Breakfast was excellent with many options of good quality food. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice that serves delicious dinner. In short, it was a pleasant place to stay for an enjoyable vacation

Excellent stay. Room was very clean and spacious. The bed is one of the best we have slept in. The buffet breakfast has an amazing spread and all the staff was very good. Highly recommended.

Perfect room for the price range. Only thing to mention is the carpet rug. It was nice and clean, but we prefer no rug as it is easier to keep clean from bacteria and dirt. Reception is good, nice service

The hotel is perfectly situated in the aldstat area. Close to museums, churches and restaurants. St. Petri church is next door - take the lift to the observation deck to see a beautiful 360 degree view.

I come back every year for the breakfast alone! In the lobby the staff makes special drinks and they excel at hot chocolate (made with the espresso machine using real whole milk and world's best chocolate) and ginger tea made from fresh cut ginger root and honey

I stayed at the hotel during the summer, the front deck were extremely helpful and professional they let me check in hours before the actual check in time, room I booked was small double room but actually can fit to persons comfortably, bed very comfortable, bathroom nicely done

Cute, comfortable. Small rooms but tasteful and very well renovated bathrooms. It's a historical building so there's some noise between walls. Straightforward but nice breakfast (except the coffee was lacking).

I was on a business trip, and everything was good except the noise. I heard the people in the rooms around me and the street traffic. Maybe it would not have been so bad if the room had a view of the internal yard

No space to park motorcycle. Front desk tried their best to help , no result. Ended up by 'parking' next to main entrance which is against fire fighting rules.....

The interiors are modern and the rooms are clean. We were there as a family of 4 in Thier family room and it was just the right amount of space

Large chic hotel. Very nicely decorated rooms, beautiful garden, pool and sauna. Good restaurant and extensive breakfast. However, far too few parking spaces.

The bathroom was clean, had a mirror and a smaller makeup mirror and spacious shower and was all in all also very well designed. The spa area was nice to relax in. It had many deck chairs and a separate relaxation room

Lovely golfcourse with lots of space and log fairways. Greens were a bit uneven and could be better. Rooms were pleasant and spacious with good beds. Restaurant had good food and outstanding service

The house looks very well maintained, even now in Corona times, great attention is paid to hygiene. Corona has unfortunately fallen victim to the bread service. But there was a welcome bottle of sparkling wine

Their shampoo and similar products were also pretty good and natural. Staff was helpful and friendly, and spoke english

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests

I go to the appartments since over 15 years, because it is quiet, very close to the beach and you can use the spa of the hotel. There are even a nice swimming pool and saunas in the basement

You can stay with 4 or more persons on the rooms. There are enough parking lots or park close for free, unloading in front of the appartments is no problem

The hotel is located just across the small main street separating it from the beach. It is a 3 minute walk to the typical Strandkoerbe (semi-closed beach loungers) on the beach and the pier with a restaurant at its end

The beach is gorgeous, pristine and extending for many kilometers on either side. The hotel has parking and nice, fairly large rooms, some with balconies. The restaurant has tasty food and an ample breakfast buffet

There is no spa as advertised but the saunas and steam plus rest area were excellent. It's a pity that there is no outdoor seating other than a noisy smoking area

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a weekend. It was a friendly welcome, all the staff were very friendly and beamed with the sun and the bet. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable, even with an extra TV room

If something was empty, it was immediately refilled by the singing waitress, a very nice lady. In short, it was just great to be a guest here. Oh yes, charging stations are also there for vehicles

Center can be reached in 5 minutes, everything can be reached on foot in 2 minutes. Will book the hotel again directly. Everyone in the house (hotel owner and staff 10/10) more than satisfied

I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people

We had the fire jellyfish room. It was a good size with a sleeping area and a small living area with a sofa, table, sideboard, TV, mini fridge. Kettle, cutlery and a few dishes were also available

Water in the shower drained very well, can't understand the negative review at all. The heating worked very well in winter now, the bed was a bit soft. Good selection of muesli, cereals, nuts

We recently had our first global meeting after a 2 year hiatus caused by Covid. The Bayside Hotel was an absolute perfect location to combine excellent meeting rooms with a beautiful seaside panorama

The room was very nice, with a view of the sea. I really enjoyed the wellness on the first day. I went to the restaurant and ate schnitzel, which was also very good.

One star deducted for the lack of WiFi in our room, and the hotel can't be held responsible for the stolen flip-flops in the hotel sauna. Still, it's a shame that something like that spoiled our stay a little
