I stayed at AAAA Hotelwelt GmbH for two weeks while on a business trip in Karlsruhe. The hotel has an old, antique style vibe, which gives it some character. The location is very convenient several food options, including halal Turkish restaurants and supermarkets, are within walking distance.
The rooms are in an older style as well. One downside is that they don’t have dark curtains, so sunlight wakes you up early. There’s also no mini-bar, fridge, or coffee service in the rooms, which I found disappointing – at the very least, a mini fridge would have been useful. In terms of cleanliness, the rooms were not fully up to standard. The housekeeping team could improve on preparing the rooms properly for new guests.
For parking, the hotel offers a paid underground garage, which is practical.
Overall, while the hotel has some drawbacks, especially in room amenities and cleanliness, the prices are quite reasonable. Considering the value for money, I would say it’s still a decent stay for the price.

Be careful if you forget your things in your room. You won't get them back! They'll say there's nothing there, even if it's something precious.

Good location. Clean and lots of amenities around the property. Receptionists were helpful and friendly. Spoke English was a big bonus. While at the Deutsche Museum saw a bag carrier from this hotel! Thank you from Canada 🇨🇦

Rooms are quite disappointing. First one I was given smelled like sewage clearly some bad job with the canalization. I changed rooms , smell was better but no blackout curtains, if you can’t sleep with sun or light good luck.
Service is good except there is no normal water?? 5€ for normal water and sparkling water is free… Im not staying for long but thought worth sharing. Not very satisfied with this stay.
The outside is cute, a couple of things to see.

Extremely dated, and no safe in bedroom. However the staff where lovely and where helpful, was perfect for 1 night

One of the most eccentric and unique hotels I know. If you like slickly branded and designed hotels with no edges and imperfections- this one is not for you. Here you will find funny details and weird decorations on every corner - there is a fliipping crane in the backyard as decoration - but it’s so refreshing despite many things being old-fashioned. My room was simple but very very clean. Friendly staff, great breakfast! I hope these kind of hotels don’t die out.
