Where to stay in Karlsruhe

It was a good stay for one month. The staffs are nice except some staffs, clean hotel, good breakfast, very decent according to the price, have overall construction or upgradation work throughout weeks, a little bit noisy for that. But it was good overall. Btw they will charge you security deposit of 10 euro for fan in summer, and city tax 3.5 euro per night.

The faucet was broken, which was inconvenient, but other than that, I am satisfied with everything. The small kitchen, bathroom, dining table, and desk are all good.

A verynice 3 Star hotel, should really have 4 Stars, everything is very clean, as far as i could see is that the rooms all New and and very clean, the staff were very friendly and the Restaurant did a very good job, also respect to the cleaning firm, they do a very good job. The town Karlsruhe is in a 30 minute walking distance or a 10 minute drive with a Tram. I was there in 06.24 on a Seminar.

I spent a week here on business. The room was great for a business trip, the staff super friendly and helpful. Public transport downtown is good to grab something to eat.. I enjoyed it. And the seminar room well equipped and luckily had a fully functional AC.

Quiet location near the forest, yet accessible with public punching means of transport. Decent food, good conference hotel with a limited but perfectly adequate Sport- & Wellness area.

I think it is important to remember what you are buying here. It is listed as a 2 star hotel. - The ac mostly worked on the first floor, though it was not too hot - the shower had warm water - this is really really close to the tracks, and those on the first floor can not safely open their windows as there is a concrete walkway outside the rooms - the beds were not that comfortable, but not horrible...

Centrally located hotel, 2 minutes from main station, close to food outlets and all the trams, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and functional, what more do you want ? 😄

We were assigned a room with a broken air conditioning system, and after a sunny day the temperature on the top floor was well over 30° when we arrived. When we pointed this out, they just said that no other rooms were available because they were fully booked - but at that time three room categories including ours were still being sold online. Instead, we were offered a soft drink as compensation....

We booked two rooms at B&B Hotels Karlsruhe (145EUR in total), one with a parking space in the underground parking to charge our vehicle (+10EUR for parking). At 69c/kWh, the energy costs were on the high end for a slow AC charger, but this could be expected. However, at 02h30 in the morning, when the car had finished charging, an additional stay-rate kicked in (6c/min). None of these tariffs are clearly...

I use B&B hotel especially because they are generaly very good for wheelchair users. This hotel in Karlsruhe was very good fir me and my needs as a wheelchair user. The room and bathroom are very spacious, with grabrails in bathroom and easy access to toilet with both side. Breakfast was very goid with goid choice of dufferent foods. The staff eas excelent and friendly. Thank you B&B!

Next to the train station. When there's someone working, limited reception times, they're very good. Rooms were not as good as the Munich B&B.

Hotel as expected from B&B. Efficient staff, easy check-in. Clean room. We were travelling in a van which did not fit your underground carpark, but fortunately there was paid parking adjacent to the hotel (15 euros for 24 hours). Convenient for motorway.

It's very close to the train station, only a two- to three-minute walk away. Checking in is quick and easy, using a combination lock instead of a key. The room was clean.

The hotel was fine, the ambience can be better! I was staying there during a hotel renovation I assume! The hotel is very helpful at times of necessities. Had some issues with keycard and electricity which the hotel team helped me with and also during the checkout they considered making a discount as well as I had such experience!

Nicely decorated place and really nice reception service. My room was even ready earlier than check in. Having to carry my food from the restaurant to my room was a bit annoying but the food was good so I didn't mind so much.

Good location. Nearby the main trainstation and not far from historical center. Be aware of wild animals sounds from the zoo, if you like to sleep with open windows.

Nice place to stay exactly opposite the railway station. Top floor apartments recommended which are two-storey attic style rooms and enough space to sleep 4 to 6 people. Great for family stay.

Very good value budget hotel. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. This is a no frills hotel, our view is the hotel is somewhere we sleep so that's all we need . A good bed comfortable room with all the facilities. It's not somewhere to sit around getting fleeced on the price of a glass of coke.

Good and cheap place if you just want a place to sleep. The room we had was a 3-bed room with al the necesarry things like a toilet, sink, and a shower. Small but practical!

It is located in a main street, where a train rail is right in front of the hotel, so it can be a bit noisy during the night. But overall the hotel is good. The small rooms have everything what you need for a quick stop in Karlsruhe. A good price too.

Cleanish and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunetly the furniture and the carpet really old and smelly a bit. Also if you have dust allergie not recommended. Otherwise it's an ok price for the quality.

The hotel is in the middle of Karlsruhe but still offers rimms for a reasonable price. While the rooms are small, they are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also included. The staff is very kind and speaks English.

What a great little campsite! We stayed for just one night on the way back up to Calais and the location was perfect, close to the motorway. Our pitch was great, really big with water and electrics. We had a lovely meal at a little Italian restaurant that was literally 5 minutes walk. The 2 dogs were very welcome and we sat on the balcony with them. Visited in early May. Very quiet and nice campsite, given it’s in a town and near roads/ railways etc. nice helpful staff on reception. Very clean toilet block. 5 mins walk from an Aldi, 10 mins to rail station and town centre. Recommended

I only stayed here for one night and it was fine. Sanitary facilities were clean, although the showers weren't really practical. It was a pretty small cabin, but that's only a temporary situation as the new building for these facilities is being build. The staff was really kind. There is also a nice playground for kids to entertain themselves. There are quite a bit of trees on the campsite, however...

3 star at best. Rooms are really dated. Bed was good, pillows terrible. Staff were friendly, location, right next to train station, so 15/20 mins walk to centre, bur ideal to move on your next leg of a trip. The lift is the best part of the hotel, built1928 - a national treasure, supposedly.

Good location near the station. Loved that our room overlooked the zoo and we could see the animals. Our own animal was well treated, good room, comfy bed, breakfast pretty good and welcoming staff on arrival. Thank you!

Even though the property is a bit older, it is clean, in good shape and very spacious. Reception staff was very kind and supportive.

We payed far over 500 euros, and sadly did not get what you would expect for this price. Our room was outdated and the bathroom had some molt. The walls were not white anymore. The location is great, but it is time for some investment and modernization. We did not understand why the bar/cafe had no personal. The breakfast is absolutely not bad, but even that could have some extra attention.

Extremely convenient location when arriving by train. Very helpful staff. Loved the old world atmosphere and especially the 1914 lift! Room large and spacious. No tea or coffee but we never use those anyway.

It is a newly renovated hotel, modern, stylish and comfortable. We had a room on the third floor facing the quiet back. Distance to the very city is nearly 5 km and there is public transport (bus), nearby (200 m). Booked two rooms. The rooms are pretty good but the AC is a bit too loud. Check-in takes far too long, booked via Booking.com app. The process should be a lot faster than it currently is.

Berliner Hof was, of course, a must-see for me as a Berliner. But everything was really great. I particularly like the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at reception and at breakfast. It's really cool to experience such good service. Otherwise, everything was just fine. Oh yes, good coffee and a really delicious croissant.

This was one of the "clean hand towels" in our room. I used it to dry my hands before I noticed the tape and someone else's hair on it. ?

The hotel is a 14-minute walk from Karlsruhe Station. There was no staff at check-in, so I had a bit of trouble getting my room key. However, the hotel is located in a residential area, so it's quiet, and the breakfast is decent.
