A verynice 3 Star hotel, should really have 4 Stars, everything is very clean, as far as i could see is that the rooms all New and and very clean, the staff were very friendly and the Restaurant did a very good job, also respect to the cleaning firm, they do a very good job. The town Karlsruhe is in a 30 minute walking distance or a 10 minute drive with a Tram. I was there in 06.24 on a Seminar.

I spent a week here on business. The room was great for a business trip, the staff super friendly and helpful. Public transport downtown is good to grab something to eat.. I enjoyed it. And the seminar room well equipped and luckily had a fully functional AC.

Quiet location near the forest, yet accessible with public punching means of transport. Decent food, good conference hotel with a limited but perfectly adequate Sport- & Wellness area.

I think it is important to remember what you are buying here. It is listed as a 2 star hotel. - The ac mostly worked on the first floor, though it was not too hot - the shower had warm water - this is really really close to the tracks, and those on the first floor can not safely open their windows as there is a concrete walkway outside the rooms - the beds were not that comfortable, but not horrible...

Centrally located hotel, 2 minutes from main station, close to food outlets and all the trams, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and functional, what more do you want ? 😄

We were assigned a room with a broken air conditioning system, and after a sunny day the temperature on the top floor was well over 30° when we arrived. When we pointed this out, they just said that no other rooms were available because they were fully booked - but at that time three room categories including ours were still being sold online. Instead, we were offered a soft drink as compensation....

Ideally located, public transport (buses and trams) were literally 2mins walk from the hotel. A lot of good restaurants nearby as well. Berliner Hof was, of course, a must-see for me as a Berliner. But everything was really great. I particularly like the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at reception and at breakfast. It's really cool to experience such good service. Otherwise, everything was just fine. Oh yes, good coffee and a really delicious croissant.

The hotel is overall good for the price, even if furniture and the bathroom are "a little bit" aged. It's also quite close to the center, so if you need a place to stay in Karlsruhe for one night, without reserving long in advance, this might be where to go. It's a little far from the station. There was a table next to the bed so it was easy to put your luggage. I didn't use it, but there was a clothes warmer. The floor was wobbly and dented, so I'm worried about safety in the future.

Stairs squeak. At night I couldn't move quietly in bed because the bed squeak was so terrible and unbearably loud. Speaking of the bed; I had paid extra for a big bed and I got a small bed. Not the toilet was pleasant, because who wants to see the previous person's urine in the toilet??????? Hands off, hands off, hands off.

One night in this hotel, 3 of us and we got a family room that was actually 2 bedrooms. Very nice layout, clean and friendly welcome. Would stay again!

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the price-performance ratio was very good! The bathroom was very large and had a window to the inner courtyard. I would book it again!

Really cozy and a nice place. Being new to Germany cuisine , I enjoyed every bit of it . My colleagues assured me the recipes are very authentic and prepared with care. I was genuinely impressed with the service and the food. Bathrooms are clean and so is the overall place. Vegetarian options are also included.

We had a fantastic stay at B5, the accommodation is brand new and very comfortably furnished. It felt like renting an apartment inside a hotel, similar to American condos and their community area. On top of that the staff was amazing, very helpful and attentive. Do highly recommend B5, also for its closeness to the zoo and playgrounds for families.

It is perfect location for city break. Room is rather small and there was a small in the bathroom. Automatic checking went very easy. Breakfast has a good choice. Good value for money

The service is just great! A room was made available to us already in the morning without needing to ask. Breakfast isn't the most lavish ever, but there's an excellent tea selection, my husband liked the coffee too, and fresh baked goods, hot sausages, eggs and bacon. Vegetarians will find lots to eat, vegans not so much, but I'm sure the staff would accommodate special requests if made in advance...

The town itself is the least remarkable place you will probably visit in your life. However, we were there for a wedding and looked for a clean, affordable and central place to stay, and this hotel was it. They were easy going on the early check in time, the reception lady was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely people!

Lovely people, very decent, rooms were slightly warm in summer but I guess that is because of the insolation: so good!

I had a real great time at this hotel, it was "simple", but the quality of the services were great. People working there are very welcoming and rooms are super clean and well designed :) Price was really worth it, some say the rooms are a bit small, but space wasn't something I need, as I visited the city. This is a nice decent hotel in Karlsruhe. Rooms are normal and clean. You have a nice view on the industrial harbour from the rooms. There is also a restaurant in the hotel which supposedly serves excellent fish dishes. I have not tried it yet though.

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting my local office which was a 10 minute walk , On arrival to my room my first impression was this is very small but as I am from US and use to big hotel rooms I just put it down to the European standard especially in smaller hotels . That Said it was clean and shower was very nice , I had a room away from the road so didn’t hear traffic or trains ,I would ask...

I saved this hotel for a next visit. Freshly renovated room with a big, firm bed, clean bathroom. And good breakfast; fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread rolls,... nicely decorated breakfast room. Large parking. Good with Corona rules as well.

This may sound like damning faint praise because the Avisa is a pretty small hotel with small (kleine) guest rooms on a nondescript street. But, that said, it’s a fantastic hotel. There are four floors of about 7 rooms per floor. The guest elevator is small but robust, and there is a wide set of carpeted stairs from bottom to top. The street-facing rooms look onto the Karlsruhe zoo, and African antelopes...

This is a wonderful small hotel close to the train station but calm and in quite street with lots of rooms giving view into a backyard. The receptionist and kitchen staff are exceptionay friendly and the breakfast buffet is for the size of the hotel also extraordinary. Very nice hotel, across the zoo which means much green & leaves, and yet this is the centre of town. We had a spaceous room, could hardly believe it for this price. Lovely staff, great breakfast (with a view of deers, in the zoo), Free parking.

The service here is just great! Delicious breakfast buffet on the ground floor makes for a great opportunity to observe the red pandas in the zoo across the street. Direct proximity of the Karlsruhe train station.

Very nice place. Beautiful rooms with air conditioning. The service is great, we had to spontaneously cancel our original hotel which turned out to be a stroke of luck. We received a very warm welcome at the hotel and were completely satisfied. If we are in Karlsruhe again we will stay there. As the hotel is very central, most of the city can be reached on foot.

Nicely decorated place and really nice reception service. My room was even ready earlier than check in. Having to carry my food from the restaurant to my room was a bit annoying but the food was good so I didn't mind so much.

Good location. Nearby the main trainstation and not far from historical center. Be aware of wild animals sounds from the zoo, if you like to sleep with open windows.

Nice place to stay exactly opposite the railway station. Top floor apartments recommended which are two-storey attic style rooms and enough space to sleep 4 to 6 people. Great for family stay.

This is one of the nice and economic stay in Karlsruhe, good part is it is very near to the Hauptbanhof and have bar inside. It also has a play area for kids and a snooker table to enjoy.. Store or luggage room is also available..
