We stayed there for 5 nights. Breakfast is bad, room were comfy but you can feel they had good days long behind them. The personnel was really helpful. Good in the restaurant was not even. Nice staff, great facilities including the pool, sauna, and gym. Biggest downfall is that the rooms feel a little outdated. But with all the other positives, it's hard not to recommend. There's even a bus stop right outside to connect you to where you need to go. Would come again.

Fine place. Nothing to complain about except I forgot my keys in my room after leaving and weirdly enough the hotel personnel weren't able to find them. Very strange as I told exactly where they were. But probably just a mistake. Good breakfast and especially the coffee.

I book a room at the Bredeney yearly during the Essen Spiel board game fair. Friendly staff, clean rooms and very enjoyable breakfast. During Essen Spiel, the conference rooms are open in the evenings for the guests to play their newly purchased games. I love meeting fellow board game geeks at the hotel and it’s practically right around the corner from the Messe.

Very clean hotel, the service is astonishing and friendly. The breakfast is has a lot of choice of food, and even more. It’s also very safe since you can’t enter the hotel without a key card. I am impressed.

Rooms start to need some refurbishment. Dirty carpet and curtains as an example. Good bed. Reception and bar/restaurant are nice and spacious.

I stayed at the hotel two weeks in a row for work. I had problems with the air conditioner not working in both rooms. A coworker also had problems with the air conditioner in their room. If there's not a snowflake symbol in the bottom right corner of the thermostat screen, it's not cooling. Other than that, it is a nice hotel in a great location.

Very kind at the reception, the beds are amazing and the breakfast is gorgeous. We were even able to have access to the rooms at 13:00 👍 Only one bad point, the parking spaces. You'll have to pay to let your car in the street or at the car park. I recommend.

Rooms where neat and tidy, shower was brilliant, pillows take some getting used to. Food is decent, staff are mostly friendly, we where there for a board game convention locally but kept getting hassle from staff when trying to play.

We stayed in the hotel for one night. We got an accessible room without asking for it, but as it did not bother us too much, we did not say anything about it. The room itself was clean and quite spacious. The window overlooked the parking lot. The only thing is that an housekeeper opened our door twice in the morning, while we were still in the room. Friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing shower and good breakfast. They have a huge parkinglot, which you do have to pay for. The hotel is located right next to the mall. Only thing i personally disliked was the bed, it was a little too hard for my liking.

For the price, it was excellent. Very clean room, easy check-in, tasty breakfast. Just needed more towels 😬 They had everything I need for it to be an amazing breakfast... eggs, bacon, and coffee 😋 The hallway smelled like food though and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

We had a double room for 2 nights. The room and the toilet were small that it hardly fit for two persons to walk around. Nevertheless, The location was quite strategic, within the walking distance to the Altstadt and also main station. The variations of the breakfast were acceptable, but the employees were very friendly. Overall, the price was quite expensive for such a hotel.

A smile is what often makes a difference. People mainly expect a clean room for a decent price when they stay in a B&B. I was really delighted by the friendly staff that was so caring during breakfast and made it their priority to have happy guests. I had much more expensive rooms where I met staff that could learn a lot from the friendly gentleman down there.

Very comfortable new hotel in the area but very little effort has been made to make it easily accessible on foot. This is very much a ‘car required’ area, which is more the fault of the area than the hotel. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced compared to alternatives locally.

We stayed at the hotel for a night. The hotel was really good with 24/24 service. The room is cosy and clean. We are happy with the price (62€/night) and the cappuccino for 3,5€. However, the room is not really soundproof.

A modern and comfortable hotel. I was impressed by the cleanliness that I found excellent. I had chosen it for a business trip for the number of good services that there are in the surroundings. Unfortunately, due to the Covid, it was not possible to fully enjoy it. But the hotel is recommended and I will be back.

Great hotel, newly refurbished, very clean but what stood up was the night shift person Steven Denkowitz who went way out of his way to accommodate me and my family with 2 young children when we checked in at night. His customer service level was phenomenal and he was extremely kind and caring. He made our day. Thank you Steven. You are a real asset to this hotel.

Aparts in Oberhausen is a very tidy, comfy place. We stayed for just one night however I can tell that beds are large and comfy, very well equipped kitchen and overall - great value for money. Friendly staff and good localisation - I can recommend it!

This is a great Hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in and around Essen for work and finally have found a hotel that ticks all my boxes. Good room, good staff, good breakfast, good parking and most of all comfortable bed and pillows plus a proper size study table to work on. No need to search for new hotel, this will be my preferred hotel from now on.

We have used this hotel multiple times whilst attending exhibitions in Duesseldorf. The drive to the exhibition is ok and the pricing just doesn't compare during busy times. Another gem in small town, hard to find and hard to forget. We had the Turm Suite facing the river, large room well equipped with a great view. Breakfast was cooked to order and had all you wanted. I can only recommend this small and nice hotel. #wishyouwerehere

Stayed here for a night, just to enjoy the christmas markets. My lord were we surprised. Originally we booked this for the lower pricing, but never would we have expected the size and luxury of the rooms. I've been at this hotel for a business meeting and I was very pleased with everything. They have a great service, tasty food and everybody is always willing to help you. They have free WiFi and we also got a business folder with paper and a pen. The only thing to complain about is not enough parking space. If there a hotelguest and people attending meetings not everyone will find a parking space.

The design and furniture of the room (wooden) gives the room a very warm feel. The restaurant is awesome. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a nice park around the corner. Despite the distance to the city center, fairly efficient public transit.
