Had a very pleasant stay. The room was big and clean. The only downside is that there is no desk in the room, it should be noted in case you plan to get some work done.
I liked this hotel a lot. Because I could use the gym 24 hours a day 😉 But on a serious note, the positive things: - the location is good, just roundabout a 10 min walk to be in the city - gym, a lot of cardio so they could expand more on weights. But it was open at any time, got a disinfectant, towls, and water fountain. Top top top - the breakfast was amazing, the variety of the fresh cooked things...
Hotel is clean, free minibar with water, coca, juice and snacks. Breakfast is nice! Staff is friendly! Good hotel to stay with!
Very good overnight hotel of the very beautiful city of Karlsruhe. The rooms are a bit dirty and it isn’t that big. But they do have a nice bed. Service is good. I suggest staying here on your vacation to drive further the next day.
Hotel is very convenient for downtown and well connected by trams. Rooms are very well designed and clean. Staff are friendly.
The room was Very smart clean and modern and definitely Very Comfortable. Great central location. Is value for money and simply great place to stay.

A good modern hotel in the middle of Karlsruhe. Bicyclists are able to lock their bikes in the underground parking lot. Mini bar/fridge in the room. The staff gave some recommendations for good nearby restaurants where to eat dinner.
We arrived quite late, but the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and fast, and he even offered to store my bike in a locked room—kudos to him! We stayed only one night. The room was basic but clean and spacious enough for three of us and a dog. Breakfast could be more diverse; it was very basic. The hotel’s location is good with plenty of street parking nearby...
Hotel was nice and clean, but older. Location is good if you want to be close to city center. Extra 19 Euro for parking per night so be sure to add that to the room cost. I stayed 2 nights, but my room was nit cleaned. The price for the value is okay. I would stay here again.
The rooms are fine and clean, but appear a bit outdated. Breakfast is good, but not spectacular. The trams passing by the building cause vibrations you can feel inside your room and bed.
Friendly staff. Room was tidy and clean. The interior is stuck somewhere in the 80s. The bed was very soft. The bathroom in general is out of shape. The shower couldn’t keep temperature. If you are having a room towards the main street, the city train will rattle you to sleep. Considering the price per night I would have expected more.
Staff is kind and diligent, the room has seen better times, however everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately my room window was facing the street side, so in the very early morning the heavy trams start passing by disturbing your sleeping

Classic little hotel that takes itself pretty seriously despite being a little older. Great spot right across from the train station with shopping and restaurants all withing a couple blocks. (Also a nice little walking/biking path through a zoo/park thing that was quite nice.) The breakfast was probably the best part with a nice little spread of options to get you going. The fitness center is an additional...
What a wonderful well appointed hotel. Right next to the train station. The location was wonderful. I have never been in a hotel that has SO MUCH granite! WOW! The breakfast was yummy. Scrambled eggs is always a hit with me. :) And the staff, from the minute I registered to the breakfast staff were all very attentive to my requests.
I gave a 3 star only because of the noise from the tram. It was right under our window 0530 am till after 11 pm. It was close to train station which was handy but if you didn’t rely on trains I would stay closer to the city. The room was lovely and a decent bathroom with bath but the noise would be a deal breaker if we knew. There was no kettle but they did give us hot water when we asked for a cup...
I was traveling alone and appreciated being able to book a single room. The room was very clean and well-appointed and despite the small size it had absolutely everything one could want including a two comfortable chairs for sitting and a desk. The breakfast was excellent, with absolutely every option possible available. Danke
Nice central location with nostalgic elevator- perfect when arriving by train but hotel also hosts private (paid) parking. Unique are the rooms overlooking the Zoo ( also a must see !) You can hear the animals when windows are open :) With all this said, the breakfast was a big miss! Neither quality nor service were up to par. Please improve hospitality of breakfast staff.
Little old. Friendly people's. Just next the station which is very nice when you have to take a early train in the morning.

