Ein super Hotel in einzigartiger Lage. Das Personal ist immer superfreundlich und bestrebt, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Die Zimmer sind traditionell eingerichtet, geräumig und immer sauber. Das gilt natürlich für das gesamte Hotel. Das Essen ist ein Traum. Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal Gäste und haben schon wieder gebucht.

Wir waren erstmalig auf der Gröbl Alm und wahrlich begeistert. Freundlicher Empfang, aufmerksames, höfliches und geschultes Personal. Tolles Zimmer mit Ausblick über Mittenwald, sehr sauber, tägliche Reinigung. Hochwertiges Frühstück, alles super lecker. Wir haben an 6 Abenden im Hotel gegessen und waren sechsmal restlos begeistert. Hochwertige und regionale Speisen in großer Vielfalt, alles sehr schmackhaft...

Rundum sorglos. Tolles Zimmer mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf Mittenwald und den Karwendel. Ein Frühstück das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Sehr freundliches Personal und eine Speisekarte die sich sehen lassen kann, alles sehr lecker, wie bei Omma. vielen Dank an alle, wir sehen uns wieder.

Super friendly hotel offering a fabulous breakfast. The views from the spacious balcony are quite stunning. (Pic). Very welcoming atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. I would definitely book this accommodation again in Mittenwald.

One of the best places I've ever stayed at.

I've stayed here 3 times and would definitely return. It is well located, the rooms are spacious(last time I stayed in a single room and even this one was good size), well appointed, clean, bright. Breakfast isn't very varied but that for me isn't an issue as it had what I would normally eat anyway and good quality, fresh.

Fantastic stay, staff is extremely nice and helpful. Hotel is a very short walk to Obermarkt and about 10 min from Karwendelbahn.

Really Quiet, a wonderful place

I was in Mittenwald for on night, as a brake between hikes. I’ve loved my time in this hotel. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was good. They have provided me also with AlpinCard, that gave some discounts in the facilities including free public transport ticket. Just a small recommendation to explore local cable cars. You can also climb Kranzberg hill to watch sunset.

We were only in Mittenwald for one night, but the Hotel Rieger was outstanding. Friendly, helpful front desk staff, clean and spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast with tons of options. The free afternoon cake and coffee was great too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to return to spend more time in Mittenwald in the future.

The hotel is nice and the staff very friendly. The hotel can do with a renovation as the room decor and furnishings are somewhat dated, however you will still be comfortable and have a good stay. The pool was quite nice, but you can expect it to be noisy with kids. Not much of a view from the pool in the Keller. Remember to bring your own house shoes to go swimming. Great spot in Mittenwald, friendly staff and a wellness that made the stay very enjoyable. Arrived by bike, that could be stored in the basement.

Nice and clean hotel. The staff is nice. The service as breakfast and spa is really nice. The spa is small. The hotel is not far from a lot of hiking starting points.

I took my girl for valentines to this place and I would 110% recommend staying here.❤️ The location, the beautiful room, the cleanliness, the spectacular view, the breakfast were absolutely outstanding. Most importantly the host was very warm and kind to us. We are for sure coming here again :)

Without ifs and buts to be recommended. The service is great and the family atmosphere is perfect. You really try so hard that the guests are fine. My first address in Mittenwald. The location and the view from the terrace / balcony just fantastic. You are in town in 3 minutes, everything is within walking distance.

Very good place to stay in Mittenwald. The staff is super friendly and the Ros are nice an clean. If possible ask for Rooms with balcony.the breakfast is included and with good variety of stuff

We had a great few days there. Very comfortable rooms. Close to very interesting attractions like Karwendel. The wife and I had a great time.

Excellent stay at Gastehaus Sonneheim!!! Staying here was absolutely perfect, from the cozy rooms, to the lovely views, and the delicious breakfast served every morning. The staff were very friendly too! We just wished we had stayed here longer because it was just so nice. Next time we are in Mittenwald, we will definitely be staying at Gastehaus Sonneheim again!!

Initially we chose this guest house due to the location close to the train station. We were very pleased with our stay. We got a top floor room with twin beds. It was more like an apartment having a bedroom area, living area with table, bathroom, and private balcony. The typical German breakfast was very good. It was an easy walk to everything in town. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was lovely, the staff friendly. Excellent location right in the middle of town . Great views of the mountain from our balcony. The only downside was that we roasted over night with their winter blankets on.

We 2 adults a dog stayed 3 nights now in room 34 with the sun rising. There is nothing to complain about, everything was clean, the family was super nice, there were even towels for the dog. We liked the facility, Klais is a lovely place. It was 4 great days

You just feel good here! We were in "high flight". You really have everything you need and a nice balcony. Everything is very clean. The hosts are super nice and welcoming. You have great conversations and get good tips. Needless to say, the breakfast is world class. If we go back to the area we will definitely come back here!

The hotel was good with a balcony giving a beautiful view on the mountains. At arrival a booklet was received with many walking trails, several ware easy to reach walking from the hotel. Many others could be reached by car or by bus with short distances. A daily diner was available for 5 out of 7 days for guests of the hotel only, with very reasonable prices.
