Hotel International Am Theater in Munster

The hotel is located in front of the theater, which was very convenient. This this hotel was chosen. Having said that, the hotel is very outdated and there is not enough space in a double to move around.

However, all the staff are amazingly freindly and offer prompt services.

In spite of no space and no desk to work on my laptop in a double room, which costs 115€, I'd still give 4 stars due to its warm welcome and friendly services.

There's a one small gym room on the third which can be used 24/7

We felt very comfortable here. The staff is very friendly.

The rooms are small, but tidy and clean. There is an elevator for taking luggage up to the 3rd floor.

For an evening drink, there is a small, comfortably furnished lounge with a living room atmosphere. A refrigerator there offers a variety of chilled drinks, including sparkling wine, wine, beer, Fanta, Coke, soft drinks, and mineral water. There is also a coffee machine and tea-making facilities, as well as a selection of sweet and savory snacks, presented with great care. These are listed by room number and paid for upon check-out on the day of departure. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, with freshly cooked eggs, bread, rolls, cold cuts, cheese, meat salad, herring salad, jam, fresh fruit, fruit salad, yogurt, and muesli.

The hotel is ideally located, very centrally, a 10-minute walk from St. Paul's Cathedral and the market square, and a 5-minute walk from the restaurants Kleiner and Großer Kiepenkerl. Right next door is a small Italian restaurant and a wine shop.

It's also worth noting that restaurants in Münster's city center are closed on Sundays.

For this price in this location in Münster it's hard to get a room. So if you want to stay in the city centre and are on a budget, this might be for you. The rooms are pretty basic and clean, the bed was good. The breakfast was as expected and the staff is friendly. But don't expect much more. The tiny elevator dates from 1968. The rooms have no A/C. The walls are pretty thin. The doors are 1m90, so tall people be ware. Parking space is very limited, but there is a parking garage close-by. A nearby restaurant 'Vinothek' can be very noisy or their customers at least. Münster has a lot of churches and church bells. Know that the nearby church rings their bells roughly between 07:00 and 20:00 or 21:00. Quarter past once, Half past twice, Quarter to three times and every hour four times plus the amount of hours.

This hotel has comfortable beds, a good breakfast and clean rooms. Our room did get quite hot due to the lack of air conditioning. There was also a loud ventilation unit right outside our window.