Leonardo Karlsruhe ist perfectly located in walking distance of the central station. The team is very friendly and helpful, the hotel in excellent condition. I highly recommend it and will come again soon.
The hotel was really nice & clean. Great price! Family friendly. Friendly and thoughtful staff. Opposite the Zoological Gardens. We are definitely going back!!
Good hotel and close to the motorway. Receptionist very kind and gave good advises. Parking facilities at hotel small however parking garage below the hotel available (fee of EUR15)
Great value for money Center of the city, close to main shopping area. Decent terrace for outdoor dining, or drinks. Rooms are good size and clean. Nice views from upper floors. Motivated staff make stay pleasant. Two areas of improvement: 1. Bathrooms, especially showers need renovation. 2. Create more safety by adding one or two lights in the parking area. I made this point before, unfortunately...
Very nice and friendly hotel with a bit of art. It is really offered for people who like home-style hotels. :)
Lived on the 11th floor, a private Elevator on the 10th floor, one flight of stairs on foot. Liked the large clean room, spacious bathroom with bathtub, kettle, tea bags and coffee glasses, one liter bottle of water a day, an armchair and a coffee table, a safety Deposit box. Surprised outdoor air was not hot, we did not include. At the reception the staff in the lobby constantly apples, oranges, water...

Good breakfast, very clean rooms. Hower had trouble finding a parking spot as the hotel parking was full.
Breakfast was amazing! -1 star because they claim to have on site parking, but in reality their parking garage is way too small for the amount of rooms the hotel has. We had to drive around 20 minutes to find on street parking and finally had to park in the city parking garage.
Hotel is nice and so is the breakfast. If you are driving a non-Tesla EV, you will be disappointed by the fact that this hotel only has Tesla chargers.
Great staff, lovely location (for us on route to Zell am See) and nicely presented accommodation. Excellent.
Good hotel, good food, reasonably priced drinks. Reasonably well located. Rooms of good quality and spacious.
Looking quite modern from the outside. The rooms themselves are not really up to date (and given the room price you could expect something more). Good and rich breakfast buffet.

Gluten-free bread options at breakfast, thank you! Comfortable room, kind staff, would definitely stay again.
Highly recommend here. Excellent service to the end of stay and excellent facilities. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel.
The hotel is pretty new (I lived several times on separate building, didn't know anything about main building). The rooms are cosy and you could have a balcony for the fresh air, for my family is it quite crucial to have. The breakfast is really good, even if you come close to the end of it. Only issue is the end time - 9:30 on workdays. It is not too comfortable due to the fact of arriving usually...
Amazing Gabriel is by far the best barman everever he is polite and rwpaly into what He does i felt in very capable hands amazing Cocktails but with service that is Just out of this World thanks for making that evening Special 🥰❤️🥰🎉as a very famous austrian once Said i ll be Back🎉🎉🎉 i even got a bubble with the kryptonite Glas 🥰🤣😜🎉
I stayed here for 5 days. It was really a pleasant stay. They have wide variety of options in buffet breakfast but it's same menu everyday. They could change it on somedays. Rooms were good, they gave complimentary drinks, two alcohol and non alcohol drinks. Restaurant and Bar is available. Very less options for Vegetarian. It's near by to Durlach Train Station and Tram station.
Excellent hotel, walking distance from the Durlach train station. Modern and beautifully decorated rooms, tasty breakfast.

Good breakfast, nice suite. If you use the bubble bath keep in mind that about 30-40mins the thing starts a cleaning procedure or something. It started to make a lot of noise for about 5min.
The friendliest and most helpful staff in all of Karlsruhe. Single/two person rooms are modest size without being cramped. Bathroom and shower are spotless and modern. Bed is comfortable and reasonably sized even for middleweight Americans. Lights and power are activated by inserting your room key in a box by the inside of the door, which is just interesting and different, not a downside. Free breakfast...

