I just want to offer praise where it is deserved. I stayed only one night, but should I have need I will choose to stay here again. Great staff, delicious breakfast and right in the middle of town. And all this for a very reasonable price!

This Hotel is managed with love. They take care of you and your needs like a homecoming guest. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is top in Murnau just in the center. Breakfast has many choices. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel you can just step outside to find many cafes and restaurants around. The rooms are very clean and have a very good storage space for your things and the excutive rooms are so specious. There is no elevator in the hotel but its only 2 floors and while there is not any air condition you can always ask for a fan.
I would definately stay there again if I visit Murnau and definitely recommend it to others.

Very friendly and helpful service at the check in counter by Ms Schön. Her suggestions for activities were perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and the excellent breakfast

The Hotel Post garni is a historic hotel in the center of Murnau. I was especially eager to stay there because of its associations with the playwright Ödön von Horváth.

The rooms were lovely and spacious. The amenities were also wonderful. (Water in the room; An excellent shower.)

Breakfast was also first rate. A variety of excellent offerings.
