Arrived at the hotel early evening and the service wasn't great. The receptionists seemed on edge. The room was spacious, however it wasn't as clean as I'd expect. There were hairs on the bathroom floor, on the bed and the bathroom had a strange odour. The breakfast however was lovely. They had a good selection of foods.

Wonderful stay with friendly and helpful staff, quiet location with mountain view right across the street. Sauna available from 3-8pm is a treat after a day in the outdoors. A hot Gluhwein on tap in the afternoons and the fireplace rounds off a luxurious stay. Breakfast from 8-10am is diverse and high quality. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days. The service was very good, the breakfast excellent. The room was of a good standard, as was the bathroom, if a little on the small side. The location in the village is very quiet and only a few hundred meters from the "center". We will be back, especially because of the rich and high quality breakfast.

Typical winter Bavarian hotel, you can have a sauna after the cold day, and if you'd like a beer at the evening simply go down in the restaurant

You really felt very comfortable in the Alpenpark. The location is perfect; You can walk to the Kochelsee and after a short drive to the Walchensee. The view of the mountains is fantastic! Probably the network and the WLAN are not working properly, but that is not a problem at all, since you are on the road all day anyway!

Spacious and clean apartment that was nicely decorated. We didn't use the breakfast, but instead the bread service, which came on time every morning. A very nice host who also places special emphasis on hygiene in Corona times. The only minor criticism: there is no possibility to darken in the bedroom. The curtains barely stop the light and things like salt, sugar, pepper would be nice :)

This is a great Hotel to stay if you want to explore the region of the Ammergau Alps. The service at the hotel is impeccable and the people of the region are very friendly to tourists. This is a quaint hotel right in front of the mountain "Hörnle" - a great area to Ski and sleigh ride. This restaurant was the first we noticed when visited a town. As we were hungry we decided not to search more and stopped for lunch there. It was a good choice. Food was delicious and nicely presented. They speak English. Great view to the lake for this place.

It is a quiet, simple inexpensive hotel, offering the exact same selection for its decent free breakfast of breads, cold cut meats, sliced cheeses, boiled eggs, yogurt and Muesli, with juice and coffee. Are you kidding me? Is there a more perfect view in all of Bavaria? I could have say on this balcony for a month straight! Honestly the bed was very hard, the pillows were much firmer than others in Germany (thankfully), the staff was terrific! Try the cheese board and Ettal Dunkel! Great experience. The sauna was epic! It has this massive pot/cauldron that drips water over a pile of lava rocks. They also have a cold shower thing outside where you can view the landscape. The hotel was good with a balcony giving a beautiful view on the mountains. At arrival a booklet was received with many walking trails, several ware easy to reach walking from the hotel. Many others could be reached by car or by bus with short distances. A daily diner was available for 5 out of 7 days for guests of the hotel only, with very reasonable prices.

It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.
