Excellent hotel, no issues at all for us. There may be a potential drawback with noise from the outside. We noticed it early in the evening but fortunately it was only brief and not a problem. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.

It was close to the Holstentor Gate, and the breakfast with a view of the river overlooking Lubeck was exceptional. It was so close that you could walk through the Holstentor Gate to work off your stomach during the buffet, then come back and have coffee and dessert. The best.

Always good service. Very comfortable bed. And perfect garage under the hotel.

Though location is very good and the hotel is modern and clean the pompous name 'Senator Hotel' does not match the service. No help when you have a lot of baggage and while you can order food from room service late no drinks are delivered after the bar is closed. They run the hotel with minimum staff.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the aldstat area. Close to museums, churches and restaurants. St. Petri church is next door - take the lift to the observation deck to see a beautiful 360 degree view.

We liked the hotel so much we extended our stay. The staff were amazing. We felt valued as guests and would happily return to the hotel. The room was well appointed. Comfy bed, air conditioning and mini bar.

We paid extra to have a purported suite with city view that turned out to be facing another apartment building with no view. The room description was very misleading.

As we did some visits it was strategic in the right place. Other then that - fire alarm during the night, not working safe in the room - there are better hotels in Lübeck.

A nice hotel close to the city with a super view, 8 floors. Okay breakfast and dinner. The staff are very service minded and sweet. If you have a dobbelt room, don't be shy. The hole bathroom area is frosted glass walls. You see and smell every thing 😋 We had a great stay.

Very clean and modern, walkable distance to the town and river. Really nice rooftop bar with great panoramic views. Good choice of food and drinks. Good access to Travemunde port - less than 15 minute drive to the check in point.

Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet in the hallway of the hotel on the 2nd floor has not been vacuumed for 4 days. Because it is not cleaned daily, the tile joints look dirty. I stayed at Tryp Hotel for two nights with my dog. Friendly, problem-free check-in, the room was very clean and furnished perfectly fine for the hotel category. Great hotel with no air conditioning but no problem due to the generosity of the hosts and the cleaning which was done in all cases.

Have seen better days, time to refurbish the rooms perhaps, clean and tidy but the rooms have more to wish for, I'm a returning guest for approx 20 years but I will think twice next time

Lovely hotel with good access to old town. Single room expensive for the very compact room and bathroom but was very modern and nicely appointed. 20 min flat walk to rail station, bit far with a head wind and heavy luggage. No lift, steep stairs but staff help with luggage.

Friendly staff who helped to organize an ironing station, just a 10 min walk to the old town, modern bathroom although quite tiny, comfortable bed but “German” big pillow was too soft for my taste.

Beds were good.. the bad thing is you will get lost the first time you come here To search for your room , this hotel is huge 1 star off because I had to do the Covid test, where other hotels didn't even mention about it.. Love hotels, where in the morning you can go to the pool and take a dip, lie down on the warm deck chair and sit in the sauna. Then a delicious Breakfast and enjoy a Cup of good coffee. In addition, the hotel balcony and ample Parking for guests-it is a thing unprecedented in the entire country. The hotel has quite a long and winding corridors that can be lost. 5 stars! Top!

This place is across the central train station but it managed to stay quiet. It is very close to a lot of the sight seeing areas and restaurants. Very convenient. I was on a business trip, and everything was good except the noise. I heard the people in the rooms around me and the street traffic. Maybe it would not have been so bad if the room had a view of the internal yard. The location is perfect, and if I need to return to Lubeck, I will use it again.

the hotel is close to main station. it is quiet and the staff is really nice. the breakfast ist good and has a variety of foods. Coffee is good - most important! I went on a business trip and I like the chain in general: not to business stylish but still somehow cozy. Staff was super friendly.

Experience was mostly positive, only negative was we had a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom on arrival, but when we brought this to the attention of the reception staff he was very apologetic and gave us a drinks voucher with the new towels. Beautiful quaint hotel with excellent food and even better massages! We stayed in room 44 and the room was spacious and quiet. The grounds of the hotel are simply beautiful. Dinner was mouthwatering and breakfast although quite simple, very fresh and tasty. Our massage therapist was excellent!

We travelled from the US to this lovely country inn for a family reunion. It was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the location so very peaceful and beautiful. It's a beautiful property for a quiet rest, so long as you stay at the property as there is nothing else in the area within walking distance. Spa services were not as advertised, and had to be booked an hour in advance, and were not the same hours as listed - closing at 6PM instead of 9PM, with massage having to be booked even further in advance.

Nice quiet hotel . A really nice hotel , well away from the bustle of Lubek [so no walking in to town] offering excellent service but quite pricey ! THE place to stay in Lübeck Altstadt. Very cosy hotel close to everything. The outside and the inside is from the year 1216, but very modern rooms. Very attentive and kind personnel - feels like home. Breakfast is a bit sparse, but 100% organic.

I can only rate this hotel 5*... my wife got sick after dinner in a sushi restaurant. Next morning we overslept and we were too late for breakfast. We were much surprised that they waited with the breakfast buffet for us! We really appreciate this service. Hotel itself is very clean and conveniently located close to the historical city center.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk outside Lübeck with limited parking outside. The bus station is no more than 3 minutes away. The family room was not spacious, but more than sufficient for one night. The bed was a bit on the soft side. The dining area was real cozy. This hotel is dog friendly.

August 2nd 2020 for 1 night. Lovely lovely. I believe it.is refurbished. The washroom is beautiful and clean. The room is wonderful and clean with 2.single beds and 2 sofa beds. It was better than the 4 star hotels we went to in Hamburg and Berlin. The breakfast was nice.

July 2020. Room 15. One night stop on way to Berlin - fully refurbed room to high standard. Fantastic shower 💦. Room a little warm at night but fan provided which is a nice touch. Restaurant (you need to book) is very good high quality italian. The pork steaks fantastic 👌🏻👌🏻.

Very nice hotel with big and clean room, nice terrace with the view to the field and nice breakfast. There is a bug parking place available near the hotel. Also the restaurant provide a good and tasty meals for dinner. Make sure to call them or check the opening times. At Thursday the kitchen opens from 17 till 21. The price is higher than average but the meals are really big and tasty.
