A bit old fashioned (but spacious) rooms however, it is super clean and quiet. You can sleep here like a baby. They also have very nice mid size pillows not like other hotels with the giant ones. Very cossy after all. Nice view from the window to the forest. Also lots of nature around. Friendly staff. They speak English very well. Very good breakfast. Absolute bargain!

This is a lovely hotel in a tranquil setting. Nicely decorated in the main areas, the rooms are slightly older but still in excellent condition. Food in the restaurant was also very good..will stay here again for my next business trip.

Easy check-in via a key safe and access code. Beautiful large room in sweet baroque style. Coffee and tea on site.

Clean, quiet. I have used it as due to a fair (Messe) nothing was available in Essen area. It did require a bit more travel with public transportation, but it was manageable. Google Maps shows the proper ways to get there. Let me also mention the extra kindness to provide me an iron (which is not basic here, but could still be managed) without extra costs. Really kind. Nice quiet room, 1 star deduction for the soft beds, bathroom functional a bit older but very clean super friendly housekeeper request was dealt with immediately, location close to the forest for walks very suitable. Ideal for dog owners. We will be back

Highly recommended, the rooms are clean and well equipped. The area invites you to hike. The nature there is unique, every morning you wake up with the chirping of birds. The people there are very nice and accommodating. I recommend it, also ideal for bikers. Until next time.

The location is very good, there are some restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets in walking distance. Internet quality is quiet good.

Nice new hotel with good service important when you arrive the policemen in Heiligenhaus are very interested in fatiguing the citizens, a shame when you arrive and only briefly asks where you can park Otherwise very nice employees with pleasure again

Super central location in the middle of the city of Heiligenhaus. Great view of the Neandertal from the upper floors. Very nice facility and barrier-free in every respect. Great praise for the sustainable construction and the high-quality furnishings. Breakfast is also healthy and organic. Great concept - absolute recommendation - very good price-performance ratio.

Actually a nice, clean house. Absolutely incomprehensible that the signs to the house are wrong or not available? After 10 minutes of wandering, a local resident explained to me that access is via the Best Western Hotel.

Check-in at the Western Park Hotel nearby. You can also park there - for a fee. The building can then also be accessed from there. So DO NOT let Google drive you directly to the house at the park. Exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tablet in the room didn't work at all and I woke up one morning to no hot water. Nothing worse than an ice cold shower. If not for those two issues, I would have given 5 stars. Decent area with just about everything you need within walking distance (a mile or so).

The hotel was made from an old factory so you can see some cool photos of that era. The hotel itsself is well maintained and cleaned. Breakfast is classic continental with a good choice of options. Lunch/dinner options are pretty good too - you can even mix&match a couple of options. The staff is great 👍 I would miss better AC if I was here during hotter months, maybe, but being here several times...

It is too far from the Essen city center and you need a car for that during weekends. It was really clean. The view of garden was not such a wow. The staff were good. In my opinion, the region is slightly unsafe in the late afternoons and evenings ...

Very nice hotel. The room was spacey, clean and nicely done. I had a beautiful view to the park. The attached Restaurant has nice food even though the vegetarian alternatives are hard to find. So they could improve on that. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well done. The room prices are fair. You can walk from here in 10min. To the town center

Just great! This hotel lives from the hosts and the attention to detail. The combination of “old and new” and a breathtaking kitchen is simply excellent. We celebrated a small wedding and loved every course. The rooms were nice, clean and big. And the breakfast also fully confirmed this quality. I can talk a lot about the advantages of this hotel, but I want to highlight the most basic ones. The owners of the hotel have made this place so comfortable and cozy that you will feel like at home. The dishes are exquisitely prepared and very tasty, the dishes are served with love, very nice and tasty! Come here and you will not regret!

Stayed here for some training recently and the hotel is great. It's modern and spotlessly clean and the owners and staff are incredibly helpful We had a dinner with a group of about 30 people on both nights we stayed and the food was excellent. Breakfast was great too. Lots of choice and they would make something for you if you asked I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Velbert

The rooms are small and there is no escalator in the building. I have stayed one time here, probably not preferred for next visit.

Hotel is quaint and dated but very clean. Beds are small. Beds have soft matresses and they are squeaqing everytime you move. It is The same for other Rooms as well, as you can hear at night the Beds from other Rooms. If you are more than 1.8m long your feet will be in the air. Staff is friendly. The service is very friendly and the breakfast was very good. It is plentiful, the breakfast buffet. The parking lot is small, but I've always had a spot. The hotel owner is also very friendly. I will visit the hotel again next time.

The hotel location in the centre of town is excellent for exploring the cobbled streets and lanes of this historical area. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sehr sauber, sehr gut gut gelegen, ausgewogenes Frühstück. Gute Lage mitten in Langenberg. Getränke im Haus sehr günstig, werden das Haus weiterempfehlen. Busanbindung um das Umfeld zu erkunden sind gut. Preis und Leistung sehr gut.

Very quiet at night and a delicious brötchen breakfast buffet in the morning. A nice, modern and a little bit luxurious place to stay in a perfectly quaint town. It was a good place to spend our last night in Germany.

Was a really comfortable hotel. Quite silent place and very clean. Maybe a bit expensive for the facilities, but in general good. Also good breakfast but not much to choose

Clean, modern and spatious room, free breakfast and free parking. TV set was unfortunately very small, no bath tub. All in all good place to stay for a business trip on limited budget. Reception is only present until noon, make sure to call in so you know where to pick up the keys.

No Internet,supposedly wi-fi but I was unable to connect ! Parking ? under the hotel for 4 small cars! The second underground a few tens of meters from the hotel. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Very friendly welcome from the new owners of the house. The rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet is attractive and there is a good selection. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the center in a quiet area. We'd love to come back.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room is quite comfortable, with everything you need, there is even a bed!!! The hotel is easily accessible and you can have lunch there quite well. But what I liked best were the people who welcomed me! The lady at the reception is really adorable, just like the man I met. Thanks a lot. The (real) French ;)
