Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Service was very good very nice staff at the front desk. Breakfast is great and the young lady responsible for breakfast is awesome she is very young polite friendly and very professional. Very nice stay

This is just an OK hotel. You’re not happy to stay here, but it serves the purpose. Check in process was just fine, staff is also nice. The issues that I’ve faced: - no complimentary water in the room and no fridge. It’s really not a stretch to buy a small bottle of water for the guest - there are no tissues in the room - the shelves are not really cleaned, mine had a big layer of dust on them - there...

I was truly impressed by the comfort and cleanliness, as well as how quiet the hotel was considering its proximity to the Hauptbahnhof. The staff upholds the quality that's come to be expected as with any other Accor Hotel chain.

Super satisfy! We stayed during Chrismas market time for five days. Use Karlsruhe as our hub. Location is great, next the train station but quite in the room. Room is neat and clean. Breakfast is generous buffet. We love the waffle! Still try to figuring out what kind of batter they use it. Thank you 🌷 Ibis! Five stars plus!

Very close to the train station, great place to end up in the late evening. My room had the option to open the windows. I enjoy a fresh breeze!

Great Breakfast!

Good breakfast, very clean rooms. Hower had trouble finding a parking spot as the hotel parking was full.

Breakfast was amazing! -1 star because they claim to have on site parking, but in reality their parking garage is way too small for the amount of rooms the hotel has. We had to drive around 20 minutes to find on street parking and finally had to park in the city parking garage.

Hotel is nice and so is the breakfast. If you are driving a non-Tesla EV, you will be disappointed by the fact that this hotel only has Tesla chargers.

Hotel is close to town centre and very clean. Staff is kind and helpful.

Hotel was nice and clean, but older. Location is good if you want to be close to city center. Extra 19 Euro for parking per night so be sure to add that to the room cost. I stayed 2 nights, but my room was nit cleaned. The price for the value is okay. I would stay here again.

The rooms are fine and clean, but appear a bit outdated. Breakfast is good, but not spectacular. The trams passing by the building cause vibrations you can feel inside your room and bed.

Friendly staff. Room was tidy and clean. The interior is stuck somewhere in the 80s. The bed was very soft. The bathroom in general is out of shape. The shower couldn’t keep temperature. If you are having a room towards the main street, the city train will rattle you to sleep. Considering the price per night I would have expected more.

Leonardo Karlsruhe ist perfectly located in walking distance of the central station. The team is very friendly and helpful, the hotel in excellent condition. I highly recommend it and will come again soon.

Great value for money Center of the city, close to main shopping area. Decent terrace for outdoor dining, or drinks. Rooms are good size and clean. Nice views from upper floors. Motivated staff make stay pleasant. Two areas of improvement: 1. Bathrooms, especially showers need renovation. 2. Create more safety by adding one or two lights in the parking area. We had a great stay during times of COVID-19 - the staff is very friendly and responds fast to any open questions or doubts. We used the modern sauna and fitness area for an extra charge (normally it's included but now, they offer it exclusively to you for a certain time span and you are basically alone there and can be in a safe and clean environment). Great rooms (bed, AC, bathroom), breakfast and service. Unfortunately could hear the construction outside the window easily along with hammering in the rooms but nothing insane.

Location location location. Right in centre of town. Polite efficient staff. Older but clean rooms. Family rooms (incl sink, microwave, coffee machine). Fitness room, sauna, comprehensive breakfast with cooked and continental selections. Complimentary mini bar with basic drinks and snacks. Wifi patchy.

Nice central location with nostalgic elevator- perfect when arriving by train but hotel also hosts private (paid) parking. Unique are the rooms overlooking the Zoo ( also a must see !) You can hear the animals when windows are open :) With all this said, the breakfast was a big miss! Neither quality nor service were up to par. Please improve hospitality of breakfast staff.

I had a great experience at this hotel! A real 4* hotel with all that comes with a quality service! The room has a classic elegant deco, very clean and nice. Bathroom was also very cleaned and big (for European standards). Maybe the comments from other people related to room and bathroom size has to do with NorthAmerican standards. Nice four star hotel! Good relation Quality/price! Reconditioning an old classical building has been successful. Accommodations are in line with a luxury hotel. Nevertheless... The breakfast room is too far from the buffet facilities. The breakfast buffet could be more in line with international cooking ... ciboulette (chive) in the eggs is not a classic practice. Boiled eggs were overcooked; eggs...

The location of the hotel was my main reason for staying here, though I was expecting a lower-end hotel because of this. On the contrary, the hotel was wonderful. Clean rooms, great amenities, and friendly staff. I would gladly stay here again.

Really nice menace to stay. The hotel and the rooms are noce, the price is good too. Just a bit expensive for the breakfast and the parking fees. But you can park your car immediatly near the hotel. You also can find the tram station just in front of the hotel.

