The Leonardo Hotel in Karlsruhe offers good value for the price. We were a bit disappointed upon arrival to find that despite booking a double bed, we were given two single beds instead. We were told by staff that a double bed was only a "wish" and not a guarantee. We couldn't easily push the beds together because of the fixed console in the middle. Towards the end of my trip, I left some clothes and shoes here and totally forgot my beloved floral hair tie. So sad! Overall, the hotel was quite good, seemingly a corporate-rate hotel or similar. This was the most affordable night of my trip (I didn't book breakfast; if I had, it would probably be the second most affordable). Everything met my expectations, and the transportation was convenient.

We stayed there for 2 nights with breakfast. The room was big and nice. It’s showing its age a little bit but that’s not a deal breaker. It’s nice that it’s in a walking distance to center. We originally planned to stay here for 10 days and because of family emergencies we've had to extend our stay to 25 days. The staff here have been so helpful, kind, courteous. We love the location. It's been easy for us to use the parking downstairs. The rooms are comfortable. Lots of space downstairs in the cafe or bar to relax.

Getting to the hotel is difficult and the staff had no idea about the public transportation system and we almost missed our train but for convenience to the Caracalla spa it was perfect and you’re able to go directly into the spa and even pay at the hotel.

Best place in Baden The best! I’m a frequent guest at Aqua Aurelia. Probably have stayed there 25 times and it is always consistent and good. Really good. I don’t have staff names correct, but two women and guys are always great - Gi, Kathy, Rene, and guy that works both desk and restaurant, as needed.

The property was beautiful. We stayed in the back building. Unfortunately the heat did not work in one of the rooms we stayed in. The Hotel tried their best to get it working at night and when they couldn’t, they issued us a full refund in the morning. They were very helpful.

As per the concept, the Little Prince is in every room and there are many skylights! If you are a fan of The Little Prince, this is a must-see. However, the building itself is an old European house.

I am absolutely in love with this hotel! The service is superior and the rooms are so comfy, you almost don't want to leave! The little touches left in the room are wonderful BUT the level of service is far and above anything I expected! We had such a great time. The staff was so nice. Landau is a nice walkable town and also a home base to visit Diedershem and Naustadt. Definitely worth the visit for wine tasting and authentic German feel.

Nice old hotel Service and staff were excellent. Old style hotel with no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up some steep stairs. Breakfast was wonderful and the garden was so beautiful. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It feels good and is recommended to stay. You can go with your family in groups. It is more suitable to choose summer and winter vacations for family stay. You need to make an appointment in advance. There are fewer rooms to avoid being out of room.

The hotel is centrally located, quickly in the spa gardens, Thermal bath and mountain railway. Our room was clean, the beds were very good, the bathroom was small. View over Bad Wildbad 👍 Essen and the in-house swimming pool 👍 also with a beautiful view.

Nice place to eat and buy local products

We stayed for an overnight visit en route to Italy. We have stayed several times before. The hotel has an excellent location for motorway access. However, there are major roadworks widening the motorway that has closed the access. This should NOT deter a visit; access is straight forward from the Pforzheim Sud exit with the use of satnav.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was nice overall, though the beds were a bit too firm (we are finding that to be the norm in Europe). Breakfast was good. The hotel was accessible to the local highways, so it was a good overnight stay on the way to southern Germany.

Shabby chic hotel, which kind of fits into the environment. This was the second time we stayed here as it’s a perfect overnight stop for us. Yes it needs updating, bathroom decor late 70s, early 80s but all in all, good value for money. Hotel is in a great location for walking, cycling and hiking.

Nice and clean hotel to stay. Especially breakfast is really good. But there's few spot for fun.

Food was good. Service, however, somewhat overwhelmed. First of all, our question to other chairs with a table (2 chairs, 6-seater table): "looks bad" in the negative. Another service has helped us then and chairs the Hotel provided. Otherwise, still nice, even if not professionally.

My room was super hot! Not as clean as I would have expected. The water pressure in the shower was very low and the shower over bath was not ideal. Incredibly slippery with no grip mat provided.

During the European Championships the price/performance ratio is ok.

Tired and dated Only used this hotel for a stop over so arrived quite late, only used the restaurant for food and no other facilities. Food was better than expected, staff very friendly, hotel is tired and dated, that said it suited our needs

A good choice to break a journey We only stopped long enough to break a long drive. Although we arrived just before 10pm the staff were attentive and helpful, the room was clean and air conditioned. We use this hotel as an overnight stop between Europoort and the Dolomites. All the facilities are excellent. The air conditioning was much appreciated on the return leg of the journey as the outside temperature was 35 degrees. The only problem at present is accessing the hotel from the nearby autobahn because of roadworks. Approaching from the North, our satnav did not recognise that the normal exit...

We were with the family for a wine weekend at Villa Hochdörfer. We have booked the wine experience days. It was an all-round successful stay. After we stood in front of closed doors for about 10 minutes and there was no response to our ringing or call, we finally found Ms. Hochdörffer after a small search. We were with our camper on the parking lot of the winery. Nice parking space right next to the vineyards, with fresh water and electricity directly at the parking space. Despite an event in the evening, a wine tasting with plenty of time, delicious wines and great tips was possible. The music event (Schlager) went on as announced until 10 p.m. We would love to come back anytime!

Womoplatz is ok. Breakfast was very good in a cozy atmosphere.
