes were safe locked...

Most important things first...everything clean at a fair price. Hotel owner very nice. Breakfast buffet with everything you need. The only thing that I find a pity is these pre-baked rolls that are so modern everywhere. But also because breakfast was great for 7 euros. Other hotels also take 10 to 12 with pre-baked rolls. We will use this hotel again when we work nearby.

Stylish hotel in a quiet location directly on the golf course. Service and food were very good.

A really nice hideaway in a quiet and very green area of the Saarland. The rooms are space, the wellness and spa area is new, clean and invites to relax and the different golf courses can be reached in less than a minute. MTB courses and walking tracks are nearby. Ordered lunch to go for our anniversary - even boxed up, the presentation was lovely! And the flavor - oh my - so delicious! As one who can’t eat gluten, what a delight to find a restaurant with a dedicated GF restaurant and to enjoy CROQUETTES, which I haven’t been able to eat for the past two years. And that CHEESECAKE - just wow! Whatever you’re doing in that kitchen, keep it up!
