Hotel Land Gut Höhne is the perfect place to disconnect from everything and fully immerse yourself in nature and relaxation. The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful fields, making it ideal for unwinding. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with stone and wood elements that create a warm and cozy atmosphere. The mattress quality was exceptional. As for the facilities, the more we explored, the more hidden gems we discovered.
We spent hours playing billiard and table football, taking long walks across the surrounding fields, enjoying drinks by the fireplace, and indulging in the fantastic spa. Every corner of the hotel offered something special, making our stay both relaxing and entertaining.
However, the true highlight was the restaurant. The food was outstanding, with top-quality ingredients and an impressive variety of options. A special mention goes to the afternoon sweet treat, which was a delightful surprise.
If there’s one point for improvement, it would be the breakfast selection. It would be great to have some cakes or pastries available every morning, not just on weekends, as some guests enjoy something sweet to start the day.

I personally found the architecture and decor to be very pleasant but I found the whole place lacked a good vibe or atmosphere.
The breakfast was ok but nothing to rave about.
I found the buffet dinner to be very disappointing, not a great deal of variety and expensive for what was on offer. To them add on the cost of a couple of drinks it definitely was not a €150 meal
The bar did not open until 9pm so there was no focal point during the day.
The areas where you could have a drink meant you were surrounded by people who were on working conferences and were talking shop and were not interactive with other guests.
I personally would not stay again as I was on holiday and wanted a bit of entertainment and fun.
It may suit others but all depends on what you are looking for.

Sadly a disappointing trip. We booked this for our wedding anniversary & they did not even congratulate. The room was dirtier then expected, the breakfast nothing special, Location out in the nowhere and the service was pushy. We just went to the reception and were told a long speech about booking the extra lunch offer and restaurant dinner of the hotel, at that point we just arrived, didn’t even see the room yet or settled down in any way. The sad part is even our gym we go to has a better steamroom and swimming facilities. Overall not worth the expense, there is much much better hotels for the same price & even less. It was quite disappointing & we definitely won’t come back.
The only good feedback we have, is the decoration outside, and the one Service staff member who was very nice & friendly.

It was disappointing experience totally, I would never advise it even for my enemies!! The place is dirty with urine smell in the sauna Showers, the Sauna either to hot or too cold.. the steamer is full of gooey stuffs and not hot enough.
The biggest thing is they locked the Sauna on me at night and I was shouting for HELP for one hour till someone from the people the upper rooms heard me and called the Reception.
it was completely a nightmare.
They don’t even offer you free water in the rooms!!
Also, they accused me of ordering wine at dinner time and I didn’t!!!
I hope this message will be delivered to the Owners!

Generally a nice hotel, a castellorette. It is romantic, lots of corridors and steps: easy to get lost 😅. The green had lots of chances to cover the walls and roofs, that’s nice. A place with a nice soul, like in France: also a so-so maintenance. It’s a little bit outdated here and there. The outside pool and inside pool are nice, clean. The hotel has a clean appearance. Outside there is some works, not noticeable on the inside. Big parking lot. The food didn’t impress me: it’s not bad, just normal. In my opinion the price is too high, we spend 900 for two nights, full board and some wines/water. Didn’t see children, but that’s ok for me.

Oh yeah! Luxurious castle hotel! Liberal atmosphere, chic rooms, good beer, indoor and outdoor pool, lobby, fitness area, fitness center, boutiques and shops. Good for privacy with your beloved, family vacation.

My partner and I were very impressed with the decor and setting of the hotel - very distinctive and the spa was delightful.
The food in both the buffet and breakfast restaurants was superb and way above average in both quality and range.
The staff were friendly and very helpful although maybe they should ensure they have maps of the local town, Dusseldorf and have an answer to the lack of a Wifi signal?
However, with no airconditioning or internet connection I would think twice about visiting again during work time or summer. The hotel also needs to find an answer to the mosquito problem! We are both covered in bites!

I had Höhne a Meeting with my sister on the estate, and it was all satisfactory, until on the single room. These were really sad very, almost a bit bleak if it has to be so tight. We will be meeting yet again in it, because everything else was really very well thought out, the staff is very friendly and always ready. Would we wish to have a better Overview of where to find what. Two of the internal saunas we've found in 2 days. In terms of cleanliness and ambiance, eat by the fireplace, etc. everything was very nice. But it would be good if the Restaurant is closed, you still have a other choice than the very expensive floor.
