Hallo,
1. Very attractive prices.
2. Convenient location. We had our bikes with us, so for exploring the city and surroundings, the location a few km from the city centre was perfectly fine.
3. Room was rather clean, the bathroom had still some hairs sticking around (mirror, shower), no big problem though.
4. Breakfast was great for 10 EUR: large variety in foods (rolls, granola, corn flakes, müsli, fruits, cold & warm drinks)
5. Very friendly personnel
6. Halls could be a bit cleaner.
7. The biggest issue we had was that, although the hostel prescribes silence between 10pm and 6am, we had a guest in our dorm coming in at 11:45pm, switching on the light while we were asleep and thus waking us up. He left after a few minutes and came back at 1am again switching on the light and arranging his bed for like 10 minutes. I find this absolutely not done. I don't mind sleeping in a dorm with several people but not when there is light and noise in the middle of the night. The fact that this person had to make up his bed means that he only came in last minute. The hostel staff should have put him in an empty room or dorm, or should not have have accepted him, knowing he would disturb other guests in the middle of the night.

The rooms were not clean at all. The closet was not in the best shape, the sinks were not cleaned properly and on top of the closet were old sweets that were left behind by previous guests. The blanket had period blood over it, which is unacceptable and disgusting (coming from a woman). The glass cups had bite marks all over them and in general dirty. The staff is mostly unprofessional as well as rude. They were not able to do their assigned tasks. One male staff member had to run the whole reception while two other staff members didn’t or couldn’t take care about anything. Me and a group of different teenagers were in the lobby playing a game where it got a bit heated, at around 11p. Instead a reminder in a quiet or professional tone to remind us, she screamed at us, in a rude and disrespectful manner.
The WiFi did not work properly.
Overall with the dirtiness of the rooms, unprofessionalism and rudeness of the staff members, this hostel is not worth the stay. There are many better options when it comes to a stay in Weimar.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, exactly what we needed during our stay.The staff was extremely helpful, always kind, and truly friendly. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of, and we were really happy with the service they provided. Overall, a great experience.

people smoking everywhere, I was 20 minutes at the reception waiting for someone to come. noisy at night. I update the service rating because the guy that was at the reception when we did the check out was very nice. Beware that there is no free parking, there is a paid parking.

The hygiene standards of your cleaning personnel is not adequate. I saw a room cleaning person picking up dirty garbage from the garbage can without gloves. I saw cleaning person not wash their hands after using the bathroom. Both cases were coincidental.
You should have more than 1 person at the reception. On several occasions, I had to wait for 20 minutes for a receptionist. You should at least have a ringing bell on the reception counter to let the personnel know guests are waiting for them.

I recommend this place. It is clean and always a good vibe. We often stay there and we are just super happy with the location, service and rooms. Only one remark: I would love the fitted sheets to be placed for the kid's beds.

This hostel is a fantastic place to stay! The location is excellent, well connected to many cities, and Weimar itself is a beautiful and historic town with plenty to explore. The hostel is clean, well-maintained, and everything works perfectly. The accommodation is comfortable, and the meals are great. It has all the amenities a traveler could need, making the stay very convenient. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it easy to feel at home. A great choice for anyone visiting Weimar!