Only some issues with the bathroom, mainly the tap was old, and the tiles joints were a bit dirty. But otherwise the rooms in themselves are nice, with a kinda sober and modern decoration. I would probably book it again next time I get in Karlsruhe.
Had a two night stay in room 103. Good value for money and there is in-building secure parking. The receptionists on site were very helpful when my credit card booking initially failed. The hotel is clean and well built. Rooms are good with a decent size bathroom and decent beds, TV and free WiFi. The hotel hallways are all tiled so it can be noisy when people enter their room or speak in the hallways...
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Decent rooms, unfortunately noisy due the tramline in front of the hotel. No air-conditioning in the rooms so temperatures can be uncomfortable. Breakfast was reasonable. Small private parking available for 9 euro/day. Stayed for 3 nights with friends while visiting the Hockenheim F1 grand prix. Approximately a 20min. drive to the circuit.

We had a great stay during times of COVID-19 - the staff is very friendly and responds fast to any open questions or doubts. We used the modern sauna and fitness area for an extra charge (normally it's included but now, they offer it exclusively to you for a certain time span and you are basically alone there and can be in a safe and clean environment). We travelled as family and it was very child...
Great rooms (bed, AC, bathroom), breakfast and service. Unfortunately could hear the construction outside the window easily along with hammering in the rooms but nothing insane.
Free minibar refill, beautiful and spacious rooms, sauna and steam bath. Fine breakfast. Located in City Center next to the Ettlinger Tor Shopping Center.and the Xmas Market! During my stay on going renovation was the only downside
Location location location. Right in centre of town. Polite efficient staff. Older but clean rooms. Family rooms (incl sink, microwave, coffee machine). Fitness room, sauna, comprehensive breakfast with cooked and continental selections. Complimentary mini bar with basic drinks and snacks. Wifi patchy.
What a surprise. This place was fantastic - clean, large rooms (booked the suite, not sure what other rooms were like), service was great, and the price was fantastic. It's not a five-star experience, and it's not supposed to be. I was a little cautious at the lobby but this was a great find. I'll be booking here every time I come through Karlsruhe. Great location, great staff, and comfortable, modern...
Very nice hotel. Enjoyed the little things that make it a four star hotel. Nearby construction (as of Aug 2015) is loud during day but stopped in evening and night.

Booked two rooms. The rooms are pretty good but the AC is a bit too loud. Check-in takes far too long, booked via Booking.com app. The process should be a lot faster than it currently is.
For the price, this was a great stay! Our room was very clean, had a small balcony and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and the staff was friendly. Our dog also really enjoyed the park & zoo right outside the hotel
Close to the main railway station, comfortable bed lacked a fridge. The staff were really very friendly and good at providing information.

I have travelled many countries in the world, like gulf and asian coutries and stayed there in different hotels. But my experience of staying in Hotel Winterrot was unforgettable, very peaceful, specially the warm welcoming at reception as well as all of the staff members whether in reception or at Bar and Restaurent made me really feel so special and respectful. Room was big enough, with very comfortable...
good hotel with excellent and attentive service. but around the hotel there are construction works after which it is noisy and dusty.
You feel at home, just great furnished and something to look at everywhere. Great rooms, great bed and just a great feeling of well-being
Review for the bar area: New Hotel. With a bar, delicious drinks and a small (but fine) menu. Not cheap, but according to the ambience and quality. Very cozy and with an outside area. We liked it very much.
Supposedly a brand new hotel in a convenient spot for transit. Rooms are luxuriously furnished and there is a nice restaurant which serves very tasty cocktails. Fun fact: the bartender invents cocktails himself and is very enthusiastic when his cocktail (Caramel Colada) is well received. The industrial estate has yet to be built up somewhat, so that the immediate surroundings are not attractive, but...
The hotel is very clean and very nicely decorated. In addition, the house is family-run and the kitchen is also highly recommended. The employees are very accommodating, of course friendly and personable. And the boss exudes personality and helpfulness. Gladly again!

The room is very spacious, modern and flawlessly clean. The location is very good: There is a tram stop directly in front of the building (it's called Karlstor/Bundesgerichthof), which is directly connected to the central station (through tram 2 or 3) and other destinations. The city core is just in walking distance. We had a great stay here, even though it was just 1 night.