Simple and clean rooms with Queen-size beds. The breakfast is nothing special, but everything you need is there. The hotel is far out of the city big you can get there easily by taking the Tram right in front of the hotel.

I had a good time at Star Inn Hotel. The attendants were warm and very professional in the discharge of their duties. They were always ready to provide any form of help. The rooms were spacious and very functional. I highly recommend Star Inn Hotel for visitors in Karlsruhe.

Location is great! Just two min walking to city center. There is no water boiler, freeze or something like this. Also the night there are drunk people at the around and shouting! So hard to sleep.

This hotel is very much in the centre of Karlsruhe. The room was very clean and big enough for an overnight stay. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly.

Booked two rooms. The rooms are pretty good but the AC is a bit too loud. Check-in takes far too long, booked via Booking.com app. The process should be a lot faster than it currently is.

For the price, this was a great stay! Our room was very clean, had a small balcony and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and the staff was friendly. Our dog also really enjoyed the park & zoo right outside the hotel

Close to the main railway station, comfortable bed lacked a fridge. The staff were really very friendly and good at providing information.

Very strategic location! The hotel is very near to the Schloß, and also near to the city center. There's a cheap overnight parking nearby. The room is big, the bathroom is clean and large. There's just the noise of the tram passing by that might be disturbing for some people. But overall, a comfortable place to stay.

The wheelchair accessible room we had was very nice, but the shower chair was terrible. The breakfast buffet was a little too narrow for the wheelchair, but it worked out.

Really nice hotel, spacious rooms w/ desk space, TV, large bathroom, good beds, free parking on premises or in the street. Very friendly and helpful staff (in English). No airco in our room(s) but fan was already available in the room(s). Great service.

Simple, but comfortable room for 5 people, clean bathroom, good breakfast. A bit strange parking as you have to leave keys to your car (two rows of parked cars, one car parked behind another one). We were confused a bit when we was asked for extra payment for extra bed even though we booked the room for 5 people via hotels.com but it was clarified on our benefit so it's fine.

Attention, the hotel has asked me to change the review. This is, as they called themselves, a “Different” hotel. I didn’t have a good experience since I am used to the more classic hotels. When you book, pay attention to the square meter size of the room and also, notice there are no phones inside the rooms. I believe there was a problem with their reception phone and I couldn’t get through calling...

The hotel is efficient and the staff is friendly. Easy walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

I had a pleasant stay. Loving the rooms very clean style! Hotel staff was very helpful and had even prepared some goodies for my birthday! And last but not least the location is incredible. A drugstore is located right next to the hotel and a 24 hours restaurant is up the street.

I stayed here while at a conference in Karlsruhe this week and it was lovely! No problems at all, a warm welcome and continued kindness throughout my stay. I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back that way! Clean, tidy, helpful and in a great location!

I really enjoy staying in this hotel, some treat on the pillow was a nice surprise 👍. Awesome breakfast, big choice and everything is tasty, juicy fruits 😋. The only problem was to park the car around, sometime it took even 15 minutes.

Hotel is located next to the train station directly at the street but its not noisy. Breakfast is ok - but nothing special.

Please be aware you must know the code for the locked front door and no one at the front Desk except certain hours. I was not aware of a 'code' and had to wait for someone to SEE ME standing at the door to let me in. It is a very nice Hotel and directly behind the train station. I will stay there again next time I'm back in my home town.

Great value for money! Rooms are of course quite simple and maybe not as clean as in facilities with higher standards, but the hotel is sufficient for a couple of nights when visiting relatives or for business trips. We didn't have breakfast in this B&B but in another one and it was okay. You'll get what you expected.

This hotel would have deserved 5 stars if the following things were present: 1) sound proof doors for the room (people talking in the corridor you hear them as they were in your room) 2) GOOD pillows to sleep (this is an important thing)! 3) the quality of the breakfast is a little bit a better However, from the quality/price point of view (60 euros and breakfast included) and its proximity to Karlsruhe...

Lots of reviews mention the trams, but in our room (43) it was barely noticeable, we were towards the back of the hotel. This place was good, standard breakfast, nice rooms. No complaints.

Great breakfast, 10 minutes walk to main shopping area, and 15 mins to the main train station. There are also a tram stops right outside, so very handy. Clean, comfortable, and good value for money too.

Perfect apartment next to the actual hotel, but still part of the hotel, spotless and cosy master bedroom and children's room. Best breakfast in a while. Various and colorful food products to choose from.

The hotel is pretty new (I lived several times on separate building, didn't know anything about main building). The rooms are cosy and you could have a balcony for the fresh air, for my family is it quite crucial to have. The breakfast is really good, even if you come close to the end of it. Just went for food but that was excellent. Beef and seasonal food (white forced asparagus was featured heavily when I was there) are specialties. Lovely service and atmosphere.
