The hotel is perfectly situated in the aldstat area. Close to museums, churches and restaurants. St. Petri church is next door - take the lift to the observation deck to see a beautiful 360 degree view.

We liked the hotel so much we extended our stay. The staff were amazing. We felt valued as guests and would happily return to the hotel. The room was well appointed. Comfy bed, air conditioning and mini bar.

We paid extra to have a purported suite with city view that turned out to be facing another apartment building with no view. The room description was very misleading.

Best hotel we stayed at in Northern Germany. Absolutely the best of all 10 hotels we stayed at during this summer vacation. Nice staff everywhere. Easy parking in tha garage next to the hotel. 50 meters from the town centre. No noise, nice beds and fabulous breakfast

This hotel is located well in the center of town. It has classy interior and has some luxurious details. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and service is impeccable!

Wow! This hotel was phenomenal in every regard. The receptionists were always extremely kind. Their breakfast buffet was also phenomenal. Everything was fresh and tasty every day. It was nice to start my day with so many pleasant people greeting me! One other perk— I really, really appreciated that they accommodate guests with special pillows, should they need them. Very close to the old town. Hotel is very dated and the room has a musky smell. Not worth the price paid .

Very good location, 1.7km from city center, easily walkable from city center...car parking around hotel is free... also bus stop is just opposite hotel..

As we did some visits it was strategic in the right place. Other then that - fire alarm during the night, not working safe in the room - there are better hotels in Lübeck.

I was surprise how good this hotel is, not the typical holiday inn in USA!. Its very spacious and the breakfast is good. Also good location in Luebeck. Will stay in this Hotel Long te

We didn’t realise there was so many different room types and ours was small and no in room kettle just ok for overnight stay

Okey We stayed one night, and it was okey. Lobby was nice, but rooms need an upgrade.

Very practical location and parking facilities. The reception/lounge area very simple but OK. Rooms exactly as described, but the glass shielding of the the toilet/bathroom facilities are not “private” enough. Restaurant personal seems not educated and the wine/drink menu was only partly available. The chicken was not properly prepared. Breakfast was super.

A nice hotel close to the city with a super view, 8 floors. Okay breakfast and dinner. The staff are very service minded and sweet. If you have a dobbelt room, don't be shy. The hole bathroom area is frosted glass walls. You see and smell every thing 😋 We had a great stay.

Functional and clean hotel. Good value stay in a modern hotel within a reasonable distance of Lübeck centre. Car parking is right next to the hotel and plentiful at a reasonable cost. Very clean and modern, walkable distance to the town and river. Really nice rooftop bar with great panoramic views. Good choice of food and drinks. Good access to Travemunde port - less than 15 minute drive to the check in point.

Beautiful quaint hotel with excellent food and even better massages! We stayed in room 44 and the room was spacious and quiet. The grounds of the hotel are simply beautiful. Dinner was mouthwatering and breakfast although quite simple, very fresh and tasty. Our massage therapist was excellent!

We travelled from the US to this lovely country inn for a family reunion. It was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the location so very peaceful and beautiful. There were beautiful grounds and the reunion dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast also had an extension selection, and everything was fresh and tasty. It's a beautiful property for a quiet rest, so long as you stay at the property as there is nothing else in the area within walking distance. Spa services were not as advertised, and had to be booked an hour in advance, and were not the same hours as listed - closing at 6PM instead of 9PM, with massage having to be booked even further in advance.

Nice quiet hotel . A really nice hotel , well away from the bustle of Lubek [so no walking in to town] offering excellent service but quite pricey ! A good place for a relaxing break or stopover [as we were] on your European road trip to or from Denmark. Surrounded by corn fields and gardens . Oh - I nearly forgot , they can’t spell Potato !

Been here many times now. Beautiful hotel with excellent service and the restaurant is serving amazing food and wine. Sitting outside during summer is great. Close enough to easy get to Lübeck city center as well.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Lübecker Krönchen for 1 night. We stayed in the room Heaven on Earth. The couple running the B&B are lovely hosts, that took a lot of care of the building and you see and feel that. The room itself was amazing, it was an experience on its own. In earlier days Anett and Peter had a nice Farmhouse for guests and married lots of young couples far away on the eastcoast of S-H. Now they have found this nice place in Lübeck which is the most perfect place. It combines the perfect couple taking care on you together with their professionell staff. Very luxorious, not the way you normally picture a bed and breakfast. Parking in front of the house. The staff/owners where very nice and helpful.

Great old house, well thought-out, economical design allows the house to speak for itself. Beautiful view of the Trave and the Lübeck Gate. A very good breakfast for 10 euros, obviously not a 4-star buffet but very good value for money. A wonderful hotel in Lübeck. Good location: 20 minutes from the train station, the old town and the riverside 5 minutes. Everything within walking distance. The room had a nice floor and the room was otherwise elegantly decorated and the bathroom had loose soap, a small bottle of shampoo, body cream and a shower cap which are no longer available in hotels, as well as a free bottle of water when I arrived...

Staff members must have thought we were the King and Queen of Sweden (who once stayed here). At least that's how they treated us.

THE place to stay in Lübeck Altstadt. Very cosy hotel close to everything. The outside and the inside is from the year 1216, but very modern rooms. Very attentive and kind personnel - feels like home. Breakfast is a bit sparse, but 100% organic.

Excellent hotel, no issues at all for us. There may be a potential drawback with noise from the outside. We noticed it early in the evening but fortunately it was only brief and not a problem. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.

It was close to the Holstentor Gate, and the breakfast with a view of the river overlooking Lubeck was exceptional. It was so close that you could walk through the Holstentor Gate to work off your stomach during the buffet, then come back and have coffee and dessert. The best.

Always good service. Very comfortable bed. And perfect garage under the hotel.

Though location is very good and the hotel is modern and clean the pompous name 'Senator Hotel' does not match the service. No help when you have a lot of baggage and while you can order food from room service late no drinks are delivered after the bar is closed. They run the hotel with minimum staff.
