Really nice place. Amazing of mountains and nice locality making it even better. Really nice service including breakfast and hotel resturant.

Great hotel right in the heart of town! One of the entrances opens right up into the pedestrian street with the church. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very quiet as the whole town is quiet after dark. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety. Access to the sauna with water beds is included as well which was nice and relaxing in the evening.

This might have been my favorite hotel we stayed at over our 10 days in Germany. Just awesome in every way. Very much worth the money. Highly recommend.

Awesome property! looks like a fairy tail, the rooms are remodel and very comfortable.

Spacious, clean rooms but a bit dated with dim lighting. No coffee / tea or kettle provided in room but staff was kind to give when asked. Low floor rooms were a bit noisy. Hearty breakfast with a good spread. Staff was very helpful even though overwhelmed with a lot of guests. Location is great right in the heart of town and 5 mins away from station.

Place is a bit old, but the owner is a very friendly woman. She only speaks German though, so if you know a bit of German it will come handy. The apartement is on a good location from all the main attractions in the region.

Comfortable stay in a lovely room. We got great views of the gondola and mountains from our room. Be sure to visit the church just down the street and you will find yourself in the old section of town with beautiful buildings. The hotel has a few parking spots behind the restaurant which was very convenient. And dinner was very good as well.

Nice Hotel and kind people but lack of service for the paid price. They did not clean and make the room, also missing shower towels, the only one in the room was very small. Good breakfast and position. Kitchen closed Saturday and Sunday, I understand Sunday but also Saturday closed over weekend is not normal.

This hotel was very easy to deal with directly. We had a prime room on the 3rd floor with a balcony and huge bathroom with a shower and soaking tub. A nice breakfast was included. Its location is at the end of the main pedestrian street so quiet and easy to walk to various sites. It is right across from the local grocery store.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Gröblalm. We come to this area fairly frequently for skiing in and around Garmisch, although this was the first time we'd stayed in Mittenwald as a base. For skiers; The Gröblalm has a ski cellar - we didn't use it - we just leave skis in the car. Superb stay at this hotel. Room was extremely comfortable, clean and with a great view. Staff were friendly and food was absolutely superb. We usually eat out in the evening but stayed in most nights instead to eat. The hotel is in a location where it’s possible to start many walks. All are well signposted. Very nice, small, family-run Hotel. You are making very effort that, for the holiday of luck, nothing is missing. You will receive a warm welcome with a welcome drink. The Spa area is very stylish. The Hotel is centrally located in the middle of the forest. We have us felt very comfortable and our next holiday will be spend in the middle of the forest again in the Bichlerhof.

One of the best places I've ever stayed at.

I've stayed here 3 times and would definitely return. It is well located, the rooms are spacious(last time I stayed in a single room and even this one was good size), well appointed, clean, bright. Breakfast isn't very varied but that for me isn't an issue as it had what I would normally eat anyway and good quality, fresh.

Fantastic stay, staff is extremely nice and helpful. Hotel is a very short walk to Obermarkt and about 10 min from Karwendelbahn.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gästehaus Edlhuber. We walked there from the train station without a problem, and our host was very friendly and flexible the whole time. And the room! My wife and I had one of our best vacations at the Bäckeralm. We were lovingly received, lovingly hosted. At breakfast every wish was fulfilled. The room was very comfortable, the bed excellent and the view upon waking was priceless. We'll definitely be back.

We 2 adults a dog stayed 3 nights now in room 34 with the sun rising. There is nothing to complain about, everything was clean, the family was super nice, there were even towels for the dog. We liked the facility, Klais is a lovely place. It was 4 great days

You just feel good here! We were in "high flight". You really have everything you need and a nice balcony. Everything is very clean. The hosts are super nice and welcoming. Definitely worth the price. We loved the food, room and the stunning view. Awesome spa offer. But we were not impressed by the reception work. At our arrival we didn’t get proper information about our stay and we got wrong purchases on our bill in the end. We didn’t get the offer to bring the luggage to the room. Magnificent Zugspitz panorama, a super Playground (with many vehicles and Pendelwipppe) and horse paddock next to it. The food was also good. For us it was the trip from Italy, the perfect grid.

The hotel was good with a balcony giving a beautiful view on the mountains. At arrival a booklet was received with many walking trails, several ware easy to reach walking from the hotel. Many others could be reached by car or by bus with short distances. A daily diner was available for 5 out of 7 days for guests of the hotel only, with very reasonable prices.

Great Bed and Breakfast! Website says that the restaurant is closed except for breakfast, but as of August the restaurant is open throughout the day, and officially closes at 2000, but service may still be provided after that time. Be aware that if you arrive too late in the evening, the doors will be locked and you will be unable to check in.

Gasthof Zum Schweizerbartl was a very positive experience for our family. The owner went out of his way to put us up in the middle of the night and made sure we were happy at no extra charge. This is a wonderful place it has history all thru the large guesthouse staff were very nice and helpful.We stayed here for 3 nights and it was peaceful the room was very clean and the shower room was modern and very efficiently laid out.They don't have food available but breakfast is available and was fine.I would defiantly go back here again
